Commandeer Property &.Services

Article by others:

Client Alert: Government to Take Property and Commandeer Services

On March 9, 2020, New Jersey’s Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency in light of the coronavirus pandemic. By declaring a state of emergency, Governor Murphy is able to invoke certain far reaching powers that are not otherwise available. For example, pursuant to N.J.S.A. § App.A:9-34, entitled “Emergency powers of Governor,” Governor Murphy is expressly authorized to commandeer private persons, services and properties to avoid or protect against the emergency.

This is particularly important for certain private businesses, such as nursing homes, hospitals, warehouse spaces and other business that might be necessary in fighting the pandemic, which may be requisitioned or commandeered by the government to assist during the crisis. In most such instances, the government is required to provide “reasonable” compensation, although the compensation can be determined after the fact.

For example, N.J.S.A. App.A:9-51, authorizes the Governor to employ, take or use personal services or real property from the purpose of protecting or promoting the public health, safety or welfare. Compensation for any personal services required is to be paid at prevailing established rate for such services. Emergency compensation boards exist in each county, which determine the reasonable compensation due for any property taken and for any injury caused thereby. In order to be compensated, the party must file a petition with the emergency compensation board in the county in which the property is located. Moreover, the compensation board will grant a hearing and the award shall be paid within one year after the compensation decision is rendered.

In addition, the New Jersey Commissioner of the Department of Health has similar emergency powers. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:13-19, the Commissioner may procure, by condemnation or otherwise, property and facilities as may be reasonable and necessary to respond to the public health emergency, with the right to take immediate possession. Such possession is subject to the payment of reasonable costs. N.J.S.A. 26:13-25 provides direction with respect to compensation. After the termination of the public health emergency, but not before 180 days from the last date the services or property were employed, the person may file a petition for an award with the State Public Health Emergency Claim Reimbursement Board. The statute also notes that, in the event funds are made available for reimbursement, such as pursuant to an agreement, a person shall not be required to file a petition for an award.

Our firm is in the middle of a matter involving these cutting edge and unique issues. These are complicated times. If your business has been contacted by the Governor’s office or the Department of Health, the attorneys at Anselmi & Carvelli can assist you in determining your rights and identifying the best path forward. We can negotiate with the State to obtain compensation and work with you to protect your business in these difficult times. Elon Musk wants to turn Tesla’s fleet into AWS (Amazon web services) for AI. During an earnings call with investors, Elon Musk threw out, an idea: what if AWS, but for Tesla?

How powerful is a Tesla GPU? The monster computer found in every Tesla built since October 2016 is the Nvidia computer used by the Autopilot and Self Driving systems. Its two GPUs are capable of 25 Trillion operations per second and require liquid cooling from the car’s cooling system. Nov 12, 2021

Musk, who loves to riff on earnings calls, compared the unused compute power of millions of idle Tesla vehicles to Amazon’s cloud service business.

If they’re just sitting there, he mused, why not put them to good use to run AI models?

“There’s a potential… when the car is not moving to actually run distributed inference,” Musk said. “If you imagine the future perhaps where there’s a fleet of 100 million Teslas and on average, they’ve got like maybe a kilowatt of inference compute. That’s 100 gigawatts of inference compute, distributed all around the world.”

So, to summarize, you buy a Tesla. It’s your property. But Musk wants to freely use the unused compute power in your vehicle for… something? Possibly AI-related? (Tesla is an AI company now, by the way. Musk said so himself during the call.)

NVIDIA — Jensen Huang

Nvidia Corp’s co-founder Jensen Huang has surpassed each member of Walmart’s founding Walton family in terms of personal wealth in a testament to the burgeoning dominance of tech titans.

Following Nvidia’s performance in the latest quarter, Huang’s net worth surged to $91.3 billion, propelling him to the 17th spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

The major share of Huang’s wealth, amounting to nearly $91 billion, is tied up in Nvidia stock, which soared by 9.3% fueled by an optimistic sales forecast.

What you should know…. Huang, renowned for his visionary outlook and leadership, has often heralded the dawn of a new industrial revolution.

His foresight in recognizing Nvidia’s potential in the AI domain has been pivotal in steering the company to unprecedented heights.

Nvidia’s publicly traded stock moment climbing by 23% this year, Nvidia’s stock stands out as the third-best performer in the S&P 500 Index, soaring by an impressive 110%.

Jensen Huang’s journey to tech mogul status traces back to his co-founding of Nvidia in 1993 alongside Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem.

Born in Taiwan and educated in the United States, Huang received an undergraduate electrical engineering degree in 1984 from Oregon state university and a master’s degree in the same subject from Stanford University in 1992.

Nvidia’s rise can be largely attributed to its pivotal role in the artificial intelligence sphere, particularly with its AI accelerator chips.

This dominance has propelled Nvidia’s market value beyond $2.5 trillion, solidifying its position as a frontrunner in the tech industry.

Nvidia Corporation is an American technology company renowned for its graphics processing units (GPUs) and artificial intelligence (AI) computing solutions.

Nvidia initially focused on producing graphics cards for gaming, however, the company expanded its scope to include AI, data centers, autonomous vehicles, and other emerging technologies.

Nvidia’s GPUs are widely used in gaming, professional visualization, data centers, and automotive markets.

The company’s AI computing platforms, such as the Nvidia Tesla GPU accelerators, are pivotal in powering AI applications across various industries, including healthcare, finance, and transportation.

This ascent reinforces Nvidia’s stature as a primary beneficiary of the burgeoning artificial intelligence sector, where spending is on the rise.

For its part, NVidia will be looking to solidify its hold on the emerging machine learning market. While energy-hungry GPUs aren’t as efficient on the inference side of the equation, they’re tough to be beat for the compute-intensive training of neural networks, which is why Web giants like Google, Facebook, Microsoft and others are using so many of them for AI workloads.

However, NVidia isn’t giving up on the inference side of the market, and recently published a benchmark that showed how much better its latest Pascal GPU architectures, most notably the P40, is at inferring than its older Kepler GPU architecture (check out the HPCWire story here). The K80 also out-performed the Google TPU, although Google has probably advanced its TPU since 2015, which is when it calculated the benchmark figures it recently shared. NVidia’s recent hiring of Clément Farabet (formerly of Twitter) also could also portend a shift to more real-time workloads too.

Qualcomm could also be involved in the inference side of the equation. The mobile chipmaker has been working with Yann LeCun, Facebook’s Director of AI Research, to develop new chips for real-time inference, according to this Wired story. LeCun developed one of the first AI-specific chips for inference more than 25 years ago while working at Bell Labs.

The San Diego company recently announced plans to spend $47 billion to buy NXP, a Dutch company that makes chips for cars. NXP was working on deep learning and computer vision problems before the acquisition was announced, and it appears that Qualcomm will be looking to NXP to give it an edge in developing systems for autonomous driving.

Self-driving cars are one of the most prominent areas where deep learning and AI will have an impact. Beyond that, there are many other places where having an on-board AI chip to react to real-world conditions, including in mobile phones and virtual reality headsets. The technology is moving very quickly at the moment, and we’ll soon see other practical uses that will impact our lives.

Groq’s incorporation:

According to an SEC document filed for Groq’s incorporation, the company has raised about $10 million. Leading the way is Chamath Palihapitiya, a prominent Silicon Valley venture capitalist. Other ex-Googlers named in the SEC document include Jonathan Ross, who helped invent the TPU, and Douglas Wightman, who worked on the Google X “moonshot factory.”

But that’s not all. “We have eight of the 10 original people that built that chip building the next generation chip now,” Palihapitiy said in a March interview with CNBC. Groq is playing its cards close to the vest, and isn’t disclosing exactly what it’s working on—although by all indications, it would appear to have something to do with machine learning chips.

There are many other groups chasing this new market opportunity, including traditional chip bigwigs Intel and IBM.

While Big Blue pushes a combination of its RISC Power chips and NVidia GPUs in its Minsky AI server, its research arm is exploring other chip architectures. Most recently, the company’s Almaden Lab has discussed the capabilities of its “brain-inspired” TrueNorth chip, which features 1 million neurons and 256 million synapses. IBM says TrueNorth has delivered “deep networks that approach state-of-the-art classification accuracy” on several vision and speech datasets.

“The goal of brain-inspired computing is to deliver a scalable neural network substrate while approaching fundamental limits of time, space, and energy,” IBM Fellow Dharmendra Modha, chief scientist of Brain-inspired Computing at IBM Research, said in a blog post.

Intel isn’t standing still, and is developing its own chip architectures for next-generation AI workloads. Last year the company announced that its first AI-specific hardware, code-named “Lake Crest,” which is based on technology Intel acquired with $400-million acquisition of Nervana Systems, would debut in the first half of 2017. That is to be followed later this year with Knights Mill, the next iteration of its Xeon Phi co-processor architecture.

Google’s new Tensor Processing Unit (TPU)

CPUs and GPUs, move over. Thanks to recent revelations surrounding Google’s new Tensor Processing Unit (TPU), the computing world appears to be on the cusp of a new generation of chips designed specifically for deep learning workloads.

Google has been using its TPUs for the inference stage of a deep neural network since 2015. It credits the TPU for helping to bolster the effectiveness of various artificial intelligence workloads, including language translation and image recognition programs. It also says TPU helped power its widely reported victory in the game of Go.

While TPUs aren’t new to Google data centers, the company started talking about them publicly only recently. Earlier this month, the Alphabet subsidiary opened up about the TPU, which it called “our first machine learning chip,” in a blog post. The company also released a technical paper, titled “In-Datacenter Performance Analysis of a Tensor Processing Unit,” that details the design and performance characteristics of the TPU.

According to the paper, Google’s TPU was 15 to 30 times faster at inference than NVidia’s K80 GPU and Intel Haswell CPU in a Google benchmark test. On a performance per watt scale, the TPUs are 30 to 80 times more efficient than the CPU and GPU (with the caveat that these are older designs). You can read more details on the TPU comparisons over at HPCwire.

While Google has been mum on possible commercial ventures around the TPU, some recent developments indicate that Google itself may not be aiming to compete directly with traditional chip manufacturers. Last week CNBC reported that a group of the original Google engineers who designed the TPU recently left the Web giant to found their own company, called Groq.

Data centers tend to be relatively low on employment. Typical headquarters, manufacturing, or shared service operations can have between 200 and 1,000 jobs on site. By comparison, the number of jobs at a typical data center can be anywhere between five and 30.

How much electricity do data centers consume? Data centers switch on to AI

While the hyperscalers typically need 10-14kW per rack in existing data centers, this is likely to rise to 40-60kW for AI-ready racks equipped with resource-hungry GPUs. This means that overall consumption of data centers across the US is likely to reach 35GW by 2030, up from 17GW in 2022.

AI & Robots
Elon Musk — CEO of EV maker Tesla & rocket company SpaceX, founder of satellite venture Starlink, Neuro-technololgy company Neuralink, owner of X—the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Elon Musk predicts jobs will become ‘kinda like a hobby’: ‘The AI and robots will provide any goods and services you want’

Elon Musk is a notoriously hard worker. At present he’s the CEO of EV maker Tesla and rocket company SpaceX, founder of satellite venture Starlink and neurotechnololgy company Neuralink, and the owner of X—the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

But even Musk, who is well-known for sleeping on the floors of his factories in order to get the job done, believes careers will become something of an option in the future thanks to AI.

Musk, who is developing his own AI systems both at Tesla and through his 2023 startup xAI, has been vocal about the problems which advanced artificial intelligence could present.

But during an appearance at the VivaTech conference in Paris this week, Musk explained that his overall outlook on the technology is generally positive and could shift the future of work.

“In a benign scenario probably none of us will have a job,” he said. “But in that benign scenario there will be universal high income—not universal base income—[and] there will be no shortage of goods or services.”

Musk, currently worth $187 billion according to the Bloomberg Billionaire’s Index, added that he generally believes a “benign” scenario will arise out of the huge investment into artificial intelligence.

“I think the benign scenario is probably the most likely—probably 80% likely if you ask my opinion—the question will not be one of lacking goods or services,” he said. “Everyone will have access to as much in the way of goods and services as they would like.

“The question will really be one of meaning. If a computer and the robots can do everything better than you, does your life have meaning?”

Career impact

Whether or not employees are questioning the meaning of their lives remains to be seen—but they’re certainly considering how AI will impact their careers.

A PwC survey of more than 54,000 people last year found 13% of people believe they’ll be replaced by AI, while a further 18% said they thought the technology would mean they had to learn new skills they were not confident they were capable of mastering.

Overall, however, employees are upbeat about the supposedly revolutionary tech. A third of people said AI will help improve their efficiency at work, while 21% believed the tech will open up new career opportunities.

Musk’s take is that work will become more casual. Appearing via video link at the Paris conference, he added: “Long term… any job that somebody does will be optional. If you want to do a job as kinda like a hobby you can do a job but otherwise the AI and robots will provide any goods and services you want.”

The 52-year-old entrepreneur did not online when in the future he believes this outcome may become reality—so unfortunately for workers hoping to kick up their feet, it’s not time yet.

Flipside
Musk was one of the first names to appear on a letter penned by the Future of Life Institute last year calling for a pause in giant AI experiments, and has repeatedly warned about the governance and regulation needed to oversee the technology.

This week he again reiterated how if the scenario with AI turned bad, humanity would be in “deep trouble.”

Yet the South African-born entrepreneur had some reassurance for those worried they may be pushed out by their large language model counterparts: “There’s perhaps still a role for humans in that we give AI meaning.

“If you think of the way that our brain works we’ve got the limbic system which is our instincts, and our feelings—and the cortex which is thinking and planning. The cortex is constantly trying to make the limbic happy, so maybe that’s how it’ll be with AI. AI is trying to make the cortex happy to make the limbic system happy. Maybe we are what gives the AI meaning or purpose.”

Nvidia co-founder Jensen Huang:

Elon Musk earns praise from Nvidia co-founder Jensen Huang ahead of shareholder vote on pay package—‘Tesla is far ahead in self-driving cars’

By Christiaan Hetzner, 1 day ago
Fortune, a global media organization dedicated to helping its readers, viewers, and attendees.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang gave a ringing endorsement to Elon Musk’s Tesla—one of its most important clients.

Nvidia’s star founder Jensen Huang endorsed Tesla’s strategy for AI-enabled autonomous vehicles weeks ahead of a key vote that determines if CEO Elon Musk receives his record compensation.

Musk is all but betting the company on his recent pivot to AI, having quietly scuppered his vision of growing volumes more than tenfold to 20 million vehicles a year by 2030—as much as Toyota and Volkswagen sell combined.

“Tesla is far ahead in self-driving cars,” Huang attested to in an interview with Yahoo Finance uploaded to YouTube late last week.

The AI pivot is controversial since it moves Tesla further away from its stated mission of accelerating the global transition to sustainable transportation. And while Musk’s so-called “supervised Full Self-Driving” may be the best-known advanced driver assist system (ADAS) on the market, few customers saw the value of plunking down $15,000 for a system that would require them to babysit their car as it attempts to navigate city streets.

As a result, Musk’s been forced to slash the price back down to $8,000, the level it was when he first launched FSD beta in October 2020.

High quality endorsement
An endorsement from the likes of Huang, whose draw at developer conferences now fill entire stadiums, could go a long way in assuaging investor concerns he himself might have veered off course.

“The technology is really revolutionary and the work that they’re doing is incredible,” the Nvidia boss continued.

In a couple of weeks, shareholders are due to vote a second time on Musk’s record pay package—worth roughly $55 billion at the current stock price—after a Delaware court in January voided the original 2018 vote for procedural reasons related to the quality of Tesla’s governance.

With proxy advisors like Glass Lewis now recommending that investors vote against approving Musk’s pay, the outcome of the June 13 annual meeting is proving tighter than expected.

A vote of confidence in his new AI strategy from someone like Huang could boost his chances. Few businessmen are as respected as Huang, who founded Nvidia and managed its exponential growth over recent years thanks to a prescient bet on repurposing graphic processors to train AI models like OpenAI’s flagship GPT-4o.

Musk and Tesla gobbling up Nvidia AI chips at record pace.

Huang praised the twelfth and latest version of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) software, which abandoned the previous approach of hard-coding commands in computer language in favor of relying solely on an AI-enabled neural network.

“It learns from watching videos,” Huang said. “This technology is very similar to the technology of large language models, but it requires just an enormous training facility and the reason for that is because the data rate of video, the amount of data, is so, so high.”

That said, Huang also knows how important Tesla is as a client. Musk is a voracious customer of Nvidia’s AI training chips, more than doubling his compute capacity just in the first quarter over the final three months of last year.

During that period Tesla spent the staggering sum of $1 billion to build out its AI infrastructure, and that’s just the beginning. Tesla forecasts its compute capacity equivalent to 35,000 GPU clusters should hit 85,000 by year’s end, by which point it may have spent $10 billion.

To afford that kind of investment at a time when its core car business needs to keep offering margin-eroding incentives to keep sales from cratering, Musk is willing to go to almost any length to cut costs elsewhere.

He has already sacked thousands of employees, fired the team behind his industry-leading Supercharger network and scrapped plans to invest in all-new assembly lines for its a upcoming $25,000 entry model, now widely expected to be a Model 3 hatchback.

But if it helps Tesla hold onto its leadership in the EV industry—and make Musk $55 billion wealthier in the process—those sacrifices may not have been in vain.

PRESS RELEASE: October 18, 2021
Introducing the next generation of AirPods.

The new AirPods feature spatial audio and industry-leading sound, longer battery life, and an all-new design

The third-generation AirPods.

CUPERTINO, California
Apple announced the third generation of AirPods featuring spatial audio, delivering advanced features and a magical experience in a new contoured design.

By combining the power of the H1 chip with an Apple-designed acoustic system, the new AirPods use computational audio to deliver breakthrough sound with Adaptive EQ.

Users can enjoy spatial audio featuring Dolby Atmos in Apple Music, movies, and tv shows, along with dynamic head tracking, across Apple devices.

The new AirPods are resistant to sweat and water, and feature a force sensor for easy and intuitive control of music and phone calls.

The extended battery life enables up to six hours of listening time and up to 30 hours of total listening time with the convenient charging case.

“AirPods forever changed wireless headphones with their groundbreaking design, incredible sound, and magical experience,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “We are excited to introduce the next generation of AirPods, featuring unrivaled sound through Adaptive EQ and spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, along with seamless interaction between Apple devices — making the world’s best-selling headphones even better.”

All-New Design
The new design of AirPods is lightweight and contoured, sitting at just the right angle for comfort and to direct audio into the ear. For a more subtle appearance, the stem is shorter than the previous generation and features the same intuitive force sensor as AirPods Pro for media control.

The new AirPods are resistant to both sweat and water, with an IPX4 rating for both the earbuds and the charging case.
A woman wearing AirPods (3rd generation) in the rain.

The new AirPods are resistant to both sweat and water, with an IPX4 rating for both the earbuds and the case.

Breakthrough Audio Features
AirPods (3rd generation) build on the great sound quality that AirPods are known for, starting with a custom driver and a high dynamic range amplifier that together produce powerful bass with crisp, clean high frequencies.

The microphone is covered by an acoustic mesh to help reduce the sound of wind, so the speaker’s voice comes across distinctly on calls.

AirPods also feature AAC-ELD, a superior speech codec that offers full HD voice quality, providing clear, natural communication for FaceTime calls.

The new AirPods use computational audio to bring the breakthrough experiences that customers love on AirPods Pro and AirPods Max — like Adaptive EQ and spatial audio with dynamic head tracking — to even more people.

Pause playback of video: AirPods (3rd generation)
The powerful H1 chip combines with an Apple-designed acoustic system, and uses computational audio to deliver breakthrough sound with Adaptive EQ.

For an optimal listening experience with rich detail, the new AirPods feature Adaptive EQ that tunes sound in real time based on how AirPods fit in the user’s ear. An inward-facing microphone monitors for sound, and then Adaptive EQ, powered by computational audio, tunes the low and mid frequencies to account for what may be lost due to variances in fit.

Spatial audio creates a three-dimensional theater-like experience, placing sound virtually anywhere in space, and with Dolby Atmos, AirPods have never sounded better.

Users can also enjoy this multi-level experience with dynamic head tracking, so music, video, and even Group FaceTime calls feel more immersive than ever before. Using advanced spatial audio algorithms, and by applying directional audio filters to subtly adjust the frequencies that each ear receives, the new AirPods can place sound all around the user.

MacBook Air, iPad Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, and the new AirPods.

AirPods users can enjoy Dolby Atmos in Apple Music and spatial audio with dynamic head tracking across Apple devices.

Magical Experience
With one-touch setup that automatically pairs AirPods with other Apple devices, users can effortlessly enjoy music throughout the day.

Audio Sharing allows listeners to share the audio stream between two sets of AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max, while using iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV.

A new skin-detect sensor accurately discerns if AirPods are in the ear — versus in a pocket or on a table — and pauses playback when removed. To help with sound clarity, beamforming microphones block out ambient noise.

Immersive Travel

Immersive Travel XR Profile
23 May, Thursday
Version 9.0
3 PM

Immersive Travel is a form of tourism in which people focus on experiencing a Country, City or particular place by actively and meaningfully engaging with its History, People, Culture, Food and Environment.

Extended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term encapsulating Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and everything in between

Planning offering Participants (exclusively for subscribers, not general public). Immersive Travel XR for virtual and physical travel experiences.

Tesla’s with advanced driver assistance (ADS) vehicles with combined with Apple’s audio visual technologies and other hardware software and special Applications is planned for enhancing travel selection, during and after travel.

Apple Vision Pro brings a new era of spatial computing to Immersive Travel. A heightened sense of depth. For instance, when watching in 3D clips, even if the screen is still flat and some effects pop out. However, with spatial video, the images seem to come alive. It’s like almost immerse in the video and be a part of that world. Hope, making sense here, but honestly, it’s hard to put into words.

Incredible new experiences leverage spatial computing to customize travel videos, collaborate on 3D traveling, designs, deliver specialized training, and guide remote fieldwork in entirely new ways.

After recording a spatial video, can view it in three dimensions (3D) in the Photos app on Apple Vision Pro. Also view spatial videos in two dimensions (2D) and share them just like regular videos on any of your other Apple devices, other devices and share online.

Spatial Studio’s with XR technology, full support Immersive Travel for Participants benefitcial experiences.Spatial photos and videos look 3D on Apple Vision Pro, and appear 2D on other devices. Taking spatial videos on iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, and Apple’s Vision Pro goggles, can share them with Apple Vision Pro users to view on their device.

Immersive Film crews are planned, augmenting Freelancer filmmakers, for special photoshoot projects globally and highly-selective commissioned photo shoots for Preferred Providers and select others.

The immersion specialist will work with Apple’s Spatial recording devices. Recording, editing and publishing videos and still pictures. The Spatial Gallery will feature: live streaming, near-time and on-demand (recorded) content. Video sharing planned for social media channel streaming and downloading on smartphones, tablets, computers and headsets.

Spatial videos are stored using the MV-HEVC (Multi-View High-Efficiency Video Coding) format, which uses H. 265 compression to crunch this down to approximately 130MB per minute, including spatial audio.

Privacy and secure controls planned. Passcode protection offerings planned. Participatants, can keep private content private, while selective sharing with friends and family.

Special events hosted, co-hosted and other events globally are planned to be inclusive in P photoshoots.

YouTube supports spatial videos, including 3D, 180-degree, and 360-degree formats. This type of content has been part of YouTube’s, enabling viewers to experience more immersive videos when using compatible headsets or devices

The display system on Apple Vision Pro packs 23 million pixels across two displays — or more than 4K resolution for each eye — which makes videos, images, and documents crystal clear from any angle.

Apple Vision Pro’s screens are a whopping 3660 x 3200 pixels per eye. Although they haven’t made any official claims as to the FOV of the headset, 3rd party developers claim that it looks to be around 100° horizontal.

Capturing spatial video with Apple Vision Pro. Apple Vision Pro is a computer worn on face. Reportly, it must be worn to capture video or photos, so there’s no setting it up on a tripod and walking away.

The spatial video captured is in a square 1:1 format at 2200 pixels by 2200 pixels.

Spatial videos captured on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are recorded at 1080p at 30 fps in SDR. One minute of spatial video is approximately 130 MB (one minute of regular 1080p 30 fps video is approximately 65 MB).

Apple claims that spatial video is more immersive and realistic than 3D video, but some people have challenged that claim and said that spatial video is just a fancy name for 3D video.

Fully supporting Robo-taxing with enhanced experiences by technologies for entertainment and productivity. Also fully supported: robo-teching and Robo-Culinaring for food and drinks during Immersive Travel XR experiences.

Immersive Video—180-degree 8K recordings, captured with Spatial Audio with Apple’s Vision Pro Smart-goggles. Independent freelance filmmaking and private storytelling with still pictures (selected from High-resolution video footage) and video clips provided sharing and captured memories for a lifetime.

Scalability of videos achieved with individuals globally sharing. Enable Spatial Video Capture on iPhone with millions of users worldwide travel videos become available.

Once spatial video capture is enabled in Settings, users can leverage the advanced camera systems on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max to capture moments in three dimensions (3D).

Spatial videos are captured in 1080p at 30 frames per second in standard dynamic range on the iPhones. Apple’s Vision Pro goggles

Spatial Safety included for participants offered Executive Protection, safety and security for everyone involved.

Spatial News Network (SNN) related enterprise, involvement planned. Expecting special enhanced access to place and events with Media Credentials.

propane tanks considered hazardous materials?

A propane tank is pressurized and can explode or start a fire if it’s not entirely empty. Propane can also be damaging to your health, so any tank that is not empty must be disposed of as hazardous waste.

Also, the current food trucks, are significant higher than a Tesla Cybertruck.

The Tesla Cybertruck is 70.5 inches tall, though the height can change slightly depending on the air suspension model. The Cybertruck has an entry/exit air setting that makes it 68.54 inches tall, and a low air setting that makes it 69.13 inches tall. In Extract Mode,

Planning on fixed Tesla Roof rack with Tesla Powerwalls (laying flat) Powerwall, is roughly 43 inches tall, 24 inches wide, and 8 inches deep, the Powerwall 3’s compact profile combined with indoor and outdoor use capabilities, offers flexible usage and mounting options.

Knowing the maximum vertical clearance of a parking garage is essential before driving a truck into it. Otherwise, may end-up slamming , the truck’s rack, light bar or roof into an overhead structure, pipe, or duct, causing severe damage to the vehicle and the property. If this happens, the damages may exceed the coverage limits of your insurance policy.

Maximum height limits can vary from one parking garage to another. But the floor-to-floor heights in parking garages typically range from 10 to 12 feet.

Overhead clearance heights must follow local buildings and accessibility codes.

They’re generally 7 feet (84 inches) for ordinary parking spaces and 8 feet 2 inches (98.4 inches) for van-accessible spaces.

Some parking garages have height limits below 7 feet, which can be concerning ifor truck. Of course, you’ll also come across facilities with over 7 feet of maximum clearance.

Tesla Cybertruck’s with it’s aquatic capabilities, Advanced Driving Systems (ADS) combined with other strategically vertically integrated components by Elon and others, enables futuristic benefits for Robo-Culinaring.

Disrupting the food industry industry, as a powerful force for positive change that challenges conventional wisdom, breaks down barriers, and revolutionises the way businesses operate.

In business, a disruptor is a person, company, or technology that can cause significant change in an industry or market through innovation.

Disruptors can have innovative technologies or operations that are more efficient or make the old way of doing business obsolete.

For example, Uber displaces taxicabs, and Apple’s iPhone and ecosystem create a brand ecosystem that includes laptops, tablets, phones, smartwatches, and Apple TV+.

Disruption by the disruptor Elon Musk.

From Energy To Transport To Healthcare, many industries are being Disrupted By Elon Musk and His Companies

Elon Musk is CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has plans to colonize Mars, and thinks AI may turn humans into its pets. But beyond the hype and his enormous net worth and Twitter presence, Musk’s companies are actually taking on… virtually every industry.

Elon Musk thinks and acts on a larger, more cosmic scale than we’re accustomed to from entrepreneurs. Elon Musk has become a household name synonymous with the future.

Whether he’s working on electric vehicles (Tesla) or sending rockets into space (SpaceX), his larger-than-life reputation attracts its fair share of hero-worship. Musk can get a hundred breathless reporters to write about him and his companies with little more than a concept drawing and a tweet.

Take a different kind of look into the Musk ecosystem.

Rather than assess Elon Musk and his companies on promises and hype, look at the ways in which his companies are or are not transforming the industries in which they live — with numbers, hard evidence, and concrete demonstrations of disruption.

Look at different industries where Musk and his companies operate to understand how they have begun to change:

Energy: according to a utilities lobbying group, Musk’s efforts with Tesla and SolarCity could “lay waste to US power utilities and burn the utility business model.”

Automotive: Musk wants Teslas to not just be affordable — he wants them to do something strange: make money for their owners. They’d do this through next-generation AI and self-driving technology. Investigating how he’s making it happen.

Telecommunications: While few realize it, Musk’s work in space could revolutionize how we get online, and provide fast, affordable internet for the 4+ billion without access today.

Transportation: We dig into how the Hyperloop, Musk’s proposed “fifth mode of transportation” that’s a “cross between a Concorde and an air hockey table,” plans to cut down the 6-hour trip from DC to New York to 30 minutes
Infrastructure/Tunneling: Llook at how Musk’s “Boring” Company is trying to cut costs in the notoriously expensive tunneling industry, where a mile of tunnel costs $1B to dig and each additional inch in diameter costs millions more.

Aerospace/Airlines: SpaceX plans to build a “freeway” to Mars by reducing the cost of flying a space shuttle to a fraction of what it is today, not to mention harness rocket technology for earth travel as a well, so that a “spaceflight” trip from London to Hong Kong is similarly priced to a regular flight from London to Hong Kong.

AI: investigate why Musk, who is certain that the race for AI superiority is the “most likely cause” of WWIII, is investing so much of his time into building better AI.

Healthcare: dig into the high-bandwidth, minimally invasive brain machine interfaces that Neuralink is developing to create futuristic humans.

A deep dive into just how the money, invention, and ingenuity of Elon Musk and his companies are transforming these vital industries.

Tesla’s Cybertruck’s and other new energy Vehicles (electric vehicles -EVs) planned with third-party equipment and devices planned for supporting Robo-Culinaring.

TeslaBot, and energy storage products and SpaceX Starlink space satellite connection technologies are planned.

Apple’s audio visual and communication products included in the Robo-Culinaring offerings.

Table’s and Chairs, including chairs with table attached planned. Gondola’s, Dome’s and other comfort considerations included.

Supporting information:

A farmer is a person who runs and works on a farm. Some farmers raise a variety of food crops, while others keep dairy cows and sell their milk. Farmers work in some aspect of agriculture, growing vegetables, grains, or fruit; or raising animals for milk, eggs, or meat.

What’s the difference between farmer and rancher? Ranchers raise livestock. They know livestock breeds, animal husbandry and stocking rates. A farmer will own tractors, plows, spray rigs and combines.

BUTCHER meaning: someone who cuts and sells meat and someone prepares meat to be eaten.

A baker is a tradesperson who bakes and sometimes sells breads and other products made of flour by using an oven or other concentrated heat source. The place where a baker works is called a bakery.

A fishmonger is someone who sells raw fish and seafood. Fishmongers can be wholesalers or retailers and are trained at selecting and purchasing, handling, …

Food provides basic sustenance, but it can accomplish so much more. Mealtime gives us the chance to enjoy a respite from our busy lives as we build powerful connections and treat ourselves to new experiences. Meanwhile, we can broaden our horizons, exploring different cultures and concepts from the comfort of a dining table.

It takes a great deal of inspiration and effort to cultivate memorable culinary experiences. It’s easy, then, to see why culinary artists are so esteemed in modern society. Below, we’ll explain what this concept entails, how it’s evolved, and what it now takes to master the culinary arts.

WHAT DOES CULINARY ARTS MEAN?
A true culinary arts meaning can be difficult to convey, in part, because the concept is so vast. This term encompasses everything to do with food: how it’s prepared, plated, and served — and how it’s enjoyed.

At first glance, this process might appear to resemble an elevated take on cooking. However, there is so much more to culinary art. Essential components include nutrition, flavor, and presentation, with the goal of creating an immersive experience that delights not only the palate but all the other senses as well. Done right, this type of culinary experience can prove transformative.

Culinary art is also an intriguing academic and professional pursuit. Chefs and culinarians train for years, developing a deep-seated understanding of food science and an ability to handle a seemingly endless array of tools and techniques. From mixing methods to knife skills and even culinary math, a blend of broad, foundational knowledge and targeted skills underscore today’s most exquisite culinary creations.

Robo-” is a combining form that means “automated, automatic, or robotic”. It is used to form compound words, such as “robo-adviser” or “robo-trading”.

Simple definition of cuisine?
Cuisine is a type of food that is cooked in a specific way based on a culture’s ingredients, region, and traditions.

The difference between food and cuisine? Many have explained the difference between food and cuisine. “Food is a meal, a cuisine is a wider range of experiences and local, fresh ingredients that blend the diverse taste to give a unique flavor,”

Robo means it’s: automated, automatic, and robotic. Offering a wider range of experiences and robo-taxing pickup and delivery of fresh ingredients that blend the diverse taste to give a unique flavor, with robo-teching.

Healthy food and drinks anywhere and anytime. Availability by Robo-taxing, Robo-teching and other methods.

Precise temperature control (within about 2°). Temperature is monitored remotely with precautions for food safety and other purposes, about food and beverages is achieved with advanced technologies mobile portable focusing.

57 Trillion squares, with third-party Application.
Whether coordinating a delivery of medical supplies to a remote refugee camp, showing-up at a prearranged rendezvous with star-crossed lover, or just waiting for that pad that was ordered to arrive, communicating accurate location information is critical.

But in many places—in the middle of a wilderness area, for instance, or the twisty maze-like backstreets of a North African medina—street addresses are either nonexistent or just not particularly useful.

The British startup what3words has come up with a new simple way to describe location anywhere in the world. The company’s algorithm has divided the surface of the world into 3 meter-by-3 meter (a little less than 10 feet) squares. Small enough to be useful, but large enough so that it doesn’t give you an unfeasible number. Each of the 57 trillion squares has been assigned a three-word address. So the table at a Washington, D.C., coffee shop is located in a square called “basis.laws.slice.”

The center of the Eiffel Tower is “graphics.dad.inched.” The system is currently available in 10 languages with more to come. (These addresses aren’t translations between the available languages. In Swahili, my table is at “kaskazini.ncha.mchanga,” which translates to “north.tip.sand.”)

The addresses assigned by the algorithm are permanent, so you don’t need Wi-Fi access to use it, though presumably you might need it to tell other people where you are. Removed, “offensive words,” which is probably wise given what’s happened with some other mapping programs. Longer, more complicated words tend to be located in more remote areas and in the ocean.

The idea came about thanks to CEO Chris Sheldrick’s former career organizing large outdoor concerts, when he found that musicians, vendors, and technical crews were constantly getting lost. At one point a band scheduled to play an outdoor show on a hillside in Rome did its soundcheck on the wrong hillside.

Nutrition the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth. The branch of science that deals with nutrients and nutrition, particularly in humans.

Planning on using “X” for nutrition offerings.

What does x stand for? The letter x often symbolizes something unknown, with an air of mystery that can be appealing—just look at Elon Musk with SpaceX, Tesla’s Model X, and now X as a new name for Twitter.

Forget the grocery stores and traditional restaurants

Traceability is the capability to trace something. In some cases, it is interpreted as the ability to verify the history, location, or application of an item by means of documented recorded identification.

Planning complete Traceability of all participants consumables.

Consumables are goods that are used up or depleted during normal business operations, such as food and beverage, office supplies, cleaning and sanitary products, and medical supplies.

Everyday, everything consumed by participants is offered and conveniently made available.

Healthy lifestyle considers 100% of participants consumptions. Everyday, everything is tracked, recorded and reported to support teams. Nutritionist and others focus upon the nutrients and ingredients consumed by the participants.

Nutrient scientific testing planned.

Inspiration from: Patrick O’Connell an American chef and proprietor of the Inn at Little Washington, a country inn and restaurant in the town of Washington, Virginia.

Patrick O’Connell is a self-taught chef who pioneered a regional American cuisine in a tiny Virginia village 67 miles west of Washington DC. His alliance with local farmers and artisanal producers was an adaptation born of necessity more than 40 years ago when nothing but milk was delivered to the town of “Little Washington”, VA (pop. 133). O’Connell, a native of Washington DC opened The Inn at Little Washington in 1978 in a former garage on the corner of Main and Middle Streets.

It has evolved from a simple country inn to an international culinary shrine. Chef O’Connell is now referred to as “the Pope of American cuisine.”

Selecting The Inn at Little Washington as one of the top ten restaurants in the world, Patricia Wells of The International Herald Tribune hails O’Connell as “a rare chef with a sense of near perfect taste, like a musician with perfect pitch.”

Patrick and The Inn have enjoyed enormous national and international recognition. He is the author of three books. Governor Mark Warner has stated that “Not since Thomas Jefferson first brought tomatoes to Virginia and the New World has one man created such interest in the culinary arts.”

O’Connell was asked to cook for Queen Elizabeth at the Governor’s Mansion in Richmond on her visit to Virginia in 2007.

Through Relais & Chateaux, he staged a dinner celebrating the coming of age of American Cuisine in Paris and participated along with Alice Waters, Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, and Charlie Trotter in the “American Food Revolution” in Oxford, England.

He has appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, the CBS Early Show, the Martha Stewart Show, Top Chef, the Diane Rehm Show, the Charlie Rose Show and is a frequent guest speaker at The Smithsonian Institution and The Culinary Institute of America.

You’ll Have Loads Of Fun At Pick-Your-Own Fruit Farms

One of the best parts about a healthy lifestyle is all of the fresh fruit, particularly during the growing season in Maryland. And the best way to enjoy this fresh fruit? A visit to a pick-your-own-fruit farm. Here, can enjoy a delightful day trip and some of the freshest and sweetest produce around. Check out local farms where you can pick your own strawberries, blueberries, peaches, and more. There’s no better way to kick+off growing seasons.

Background —
Patrick O’Connell, proprietor and restauranteur of The Inn at Little Washington, reported to be one of the top ten restaurants in the world.

How much does a meal at The Inn at Little Washington cost? A five-course tasting menu with plenty of extras costs $228 per person (and $238 per person on Saturday nights).

Patrick O’Connell is often referred to as the Pope of American Cuisine. He is one of the pioneers in our country’s culinary evolution over the last quarter century.

Patrick O’Connell, a native of Washington, DC, is a self-taught chef who pioneered a refined, regional American cuisine in the Virginia countryside. His alliance with local farmers and artisanal producers was an adaptation born of necessity more than 30 years ago when nothing but milk was delivered to the tiny town of “Little” Washington, VA (pop. 158).

Long before the farm to table movement had a name, he began cultivating fruitful relationships with his neighbors — many of whom have a strong connection to the land and a heritage of self sufficiency.

O’Connell has been referred to as “the Pope of American Cuisine”. His orientation is different from most chefs today primarily because he considers himself to be a restaurateur and as the title implies, his goal is to actually restore and heal people – the preparation and presentation of food being but a single element in the process.

Selecting The Inn at Little Washington as one of the top ten restaurants in the world, Patricia Wells of The International Herald Tribune hails O’Connell as “a rare chef with a sense of near perfect taste, like a musician with perfect pitch.”

Both O’Connell and The Inn at Little Washington have enjoyed enormous national and international recognition. The Inn became America’s first 5 Star country house hotel and the first establishment in the Mobil Travel Guide’s history to ever receive two 5 Star Awards-one for its restaurant, the other for its accommodations.

The Inn also received AAA’s highest accolades: two 5 Diamond Awards and is rated number one in all categories year after year by the Washington D.C. Zagat Restaurant Survey.

O’Connell and The Inn have won five awards from the James Beard Foundation including Restaurant of the Year in 1993, Best Chef in the Mid-Atlantic Region and the prestigious Outstanding American Chef Award for 2001.

O’Connell was one of the original inductees into “Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America” and is the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate Degree in the Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University.

Selecting The Inn at Little Washington as one of the top ten restaurants in the world, Patricia Wells hails O’Connell as “a rare chef with a sense of near-perfect taste, like a musician with perfect pitch.” As a self-taught chef who learned to cook by reading cookbooks, he has a unique ability to write recipes that are easy to follow and that produce delicious results.

In this groundbreaking work, O’Connell celebrates the coming-of-age of American cooking and illustrates that we at last have our own equivalent to the haute cuisine of the great chefs of Europe. He manages to demonstrate that reproducing his versions of refined American cuisine is not only surprisingly doable but often easier than replicating the classic
American dishes we grew up with.

O’Connell offers vastly refined versions of his favorite American food: Macaroni and Cheese with Virginia Country Ham, Wild Mushroom Pizza, Crab Cake “Sandwich” with Fried Green Tomatoes, Pan-Roasted Maine Lobster with Rosemary Cream, Veal Medallions with Country Ham Ravioli, and Warm Plum Torte with Sweet Corn Ice Cream. All the recipes use readily available ingredients and are written in a clear, easy-to-follow voice – the voice of a self-taught chef who wants to share his love of food and hard-earned expertise.

But even more refreshing than the delectable recipes are O’Connell’s musings on his upbringing, American food, and entertaining. Reading this warm, witty book is the next best thing to dining at The Inn at Little Washington. Cooking from it is even better!

Planning Robo-teching for Participants (Subscribers) with the benefits of Tesla Bots.

The Tesla Humanoid’s are exspected to be potentially amazingly beneficial for individuals, small business, and others exspecialy for benefiting humanity potentially.

Robo-means “automated, automatic, or robotic”. Apple’s products and others for Audio Visual (AV) are planned, including for Spatial three-dimensional – 3D) video sound and imagery. Special camera mounting equipment (Third-party) with unlimited automated, automatic, or robotic motion are planned. The CineBot have fixed pedestals, dollies and planning mounting on track-rovers.

Humanoid’s for robo-teching planned for construction equipment, recreational vehicles (RVs) and others. Compact Track Loaders (CTLs) operating robotically and remote control is planned, with many attachments: forklift, buckets facilitate movement of large heavy objects. Robo-teching operating RVs, enables increased accessibility for people, robots and high-tech equipment.

Cadre of Robots, description: a nucleus, core group especially of trained robots with some supportive sometimes, human personnel able to assume control and to train others. Broadly: a group of robots/people having some unifying relationship. A cadre of lawyers (planned) a cadre of robotic technicians, planned.
Tesla Cybertruck’s with shallow water capabilities, planned for transporting everything and supporting new capabilities.

The cadre is a small group of robots/people who have been specially chosen, trained, and organized for a particular purpose. …an elite cadre of international managers.

A cadre is a group of specially trained robots/people prepared to lead or instruct others. Examples could be a security unit, a group of scientists, or a band of healthcare workers. Just looking at the “re” at the end of the cadre suggests the word has some French roots, and so it does.

Tesla vehicles and bots provided a carde of pre-positioned robotic, automated and automatic solutions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year anywhere, anytime, safely by our enterprises including for-profit and nonprofit philanthropist supported missions.

The Roboticing planning includes accessable to Tesla Bots, Tesla Humanoid’s (Tesla Robots). Renting, leasing, including mini-leasing and purchasing planned for Robo-teching.

Musk: Robots to be bigger business than Tesla cars – BBC News. He told investors on a Tesla earnings call his nascent robot plans had “the potential to be more significant than the vehicle business, over time”.

Mr. Musk told investors the humanoid robot’s first application would be at a Tesla plant “moving parts around the factory, or something like that”.

But in the future, he sees it helping solve labour shortages. He tweeted: “Tesla AI might play a role in AGI [artificial general intelligence], given that it trains against the outside world, especially with the advent of Optimus”.

AGI refers to the ability of a machine to learn or understand tasks currently performed by humans.

Robots are increasingly used in factories around the world, with a current average of 126 robots per 10,000 employees in the manufacturing industry, according to the International Federation of Robotics.

Scalability refers to the ability of an organization (or a system, such as a computer network) to perform well under an increased or expanding workload. Scaling is important, Tesla manufacturing is critically beneficial.

Tesla products have “highly scalable” it’s important for services, device or application can handle a large increase in users, workload or transactions without undue strain.

“Tesla cars are robots – but they are a much simpler form, so this will be starting from scratch,” Professors have stated.

Elon Musk says Tesla Optimus robot should cost ‘less than half of a car’ Complexity per unit mass is much higher with humanoid robots, but still I think it ends up costing less than half of a car — Elon Musk
March 26, 2024

Tesla’s average car sale price globally last year was just over $45,000 and the average new car sale price in the US is about $47,000.

This means that Musk sees the cost of a humanoid robot as being between $20,000 and $25,000.

There’s no clear timeline for Tesla to bring the robot to production.

Critical emergency situations especially in hesitations are planned for Roboticing.. Transportation of Bots is planned with Robo-taxing, in Tesla Cybertruck’s. Customized configurations planned featuring energy storage for charging, space satellite communication and more.

Planning on Cybertruck with racks supporting: projects/missions, supporting performing assignments and tasks.

Reportedly, Tesla is using the same visual technologies used on Tesla vehicles for full self driving (FSD).cross-purposing proven, tested and advanced technologies is brilliant.

According to Musk, the robot could be commercially available by the end of 2025. This news comes as several companies are vying for a lead in the humanoid robot market. Tesla unveiled the first generation of Optimus, nicknamed Bumblebee, in September 2022.
April 25, 2024

Tesla Bot (Optimus Humanoid)
Manufacturer: Tesla, Inc.
Year of creation: 2022; (2 years ago)
Type: Humanoid
Purpose: General-purpose

Optimus, also known as Tesla Bot, is a general-purpose robotic humanoid under development by Tesla, Inc.

It was announced at the company’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Day event on August 19, 2021, and a prototype was shown in 2022.

CEO Elon that he thinks Optimus “has the potential to be more significant than [Tesla’s] vehicle business over time.”

Tesla unveiled “Optimus Gen 2”, a new generation of its humanoid robot that should be able to take over repetitive tasks from humans.

The new prototype showed a lot of improvements compared to previously.

Tesla believed it to be possible by leveraging its AI work on its self-driving vehicle program and expertise in batteries and electric motors. It argued that its vehicles are already robots on wheels. Now, it just needs to make them in humanoid forms to be able to replace humans in some tasks – primarily repetitive and dangerous tasks.

In a previous update on Optimus, Tesla CEO Elon Musk claimed that the “Optimus stuff is extremely underrated.” The CEO said that the demand could be as high as 10 to 20 billion units.

He went as far as “confidently predicting” that Optimus will account for “a majority of Tesla’s long-term value.”

The CEO sees everyone having a Tesla Optimus robot at home on top of them taking over a lot of manufacturing and service jobs.

Musk had previously said that he thinks it’s possible to bring the price below that of its vehicles, which start at around $40,000.

Now, Musk says that he believes Tesla can bring the price of its Optimus humanoid robot down to “less than half of a car”:

Food by Robo-taxing & Robo-teching

Do you know how thousands of tons of vegetables and fruits in the US are harvested? Every year, hundreds of thousands of farm workers come …

The US fruit and vegetable industry has been facing a labor shortage, with farm wages increasing faster than non-farm wages. In 2021, around 70% of fresh produce growers and manufacturers had difficulty recruiting seasonal staff. As a result, 40% of respondents to a survey reported crop losses and 56% reported a 19% reduction in production.

Responding to labor shortages, growers are opting to reduce production or switch to crops that require less labor. Marketers of fresh fruit and vegetables are increasing imports, and larger firms are establishing production facilities overseas.

Why is there a shortage of agricultural workers? Expensive initial investment and cost of machinery. Up and down nature of commodity crop pricing. Unequal work-life balance. Increased access to education and better job opportunities reduce the number of “unskilled laborers.”

Fisher, all other fresh food supplies improved efficiency with adoption of new technologies, including year-round indoor growing with new energy techniques and technologies.

Freezing food is energy intensive and destructive to nutritional value.

Reduction of food deserts for impoverished people can be improved with adoption of.Robo Taxing including with trucks for handling increased weight and Robo-Teching.

Farm-to-Table national and International can occur with the application of artificial intelligence (AI) equipped devices and adoption of new methods of everything. Unlimited new opportunities for humans benefitcial for humanity.

Healthy eating benefitcial for individuals and society. Less healthcare cost, benefitcial lifestyle.

Planning on enabling and supporting “Pick-Your-Own” with round trip ground transportation. Shared kitchens supporting individuals cooking and baking fresh food for healthy nutritional eating.

Tesla Autopilot and Full Self-Driving Capability
Autopilot is an advanced driver assistance system that enhances safety and convenience behind the wheel.

When used properly, Autopilot reduces the overall workload as a driver. Each new Tesla vehicle is equipped with multiple external cameras and powerful vision processing to provide an additional layer of safety. All vehicles built for the North American market now use camera-based Tesla Vision to deliver Autopilot features, rather than radar.

Autopilot comes standard on every new Tesla. For owners who took delivery of their vehicle without Autopilot, there are multiple packages available for purchase, depending when the vehicle was built: Autopilot and Full Self-Driving capabilities varies

Autopilot and Full Self-Driving capability are intended for use with a fully attentive driver, who has their hands on the wheel and is prepared to take over at any moment. While these features are designed to become more capable over time, the currently enabled features do not make the vehicle autonomous.

Planning on the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) operating apart of the Department of Transportation (DOT) and other agencies operating Administration of the United States.

Musk posted on X that the Tesla robotaxi will be unveiled on Aug. 8, 2024. In the earnings report, Tesla said the robotaxi will be “purpose built,” which is a term used in the autonomous vehicle industry to describe vehicles built from the ground up to be self-driving and that often lack traditional controls like steering wheels and pedals.

Additionally, “Elon Musk wants to turn Tesla’s fleet into AWS for AI. That’s 100 gigawatts of inference compute, distributed all around the world Musk said.”

Vehicles for Compute (distributed inference)
possibly for sharing like a Data center. It’s believed that Tesla (Elon) is
working closely with Nvidia (Jensen Huang).

NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang went from working at Denny’s to nearly eclipsing Elon Musk.

A single H100 you can hold on your hand costs the around the same as an entire Tesla model 3. Cost to produce doesn’t matter. The reason these things are so expensive is demand and the limited capacity of fabs to produce them.

Set to launch in Q2 2024 amid H100 shortages, the H200 is compatible with existing setups, but its pricing is still under wraps (but estimated to be $40,000 each). This release could either mitigate the ongoing GPU shortage or intensify the competition for high-powered GPUs in the AI sector.

The NVIDIA H200 GPU is the next eagerly anticipated release in AI. Nvidia has showcased some remarkable specs of the H200, boasting nearly twice the memory capacity of its predecessor, the H100. Both GPUs are built on the powerful Hopper architecture enhanced for larger AI and HPC workloads.

The unused compute power of of idle Tesla vehicles to Amazon’s cloud service business. If they’re just sitting there, he mused, why not put them to good use to run AI models?

“There’s a potential, when the car is not moving to actually run distributed inference,” Musk said. “If you imagine the future perhaps where there’s a fleet of 100 million Teslas and on average, they’ve got like maybe a kilowatt of inference compute. That’s 100 gigawatts of inference compute, distributed all around the world.”

So, to summarize, you buy a Tesla. It can be used for ride sharing in inference compute paying a fee to the owner, to you It’s your property. Musk recommends use the unused compute power in the vehicle for… something Possibly AI-related, benefitcial financially and otherwise for benefiting humanity possibly.

Depending on the demand curve for taxi services to be such that if you lower the prices significantly (which can be done by removing the need for paying a human driver) that the demand will be orders of magnitude higher.

Potentially, the case: if the cost was low enough that it saved money compared to owning a car.

Tesla vehicles, offer preconditioning and maintaining, the passenger cabin climate, robo-taxing usage is planned. In-motion and/or when stationary climate controlled comfortably is technically achieved.

Tesla recommends activating climate settings at least 30-45 minutes before departure (see Operating Climate Controls). Preconditioning times depend on outside temperature and other factors. The mobile app will provide notifications once the vehicle has reached the desire preconditioning temperature

Tesla has released a new ‘Standby mode’ to make its new Enhanced Summon, which lets summon cars autonomously in parking lots, faster.Tesla pushed the new ‘Standby mode’ in its 2019.20. 4.5 software update as it is slowly rolling out its new Enhanced Summon feature.

Tesla Camp mode allows occupants to power electronics through the USB ports and low voltage outlet. In addition to maintaining the cabin temperature.

iPad Pro (2024) review: So very nice, Apple spared no expense with the new iPad Pro

With some sections and senses deleted and some reductions:

It hasn’t even been released yet, but Apple’s new iPad Pro is probably one of the most divisive devices the company has made in years. On the one hand, it’s an undeniable feat of engineering. Apple squeezed a new M4 chip and “tandem” OLED panel into a tablet that’s somehow thinner and lighter than the one it replaces.

13-inch model costs $1,299 and that’s without a $299 or $349 Magic Keyboard and a $129 Pencil Pro. A 13-inch system with 1TB of storage and 5G, which costs $2,099

The iPad Pro has always felt like Apple flexing its muscles, showing off an absurdly powerful and portable vision of tablet computing that’s overkill for almost everyone, and that’s more true than ever.

The e iPad Pro is an engineering marvel with a dual-layer OLED screen and a brand-new M4 chip.

Hardware
If you stare at the iPad Pro M4 head-on, you won’t notice any difference between it and the previous model. The display still makes up the vast majority of the front, with thin, equally sized bezels surrounding it. The Face ID camera is now on the landscape edge (a great change that Apple first brought to the basic iPad in late 2022), but it’s basically invisible to the eye — no notch for the Pro.

The specs of both the front- and back-facing cameras are unchanged; both are 12-megapixel sensors. Somewhat surprisingly, Apple removed the ultra-wide camera from the back, leaving it with a single standard camera alongside the LiDAR sensor and redesigned True Tone flash. That’s fine by me, as the standard lens is just fine for most things you’ll want out of an iPad camera. Its video capabilities are still robust, with support for ProRes video recording and 4K at a variety of frame rates.

Meanwhile, the front-facing camera on the landscape edge of the tablet means you can actually do video calls when the iPad is in its keyboard dock and not look ridiculous. I generally avoided doing video calls iPad Pro and all the feedback received is that the video quality is solid if not spectacular.

FaceTime or Google Meet with the iPad Pro now that the camera position is no longer an issue.

The new iPad Pro has a OLED display. Specifically, Apple calls it a “tandem OLED” display, which means that you’re actually looking at two OLED panels layered on top of each other. The screen resolution is essentially the same as the old iPad Pro (2,752 x 2,064, 264 pixels per inch), but a number of other key specs have improved.

It now features a 2,000,000-to-1 contrast ratio, one of the things OLED is best known for — blacks are literal darkness, as the pixels don’t emit any light.

The OLED enables more brightness and improved HDR performance — standard screen brightness is up to 1,000 nits, compared to 600 nits for the last model. As before, though, HDR content maxes out at 1,600 nits.

The screen have all the high-end features, including the ProMotion variable refresh rate (up to 120hz), fingerprint-resistant and antireflective coatings, True Tone color temperature adjustment, support for the P3 wide color gamut and full lamination.

Specifically, ProMotion is saved for the Pro line. And Apple added a nano-texture glass option for the 1TB and 2TB models to further reduce glare, a good option when working in bright sunlight. Between that and the improved brightness, the tablet are well-suited to working in difficult lighting conditions.

The 1TB and 2TB iPad Pros have an M4 with four performance cores, six efficiency cores, a 10-core GPU and 16GB of RAM.

Interestingly, even Apple’s own apps don’t quite know what to do all with new M4 chip increased capabilities, either. When the company briefed the press last week, it showed off new versions of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for the iPad, both of which had some impressive additions.

Final Cut Pro is getting a live multicam feature that lets wirelessly sync multiple iPhones or iPads to one master device and record and direct all of them simultaneously.

Logic Pro, meanwhile, has some new AI-generated “session players” that can create realistic backing tracks to play or sing over.

As apps get even more complex, the iPad Pro should be able to make short work of them. That includes AI, of course — the M4’s neural engine is capable of 38 trillion operations per second, a massive upgrade over the 18 trillion number quoted for the M3.

Unsurprisingly, the iPad Pro M4’s Geekbench CPU scores of 3,709 (single-core), 14,680 (multi-core) and 53,510 (GPU) significantly eclipse those of the M2 iPad Air (2,621 / 10,058 / 41,950). In reality, though, both of these tablets will churn through basically anything throw at them.

Time is important and having faster video rendering or editing matters, or work with a lot of apps that rely heavily on machine learning, the M4 should shave precious seconds or minutes out of workflow, which will add up significantly over time.

Apple has two new accessories for the iPad Pro: a new keyboard and the Pencil Pro.

The good news is that the new Magic Keyboard is definitively better than the old one in a number of ways. First off, it’s thinner and lighter than before, which makes a huge difference in how the whole package feels.

The base of the Magic Keyboard is now made of aluminum, which makes the typing experience more like what you’ll find on a MacBook. The keys are all about the same size as before, and typing on it remains extremely comfortable. If you’re familiar with the keyboards on Apple’s laptops, you’ll feel right at home here. Apple also made the trackpad bigger and added a function row of keys, both of which make the overall experience of navigating and using iPadOS much better.

The trackpad also now has no moving parts and instead relies on haptic feedback, similar to the MacBook trackpads. Every click is accompanied by a haptic that truly tricks me into thinking the trackpad moves, and small vibrations accompany other actions as well. For example, when I swipe up and hold to enter multitasking, there’s a haptic that confirms the gesture is recognized. Third-party developers will be able to add haptic trackpad feedback to their apps, as well.

Between the improved layout and thinner design, the Magic Keyboard is essential gear, extremely well-made and thoughtfully designed.

the new Apple! Pencil Pro is a notable upgrade over the model it replaces, which was already excellent. As before, it magnetically attaches to the side of the iPad Pro for charging and storage, something that remains an elegant solution.

The Apple Pencil Pro does everything the second-gen Apple Pencil does and has some new tricks to boot. One is Squeeze, which by default brings up the brush picker interface in apps like Notes and Freeform. It’s a quick and smart way to scrub through different options, and it’s open to third-party developers to use as they wish in their own apps.

The Pencil Pro isn’t too sensitive to the Squeeze gestures. The new Pencil also has a gyroscope, which lets it recognize rotation gestures — this means: “turn” virtual brush as you paint, giving it another layer of realism. Between tilt, pressure and now rotation sensitivity, the Pencil Pro is even better at capturing.

Apple also added haptic feedback, so when you squeeze the Pencil you’ll get a vibration to confirm the action. It’s also used in a great new “undo” menu: squeeze the Pencil and then tap and hold on the back button, you can then quickly scrub through and undo everything you’ve written, step-by-step. This history makes it easy to take some risks while working on something and then quickly rewind if you’re not happy with the results. And each step of the log is accompanied by a haptic buzz as you scroll forwards and backwards.

Finally, the Apple Pencil Pro has Find My integration, which will make it easier to find when you inevitably lose it, by leaving it at a coffee shop. Given that Apple threw in a lot of new features, the Pencil Pro benefitcial.

Are we on the brink of a robotaxi revolution?
By Victoria Carlos (Article)
January 16, 2024, Siemens Digital Industries Software products and services:

With urban populations skyrocketing and road congestion at an all-time high, cities are searching for technologies that will help reduce pollution and increase the safety and efficiency of their streets.

Robotaxis are one promising solution to these issues. In cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Miami, residents are already hailing these driverless cabs. Yet questions remain: How reliable are these vehicles? And how long will it be until we go from being pilots to passengers?

In this blog, we’ll look at some of the advantages of robotaxis and challenges associated with their widespread adoption.

So, what are robotaxis?
Over the past decade, autonomous vehicle (AV) technology has made tremendous leaps, fueling predictions that they will completely transform the transportation landscape. One key application for AVs is in the creation of an automated taxi service, referred to as robotaxis.

Robotaxis are vehicles equipped with self-driving capabilities, helping them operate more efficiently on a simplified road network.

According to an article from Robotics and Automation News, robotaxis operate within a framework of autonomous driving levels defined by the SAE, primarily falling under Level 4 (L4) and Level 5 (L5). While L4 allows for occasional human intervention, L5 is considered full autonomy, navigating roads with zero human oversight.

To supersede human intervention, these vehicles are equipped with:

Sensors, including LiDAR and RADAR
Trifocal cameras and other technological components
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) These elements amplify a robotaxi’s reliability and efficiency, enabling them to emulate human-like decision making on the roads.

Benefits of driver-free transportation
Just like other autonomous vehicles, robotaxis present a myriad of benefits including:

Reducing accidents and traffic: No human drivers equate to reduced human error, leading to safer roads. In addition, their use of sensors and machine learning algorithms allow robotaxis to map alternate routes and accelerate and decelerate together, thus reducing traffic.

Reduction in emissions: The shift towards electric robotaxis is a win for sustainability. Widespread adoption of these vehicles could lead to a decrease in pollution, aligning with global efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
Shared mobility: The concept of shared rides is far from new, but robotaxis make it more accessible and efficient. By optimizing routes and pooling passengers, robotaxis can alleviate urban congestion and reduce the cost of transportation for residents.

In essence, robotaxis may offer a practical approach to addressing some of the most pressing challenges in urban transportation, from safety and environmental concerns to efficiency and affordability.

The speed bumps on the road to adoption
While computer-powered cars do have promising benefits, they have stirred up some controversy—both legally and publicly. For robotaxis to replace our iconic yellow cabs, here are the challenges they will need to address:

High resolution mapping and data processing: Robotaxis rely on high resolution mapping and sophisticated data processing capabilities—and developing these systems and managing vast data quantities is a logistically heavy lift. However, these systems are essential to the accuracy and reliability of robotaxis and are paramount to passenger safety

Regulatory complications: Due to their advanced AV technology, robotaxis lack conventional controls like pedals and steering wheels, making regulation complicated. Establishing clear guidelines, addressing liability concerns and ensuring compliance with existing laws are essential steps in building public trust and earning regulatory approval.

Public acceptance: For the robotaxi movement to really catch on they will need one thing above all: They need people to want to use them. As of now, robotaxis are in their infancy and don’t have a lengthy safety record, leading to skepticism amongst citizens. These vehicles will need to demonstrate reliability for widespread adoption to occur.

Pushing forward
Whether robotaxis become mainstream tomorrow or 10 years from now, they represent a profound leap in the automotive industry and an exciting look at the future of AV technology.

These innovative vehicles can offer a cleaner, safer and cost-friendly mode of transportation. With collaborative efforts between companies and policy makers to address adoption obstacles, robotaxis can fundamentally redefine our roadways.

Tesla vehicles are computers on wheels. Apple’s iPad Pro with M4 is the advanced technologies in hand and Nvidia H200 Chip’s are cloud based technologies.all amazing technologies separately, ultra valueable when integrated and made accessable to mankind to solve problems beneficial to humanity.

Tesla has always been at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge automotive technology into its electric vehicles, and its latest initiative – Hardware 4 (HW4) – is no exception. As an advanced suite of Autopilot/self-driving sensors coupled with a new Full Self-Driving (FSD) computer, HW4 is set to push the envelope further on autonomous driving.

Apple’s M4 chip
M4 has a blazing-fast Neural Engine — an IP block in the chip dedicated to the acceleration of AI workloads. This is Apple’s most powerful Neural Engine ever, capable of an astounding 38 trillion operations per second — a breathtaking speed.

The NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPU supercharges generative AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads with game-changing performance and memory capabilities.

Robo- is a combining form that means “automated, automatic, or robotic”. It is used to form compound words, such as “robo-adviser” or “robo-trading”. a combining form extracted from robot and meaning “automated, automatic, or robotic,” used in the formation of compound words: a robo-advisor that provides….

The word “taxi”, coming from the meter that calculates the fare (taximeter ), and “cab” from cabriolet, which originally was a covered horse drawn carriage.

Robotaxis transportation convenient and comfortable experiences and are enabled by advanced technologies by Tesla, Apple and Nvidia. And potentially inference compute services from vehicles and properties achieved by advanced technologies. Benefiting humanity with accessable technologies.

Private limited subscription model is planned, very exclusive.

Augmenting Uber and Lyft for ride-sharing services, soon will be Robo-Taxing…. “Robo” for short communication. Ride-haling with Uber, Lyft and Robo. Others will offer robotaxis including Uber, Lyft and many others.

Disruption and differentiation will be rampant, in the ride-sharing sector.

Philanthropists are wanted and needed to help make a better world with robo-taxing. Everyone’s invited to participate.

What is a robotic taxing vehicle? A self-driving car, also known as an autonomous car (AC), driverless car, robotaxi, robotic car or robo-car, is a car that is capable of operating with reduced or no human input.

Benefits vs. features is an important. Benefits of driver-free transportation. Reducing accidents and traffic: No human drivers equate to reduced human error, leading to safer roads.

A full service robotaxis service will typically offer passengers: entertainment, checked baggage, meals, beverages and comforts such as blankets and pillows. Regional travel by Robo-taxing is planned.

Apple entertainment systems are planned with latest and greatest audio visual technologies and content. Personalized multimedia recording, editing and publishing enabled for Participants.

Apple iPad Pro 2 with accessories for each robo-taxing passagers, is planned. The newest iPad has been introduced and physically available soon.

Performance and not price is always the highest priority for participants with technology and everything.

Augmenting the Apple Vision Pro headset (smart-goggles), the guests, passagers robo-taxing will ha the option to use Apple’s audio visual products and others. Hardware, software, content and communication vertically integrated is planned.

High-level ground transportation, stationary relaxing and compute for participants and guests including accessories for travel information, entertainment and productivity is offered creating significant differentiation.

iPad Pro (2024) review: So very nice, Apple spared no expense with the new iPad Pro
