#elonmusk

Electric vehicles (EVs) especially when enabled with artificial intelligence (AI) with advanced driver assistance systems, has a dramatic effect on driver and passengers safety and security. Humanoid’s (Robot’s) expected to have the same artificial intelligence system.

Safety and security protocols need the balance with quality of life. It’s important to play it safe while living life comfortably and happily. No protocols for safety and security can be reckless or tight protocols for safety and security can be too restrictive a balance must be struck to achieve the objectives and goals. It’s good to be observant in the past that was the only way to detect security threats visually it made individuals paranoid.

Executive protection in the past consisted of armoring vehicles from light weapons with security levels of armory preventative with threat levels and careful analysis of attacks from former employees, terrorists and others.

Today’s threats consist of different situations especially from random street crime. Gangs of teens perpetrating crime randomly occur often in urban areas and now in surrounding suburban areas. Alters the threat analysis. Careful analysis of crime statistics is important in developing protocols for executive protection.

Defensive security driving
Special defensive driving is important with full understanding of newer electric vehicles capabilities. Engaging driver assistance systems for opportunities for increased safety from traditional street accidents is very beneficial.

When necessary for high-speed evasive driving techniques to be used and other security driving techniques it’s important to understand the implications on the vehicle including speed limitations. High speed driving may not be possible with some driver system engagement. Ramming vehicle driver technique with airbags is not likely to be recommended.

Autonomous driving
As autonomous driving gets closer to technological reality and regulatory approval safety and security vehicle considerations must be incorporated into the situation.

Augmentation
Technology including assets should augment current security assets and personnel. Redundancy with legacy and advanced technology capability is most likely to be the most beneficial.

Humanoids
Robots are coming soon. Safety and security enhancements utilizing humanoids will change safety and security protocols significantly. Robots potentially can be used offensively and defensively accounting for the capabilities is critical for safety and security.

Detection of humanoids
Can humanoids be detected with traditional existing technology? What are the current and future capabilities of detection especially with respect to distance and proximity.

Infrared technology and/or motion sensor technology possibly combined might work. Camera technology used for assisted driving and robotics likely to do the most beneficial installed on vehicles and robots: question of accessibility to the technology and installed on track vehicles and other equipment, depending on the terrain and the weather conditions with other assets it’s likely to be the most optimal.

Utilization of robots will be a major consideration in and around vehicles and on property including temporary vacation homes and second homes.

Will the robots be allowed to be defensive and offensive blessings depend on the jurisdiction and location compliance with laws and regulations will be imperative while balancing security.

Tesla Bot
Optimus Humanoid by Tesla, reportedly will have the same Hardware (HW4) as Tesla vehicles for assisted driving, utilizing Hi-Tech cameras and artificial intelligence processing trillions of data, including video, information within nanoseconds.

Vehicle recorded information in real-time and post recording to be processed by applications
Tesla (Dojo) supercomputer with sophisticated modeling tools. For example: looking for perpetrators conducting advanced surveillance stationary and mobile will be possible.

Tesla Cybertruck & Vehicles
The Tesla Cybertruck and other vehicles enabled with Hardware (HW4) is a necessary consideration because of the Cybertruck’s reported capabilities.
Amphibious capabilities, shallow water driving. Technology with super strong-glass, beneficial for small weapon protection and penetration resistance.
The air suspension system is likely to enable street curb-jumping (special training planned) without severe tire and vehicle damage to continue movement.

The challenge is going to be the lack of blending into other vehicle traffic careful consideration is necessary as a primary full-time vehicle used for executive protection.

Advanced technology used against you. It’s important to understand and comprehend how technology can be used against you. Gaming technology and other techniques will be necessary to provide protection against adversaries.

Accessing technology (computers on Wheels and legs) vehicles and robots training and attachments including tethered drones for land and underwater (cameras & lightning) will be imperative for advance safety and security.

Parked electric vehicles
Technically enabled vehicles offer increased executive protection capabilities. Cameras connected to a secure Internet information system, shared strategically offer significant increased security. Augmenting with human security in vehicle climate controls (Tesla Camp Mode) maintain comfortable interior temperature with positive pressure protecting humans increasing personnel potentially from gas attack. Sentry mode (Tesla) records and shares multi angle video.

Rapid response
Unfortunately, law enforcement limited funding and other reasons have reduced response time when emergencies occur individuals must be prepared for longer response time from local law enforcement and others. Best to be prepared to handle the situation completely is beneficial.

Assets
I’m feeling in the situation a combination of different assets will be beneficial working in concert together.

Demographic
Celebrities, protecting: wealthy individuals, Fortune 50 company executives, kingdoms, US embassy personnel globally and US Federal agencies

Electric vehicle electric luxury
Driving an electric vehicle is considered a luxury by many individuals, however with advanced driver assistant programs and other safety factors. Individuals have or soon will have a greater appreciation for the benefits of the entire family driving electric vehicle.

Robotaxing
As a robot texting another transportation income generating revenue opportunities become available autonomous electric vehicles will make sense for the entire family economically.

Teen drivers operating electric vehicles potentially, have the opportunity for a side hustle and gig income especially as a first job opportunity compared to in the past employment opportunity.
Owning an operating an autonomous electric vehicle could be a significant passive income earning opportunity both short-term and long-term. Paying or augmenting the expense of higher-education autonomously possibly.

Proper security procedures including driver/passager compartment real-time cameras increase the security protection for the driver and passengers, at all times. Cashless operation is a deterrent from robbery, stealing and operating the vehicle is nearly impossible. Short and long one-way trips from higher-education locations from urban and suburban areas are potentially highly profitable.

Custom security systems
Non-lethal systems:
Smoke, banging Flash, oil spray (diesel fuel). Special lighting system to dilate pupils.
Lethal systems:
Flamethrowers, weapon systems

Safety, security and wellness
The executive protection program will include safety evaluation and protocol implementation.
Also include detailed security evaluation and protocols for optimal security 24/7/365 including while traveling.

Wellness evaluation in ongoing support includes vital signs checked often full lab reports not less than every 6 months and other examinations including body scan and other recommended procedures as prevented medicine in addition to responding to emergency. Advanced medical directives provided or updated with the legal team. Best medical team available whenever medical procedures are required. Including complete support for friends and family.

Obsolescence
Security protocols obsolescence occurs like all other aspects of life. Technological advancements weekly had been tremendous adaptation to security is imperative to keep current and to maximize protection.

Duration
The executive protection program begins with no ending unless participants opt out. Over the air updates go to the vehicle, related to travel routes selected, detecting and reporting street crime incidents, including real-time updates as available. The plan is to have the software interactive with law enforcement reporting to identify and in real-time red zones (high crime areas or attack zones, including pre-determined red zones).

Initial training expects to be less than one day on location or other locations as determined to be best.

Participant, friends and family
The purchase event determines the addition of friends and family to be part of the executive protection program. Recommendations will include all parties in a family unit Drive electric vehicles for increased security and safety

Tesla Software Article:

You can enable Full Self-Driving (Beta) by tapping ‘Control’ > ‘Autopilot’ > ‘Full Self-Driving (Beta)’ and following the instructions.

Full Self-Driving is in early limited access to Beta and must be used with additional caution. It may do the wrong thing at the worst time, so you must always keep your hands on the wheel and pay extra attention to the road. Do not become complacent. When Full Self-Driving is enabled your vehicle will make lane changes off highway, select forks to follow your navigation route, navigate around other vehicles and objects, and make left and right turns. Use Full Self-Driving in limited Beta only if you will pay constant attention to the road, and be prepared to act immediately, especially around blind corners, crossing intersections, and in narrow driving situations.

Your vehicle is running on Tesla Vision! Note that Tesla Vision also includes some temporary limitations, follow distance is limited to 2-7 and Autopilot top speed is 85 mph.

Transportation of people and products has changed drastically. Current and future electric vehicles enabled with advanced technologies is ushering in a new era of transportation.

Drivers
Autonomous driving without drivers is in the news. It’s likely that the technology and vehicle capabilities to transport people and products will occur. However, regulatory approval will be potentially significantly delayed.

Politician and others will not want to take the risk.

Although a technology driven vehicle is likely to be much safer than humans driving vehicles the media will highlight every accident when occurred by autonomously driven vehicle. It will likely scare the politicians into not making a decision although more lives will likely be lost otherwise.

Is the nature of humans especially politicians not to take risks.

Consumers, many of them, will be extremely uncomfortable driving behind the wheel or as a passenger with autonomously enabled vehicles.

Convenience, comfort and safety

Consumers want convenience, comfort and safety with their personal transportation. For products consumers want convenience and instant gratification. With food consumers want freshness, nutritious, quality and seasonal food with traceability (not frozen). Including with fresh fish, Seafood and other products. Farmers market delivered to them on-demand individual portions pre-cooked, partially cooked or not-cooked.

Autonomous vehicle benefits
A vehicle for on& demand, one-way transportation significant benefit is during dispatch to the on-demand location for pickup and after the trip-ends returning without passenger. Journey transportation is likely to be preferred to have a human driver.

Humanoids
In the future, it’s likely that humanoids can be the driver technologically especially with advanced technology on the vehicle and within the robot.

Redundancy
When vehicles are autonomous driven by technology and humanoids incorporate technology especially artificial intelligence is potentially redundant to have the vehicle and the driver with advanced technology capabilities. Interesting consideration. Redundancy,I s normally good many aircraft and other products are designed with redundancy for safety purposes.

Ride hailing and robo taxi

The ride hailing (ride sharing) and Robotaxing sector’s highlight the utilization of artificial intelligence enabling full self-driving (FSD) vehicles or other similar terminology. The primary difference is a vehicle with or without a driver.

Human drivers cost money with a one-way transportation service. Potentially replacing humans with technology is believed to significantly drive down the cost of Transportation per mile passengers and products. Industry is focus is on reducing cost per mile.

Improve safety is what the consumer is asking for reduced loss of life and serious injuries the consumer, has not said they want a driverless experience with themselves or others. Impact of many consumers say they want to continue driving their vehicles and would be. Many consumers communicate: uncomfortable being a passenger especially in the backseat with no physical human driver.

Sentry Mode (TeslaCam)
Tesla uses its Autopilot to provide a standard Sentry Mode feature with multiple cameras, as well as a built-in dashcam (TeslaCam). In short, the electric car scans and records its immediate surrounding (when someone approaches the vehicle). Advanced security offensive and defensive systems are planned for evTransport.

Communication systems
Advanced communication systems are planned on vehicles, advanced satellite communication systems. Special antennas including global positioning satellite systems (GPSS) factory equipped satellite communication systems or added enabling internet connection anywhere anytime.

Dream job
Autonomous Vehicle drivers position will be a dream job. The drivers can sit during their work listen to music and interact on social media. Advanced, wireless Bluetooth technology. Keeping two hands on the wheel all the time as far as regulatory and technological requirements. Get digitaly paid instantly. Many other traditional benefits and new benefits like traveling the world driving a new electric vehicle.

It’s not really a traditional job, it’s a side hustle or gig with flexibility and freedom.

Hybrid
It’s likely that a hybrid approach is best. On demand transportation services can provide a consumer option with or without a driver in the future.

In a short-term drivers will be required by regulation perhaps not by technology. To optimize the advantage of technology and accept the realities of regulation.

It’s proposed to have human drivers behind the vehicle steering wheel to take-over the vehicle at anytime if driver assistance technology disengages meeting the the requirement by regulations.

Driver skill-set
Advanced Driver assistant technologies dramatically change the driver’s skill-set. With advanced driving technologies dramatic improvement utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). The driver of the vehicle is passive most of time. Compensation for drivers will potentially be reduced dramatically.

First time jobs, entry level
The drivers of autonomous vehicles for transportation will likely transition to first-time job opportunities. Entry level positions.

Compensation including benefits level likely to be commentative with barista and coffee shops (Starbucks). More than minimum wage is planned. The culture of the coffee shop industry likely to be replicated for drivers. Many special perks beneficial for human resource recruitment of drivers.

Side hustles and gig work
A new generation, work habits and styles has emerged side hustles and gig are popular buzzwords. For young generation, it means flexibility and controls, continue schooling and other recreational activities on their schedule.

Retirees job gaps opportunity including couples both as drivers. Excellent travel opportunities with compensation and paid expenses.

Adopting and integrating the labor market conditions is beneficial for new transportation.

The younger generation is extremely technologically capable. Technology is being adopted for transportation. It makes sense to involved younger technologically enabled drivers.

Driver training
Augmenting driving skills of drivers is planned, simulators and human training. Potentially, with defensive driving curriculum for drivers up to including executive protection training.

Self-driving
Individuals that are qualified can request a vehicle and drive themselves or other passengers that are qualified to drive. One-Way long distances is allowed and recommended. Potential expense for returning to vehicle paid by participant endless other return arrangements can be made with other participants. Actively marketed to wide variety of participants.

Passenger comfortable
Drivers will be trained and followed standard operating procedures for passengers. Climate control settings enabled by technology precisely set at most comfortable temperature (72 degrees) prior to passengers entering the vehicle. Incense security lockdown and other protective measures planned including routes traveling based upon criminal activity not just direct route.

Tesla is in Camp Mode it will maintain the optimum temperature and airflow inside the cabin (which you can adjust to your convenience). Your lighting setup will also be maintained, and even the music if you want to listen to some chill tunes while you relax inside your car.
Camp also keeps your low voltage outlet and USB ports powered so that you can charge or use your electronic devices. The touchscreen also remains on so you can play music, browse the internet, play games in the arcade, or watch shows in Tesla Theater (requires Premium Connectivity or Wi-Fi).

Sentry Mode and Alarm
While Camp Mode is active, Sentry Mode and the vehicle alarm system are disabled, as well as auto lock (so you don’t have to constantly lock and unlock the car as you come and go). .

evValet
Vehicle parking location utilizing advanced autopilot and other features with Park Seek and retrieval capabilities. Businesses will have special evValet convenient pick-up and drop-off locations closest to the front door of the business. Inclement weather preparation with umbrellas to other temporary apparel, for personal comfort of participants.

Tesla is working on a feature called “Reverse Summon” or “Park Seek,” which could be added to its Full Self Driving Autopilot suite. Planning to us features with evValet

Sponsored trips
Businesses will provide round trip transportation for consumers. High rollers at casinos for many years have been provided round trip transportation, lodging, food and drinks, plus many other benefits to visit casinos to gamble.

On-demand
Electric vehicle on-demand, one-way transportation of people and products. Concierge level of service, completely digital globally. Multiple bookings planned. Product transportation includes from about 1 pound to 80,000 pounds, including perishable products precision temperature controlled (within about 2°) with humidity and antibacterial capabilities.

Perishable fresh products for cafes and dining experiences at spectacular venues globally, fully supported.

Safety and security are the highest priorities during transportation

On-demand Transportation

The on-demand digital transportation services to be similar to ride-hailing, ride-sharing and taxis. Application centric transactional, smartphone application transportation

Current and future electric vehicle owners with autonomous capabilities are expected to participate. Vehicle are utilized more efficiently for profit and humanitarian purposes.

Exclusively Electric
The plan will support exclusively electric vehicles no internal combustion engine (ice) vehicles. Electric vehicles (EVs) have a lower operating cost and are supported at the evStation’s for charging. No infrastructure plans to supporting traditional internal combustion engine vehicles.

Autonomous Vehicles
Coming soon autonomous enabled electric vehicles. evTransport program is exclusively for autonomously enabled electric vehicles.

Extreme weather conditions

Electric vehicles in the fleet are capable of maneuvering and adverse extreme weather conditions with some limitations. When other transportation services are canceled or delayed significantly ground transportation to destinations likely to be arranged.

Veteran owned and women owned small businesses are encouraged and fully supported.

Million on demand rides per day potentially.

Pricing and fee structure
At this time it is planned, for vehicle participants to pay a processing fee of up to 20% gross transaction.

Others reportedly charged between 20 and 30% now and in the future.

Suggested the business structure to be: “passive income” to individuals potentially enable them to be in a lower taxable income of about 15% compared to 35% maximum tax rate in United States. This is not intended to be tax advice only as a guideline. Additional benefit of passive income structure, possibly no day-to-day responsibilities.

More Background Research:
Is Tesla Level 3 or 4?
Tesla declared its technology is a ‘Level Two’ semi-autonomous driving system – not the more advanced ‘Level Three’ system which is already being developed and rolled out by rival car-makers.
Tesla is integrating car sharing in its app, hinting at ‘Tesla Network’
CEO Elon Musk said that one of the core goals of the design of the Model 3 (and Model Y later) was to build the electric car around self-driving and car-sharing/ride-sharing capability.

Things like the center display, the cabin-facing camera, and using your phone as a key were meant to facilitate launching those capabilities in the future.

For years now, Tesla has been talking about launching the “Tesla Network,” an Uber-like ride-hailing app that also enables you to share your car with friends and family.

The real value of the Tesla Network would come with Tesla releasing the promised version of its Full Self-Driving package, but there have been delays on that front.

The system has been in early beta for over a year now, and there’s no sign of Tesla trying to get it approved as an actual commercial full self-driving system any time soon.

But Musk said that Tesla could still release the Tesla Network without self-driving, and we are seeing some of the first signs of integration in the app.

Today, Tesla released a new version of its mobile app, and while it doesn’t include new release notes with updated features, some internet sleuths managed to find updates to the app’s code.

One of them found that Tesla added several bits about vehicle sharing

real-time pricing
How do you explain dynamic pricing?
Dynamic pricing, also called real-time pricing, is an approach to setting the cost for a product or service that is highly flexible. The goal of dynamic pricing is to allow a company that sells goods or services over the Internet to adjust prices on the fly in response to market demands.
What is Elon Musk’s new AI?
Elon Musk has founded a new artificial intelligence company named X.AI, according to a Nevada business filing from last month.
The filing, dated March 9, lists Musk as the company’s sole director and Jared Birchall, who manages Musk’s family office, as its secretary.
More Notes:
Elon’s artificial intelligence entity believed to support new app development including for on-demand electric vehicle transportation sharing.
Reportedly, the all-in-one app will support individuals in many ways and financial transactions including transportation. It’s expected that the app will be open-source enabling supporting entrepreneurial small businesses. Including evTransport small businesses (less than 25 vehicles potentially, with less than a million dollars annual revenue and less than 100 employees).
Ride-Hailing vs. Ride-Sharing
Transportation Network Companies (TNCs), like Uber, Lyft, and Via, are often hailed as “the future of public transport” — providing a customized, convenient solution that claims to take cars off the road. Many describe these as ride-sharing or ride-hailing services — using the two terms interchangeably. However, the two are different experiences.

Ride-hailing is when a rider “hails” or hires a personal driver to take them exactly where they need to go. The transportation vehicle is not shared with any other riders, nor does it make several stops along a route.
Ride-sharing, by contrast, is synonymous with carpooling. It is literally the process in which a rider shares a vehicle with other riders. It is not personal transportation, as the space is shared, and it will make stops to pick up other riders.
Major TNCs do offer ride-sharing services, like UberPool and Lyft Shared. This enables multiple passengers traveling in the same direction to request a ride and share the same driver to their respective destination(s). On the surface, this appears to be environmentally sustainable

Tesla Note:

Tesla’s FSD capability enables all the features that come with Tesla’s Autopilot and Enhanced Autopilot features, including automatic lane changes, autosteering, auto parking, and more

The idea would be to take the autonomous driving from Tesla vehicles and use them to create an automated ride-hailing service.

Uber information
How much does Uber charge per mile?between $1 and $2 per mile
Most estimates claim that an Uber ride will cost between $1 and $2 per mile on average. However, this is just one aspect of how Uber prices your ride and does not include any other fees
Do you pay for Uber before the ride?
When you arrive at your destination and exit the vehicle, your trip ends. Your fare is automatically calculated and charged to the payment method you’ve linked to your Uber account. In some cities, you can pay your fare in cash.
Are Ubers cheaper than taxis?
Is Uber cheaper than a taxi? Uber is usually a little bit cheaper than taking a traditional taxi. In most cases, Uber fares can be up to 40% cheaper than traditional taxi fares. In some cases, though, Uber fares can be almost double what they are for taxis, when you factor in extra costs
Do you tip Uber drivers
You can tip your driver once your trip is complete. Tips are neither expected nor required. After a trip has ended, you have 30 days to add a tip in the app, on riders.uber.com, or from your emailed trip receipt
Fee’s:
Booking Fee: This is a flat fee that is added to each ride to cover operational costs. The fee scales with the distance of the trip, but the minimum booking fee you can be charged is $1 and the maximum is $10.
Service Fee: The service fee is the fee drivers pay Uber, and it varies from trip to trip. It’s the difference between what a rider pays and what a driver earns on a trip, excluding tips, tolls, and certain fees, taxes, and surcharges. However, it is not necessarily charged on every trip.
Surge Pricing: During periods of high demand, Uber applies a multiplier to the standard rate that can make a given ride significantly pricier than what might normally be charged on the same route.
Tolls and Surcharges: Riders are responsible for paying any tolls or surcharges that are incurred during the ride. These fees can vary depending on the city and route.
Local Fees: Depending on where you live, additional fees might be added based on state regulations. For instance, a New York State Black Car Fund fee is added to all Uber rides within New York.
Airport Fee: Uber may charge an additional fee for rides to or from certain airports.
Wait Time Fee: In some locations, a per-minute wait time fee is added based on how long your driver had to wait for you to get into the car after arriving at your pickup location.
Cancellation Fees: If you cancel more than 2 minutes after your UberX request has been accepted, or if your driver cancels after waiting at least 5 minutes at your pickup location, you will be charged a $10 cancellation fee.
Sales Tax: A set percentage added to your ride based on the local sales tax rate that your ride took place in.
Cleaning Fee: Riders are responsible for damage to the interior or exterior of a vehicle caused by incidents such as vomiting or food spills. Cleaning fees are assessed and charged according to the extent of the damage
What is the difference between Uber and UberX, you might wonder? Actually, there is no difference between UberX and Uber – UberX is simply a basic level of service that Uber offers. Uber offers a variety of service level options. They range from cheaper, economy rides to pricier luxury rides

Uber now has 74% of the US rideshare market, up from 62% in 2020, according to market research firm YipitData, while Lyft’s market share slipped to 26% from 38% during that same period.M

In recent years, ride-hailing platforms have become ubiquitous and likely now make up the most visible sector of the gig economy. People in most cities looking to go from point A to point B decreasingly walk out to the sidewalk and put their hand in the air for a taxi, but rather, summon a car with a few keystrokes on a smartphone. With voice recognition technology and self-driving cars on the horizon, there is the dream that one day people will soon be able to speak into their phone (or other connected devices) to summon a driverless car to pick them up. All of which seemed outlandishly futuristic when Batman would do so only a few decades ago.

Conventional taxi cabs are becoming obsolete so quickly that most people in US cities will give a questioning look if anyone says that they are going to get one. Once-prized New York City taxi medallions have plummeted in price from $1.3 million in 2013 to as low as $160,000. For the most part, people do not even say that they are going to get a Lyft or Uber, but they “Uber” from one place to another. Indeed, the current CEO of Uber said that he joined the company because it was a verb: “My father always told me if you can run a verb, say ‘yes.’”

With both members of the US ride-hailing duopoly filing initial documentation for their respective 2019 IPOs last month, a closer look at the Lyft vs Uber debate is worthwhile.

What are the Qualitative Differences Between Lyft and Uber?
Although ride-hailing platforms continue to dominate traditional taxis, for both passengers and drivers, it is often a coin toss to decide between the two incumbents. Ride-sharing is a commodity in most US cities, so the majority of both drivers and riders open up Uber and Lyft indiscriminately and choose which to use based on price and wait time. The map applications from Google and Apple have caught on to this and offer in-app pricing gauges for ride-hailing services when users are seeking directions. And some apps have come on to the scene specifically to help users choose the optimal service, such as Bellhop and GoA2B.

While essentially both Uber and Lyft are platforms to pair drivers with riders that want to reach their destination, the two companies differentiate themselves in some ways. Securities analysts drawing up valuations of IPOs do not typically pay too much attention to company culture, however, the stark contrast between these two is illuminating from a strategic standpoint.

Starting with the branding: Uber has a simpler black and white feel, while Lyft opts for pink coloring with a distinct typeface.

The idea would be to take the autonomous driving from Tesla vehicles and use them to create an automated ride-hailing service

Ride-sharing Insurance

Do you need rideshare insurance?
Rideshare companies are usually mandated by state law to provide coverage for their drivers. However, because your rideshare company’s policy may not cover you in situations when you’re waiting for a passenger, most insurers, including Progressive, require you to add rideshare insurance to your personal auto policy if you drive for Uber, Lyft, or any other rideshare service.

What if I don’t tell my insurer about my rideshare driving?
Engaging in ridesharing activities opens you up to potential liabilities that your personal auto policy may not cover, so an insurer could cancel or non-renew your policy if they find out you’re driving for a rideshare service and didn’t notify them. Always contact your auto insurer before you start ridesharing to make sure you’re not violating the terms of your policy, and to add rideshare coverage.

Important note: Some insurance companies don’t offer rideshare coverage or only offer it in certain states. If yours doesn’t, you can switch to a company that does or consider a commercial auto policy. In fact, some states and rideshare services may require you to purchase a commercial policy instead. Commercial insurance is typically more expensive, but in some instances it’s the only way to obtain rideshare coverage.

How does rideshare insurance work?
Here’s how your coverages may shift during a typical ride on a platform like Uber or Lyft:

When you’re offline
Any insurance provided through Uber or Lyft won’t apply during this time period. Instead, your personal auto insurance policy with your selected coverages will apply.

When you’re waiting for a ride request
The ridesharing company may provide insurance that covers liability for bodily injury and property damage. Be sure to contact your rideshare company to confirm how you’re protected.

What rideshare insurance typically covers:

Comprehensive & collision: These coverages include the same deductible as your personal policy.
Uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM): Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage types and limits are generally the same as your personal policy, except coverage is provided only for the driver during this period.
Additional coverages: Roadside assistance, rental car reimbursement, and other coverages may apply if you have them on your policy.
When you accept a request
The ridesharing company may provide some insurance covering liability for bodily injury and property damage up to the policy’s limits. It may also provide contingent coverage for physical damage to your vehicle and uninsured/underinsured motorist bodily injury coverage. Rideshare coverage may also cover:

Additional coverages: Roadside assistance, rental car reimbursement, and other coverages may also apply during this period if they’re on your policy.
Deductible reimbursement: Depending on your insurer, you may be reimbursed for the difference between your policy’s deductible and the ridesharing company’s deductible

Owning a horse -Elon Musk

“The fundamental message that consumers should be taking today is that it is financially insane to buy anything other than a Tesla,” Musk said. “It will be like owning a horse in three years.

During a recent interview Elon: talked about how the average passenger car is used for just 10 to 12 hours per week, spending most of its time parked at its owner’s home or place of work, which makes the value proposition incredibly inefficient.

By installing autonomous software, those vehicles could spend that idle time out on the road as part of a ride-hailing network, earning money for both the owner and for Tesla. (and others)

Current and Future individuals with one single vehicle can generate income.

Make Passive Income With Tesla’s Robotaxi Network
According to Musk, Tesla owners could expect to earn up to $30,000 per year in extra cash by lending their Teslas out to anyone in need of a ride

Consider having a vehicle fleet of 10 vehicles 30,000 per vehicle generating over a quarter million dollars per year, potentially. Increase the number of vehicles to 20 that potentially generates possibly over half a million dollars a year or more.

Acquisition risk
Minimize the vehicle acquisition risk with floor planning or other innovative vehicle financing. The vehicle is the main collateral. No personal guarantees are planned. New special purpose corporation formed by individuals for increased liability protection, potentially.

Independently managed fleets may qualify under internal revenue Service (IRS) as passive income substantially reducing tax rate potentially. Possibly avoid paying tax on passive income withkeeping assets in tax-deferred accounts like IRAs and 4O1(k) plans. Roth IRA, pay tax upon distribution or never possibly.

Fleet financing collateral is the vehicle not the personal individual possibly.

Robotaxi

Tesla Robotaxi

Musk claims a vehicle without a steering wheel or pedals is under& development.

Planning to support and utilize Tesla Robotaxi and current production electric vehicles for transportation services with and without drivers.

0ne-way driver transportation is planned. Renter/driver uses vehicles to drive-to-destination they desire. Leave the vehicle and others return the vehicle.

Transportation for people and products leveraging artificial intelligence, autonomous technologies and advance communication systems

Scalability
Unlimited scalability with millions of autonomously capable vehicles currently on the road with over-the-air software updates vehicles can become autonomous.

Millions of vehicles are produced each year with autonomous capabilities.

Trailers
Robo taxis management recreational vehicle trailers and Commercial trailers upon requests including special tarp systems.

Special services
Robotaxing with unique special services including pickup trucks with towing capacities and semi trucks with significant towing capacities is part of the plan.

Individuals can request robotaxi with towing capacity. For example recreational vehicles owned or rented can be transported on-trailer ball part of towing capacity vehicles.

Advanced communication system
Part of the robotaxi fleet planned to have an advanced communication system, satellite internet connection globally.

Shipping and receiving
Robotaxi plans to include shipping and receiving services: individuals and entities can request virtually assets to be picked-up and dropped-off at any location in the world. Pellets handling is possible with compact track loaders (CTL) perishable and other temperature sensitive prices can be picked up and placed into high-tech Refrigeration units with remote monitoring of temperature and humidity.

Unlimited size and weight and location.

Accessories both aftermarket and from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and others plan to be procured and installed on global robotaxing fleet’s

Emergency services
Robotaxis I plan for emergency services including evacuations. Special emergency services are planned and scalable transporting one-to-thousands of people is possible. One-to-thousands lbs of commodities, possible. Individuals can sponsor and opt-in autonomous vehicles in cases of emergencies to perform special missions with tracking and multimedia possibility, respecting privacy.

Inclement weather conditions
Robotaxi fleet planned for special capable, vehicles with accessories as necessary for on and off-road, operate in extreme weather conditions including in snow and other adverse weather conditions.

What is the benefit of robotaxi?
Autonomous vehicles (AVs), and their robotaxi applications in particular, have the potential to save millions of lives, increase mobility, and speed the energy transition.
Commercial trucking AVs should be on the road by the mid-2020s, with robotaxis reaching a tipping-point in cities around a decade later
How does Robotaxi work?
Robo-taxi is a self-driving car that operates as a taxi in an e-hailing service. This means that robo-taxis do not have a driver and passengers can request them via a smartphone application
How much will robotaxis cost per mile?
The cost of an autonomous ride-hailing service will drop to $0.25 per mile, compared to $0.70 to keep a personal car. Low Operation Cost: Autonomous vehicles will help to reduce insurance costs, as well as, reduce accidents. This will help to bring down the cost of these services
How can I avoid paying tax on passive income?By keeping assets in tax-deferred accounts like IRAs and 401(k) plans, you won’t have to pay tax on your income and gains until you withdraw the money from the account. In the case of a Roth IRA, you may never have to pay tax on your distributions at all.

Passive Income
Individuals potentially can have passive income with evFleets.

As famous entrepreneur Warren Buffett once said, “If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.” In short: passive income helps you diversify your earnings and creates an efficient way to earn money because your time isn’t always required.

While many passive income efforts involve upfront investments and set-up time, your involvement greatly decreases over time until you are completely hands-off or can hand over responsibilities to someone else. Passive income is a great way to build wealth faster because you make money with almost zero limits.

Potentially, achieve financial independence and retire early
What are the three types of income active passive?
Three of the main types of income are earned, passive and portfolio. Earned income includes wages, salary, tips and commissions. Passive or unearned income could come from rental properties, royalties and limited partnerships. Portfolio or investment income includes interest, dividends and capital gains on investments

What is the tax rate for passive income and Non Passive income?
Rental income, interest income, dividend and capital gains are common types of passive income. Non-passive income includes active income, business income and investment income. Passive income can be taxed up to 15%. Tax limit for non-passive is 35%

What does the IRS consider passive income?
Passive Activities
Trade or business activities in which you don’t materially participate during the year. Rental activities, even if you do materially participate in them
What is the passive income rule?
Under U.S. tax law, a passive activity is one that produces income or losses that did not result in any material participation by the taxpayer. For example, if you own farmland but rent it out to a farmer who does all the work, you’re making passive income. Passive losses cannot be used to offset earned income.

Side hustle
What can bring me passive income?
It’s also referred to as unearned income by the Internal Revenue Service. The opposite of active income, passive income streams can come from investing in mutual funds or real estate, selling products online, publishing online courses, or other side hustles in which the earner doesn’t have to actively participate

Is a side hustle the same as passive income?

With side hustles you “earn” money, with passive income you “make” money. This is because with side hustles you are trading your time and involvement in return for payment, whereas for passive income, you are making money that is not tied to your active Participation
Floor Planing
(Possibly by Tesla)
What Is Floor Planning?
Floor planning is a form of retailer financing for large ticket items displayed on showroom floors or lots. Specialty lenders, traditional banks, and finance arms of manufacturers provide the short-term loans to retailers to purchase items and they are then repaid as the items are sold.

Automobile dealerships utilize floor plan financing to run their new and used car businesses. Floor planning is a type of inventory financing.

Small businesses

Individuals and small companies can establish their customized evFleets.

Transportation

It’s planned that evFleets will include transportation of people and products. Refrigerated product transportation is planned.

Motor vehicle insurance
(Possibly by Tesla)

Tesla vehicles are some of the most advanced on the road, and with Tesla Insurance you have access to tools that can help you drive safer.

Chief Executive Elon Musk says Tesla is making design and software changes to its vehicles to lower repair costs and insurance premiums

What Is a Roth IRA?
An individual retirement account (IRA) is an account used to save for retirement. A Roth IRA is a special type of tax-advantaged individual retirement account to which you can contribute after-tax dollars. The primary benefit of a Roth IRA is that your contributions and the earnings on those contributions can grow tax-free and be withdrawn tax-free after the age 59½ assuming the account has been open for at least five years. In other words, you pay taxes on money going into your Roth IRA, and then all future withdrawals are tax-free

The Roth IRA five-year rule says you cannot withdraw earnings tax-free until it’s been at least five years since you first contributed to a Roth IRA account. This five-year rule applies to everyone who contributes to a Roth IRA, whether they’re 59 ½ or 105 years old.

Waymo and Cruise robotaxi services

San Francisco transportation officials want Waymo and Cruise to slow the expansion of their robotaxi services in the city due to safety concerns, as reported earlier by NBC News. In two letters written to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), the officials on San Francisco County’s Transportation Authority say the expansion of either service “is unreasonable,” citing recent incidents involving stopped driverless vehicles blocking traffic and obstructing emergency responders.

The GM-backed Cruise and Alphabet-owned Waymo are currently the only companies permitted to offer driverless rides to passengers in San Francisco. In June, Cruise won a permit to charge for rides in its autonomous vehicles (AV) between 10PM and 6AM, while Waymo obtained a permit to offer fully driverless rides a few months later. Unlike Cruise, Waymo still can’t charge for driverless rides, as it’s still awaiting an additional permit from the CPUC.

Waymo Robotaxi

Waymo barreling ahead with bigger robotaxi coverage in San Francisco and Phoenix – The Verge

Waymo is dramatically expanding its robotaxi service areas in Phoenix and San Francisco as it seeks to gain new customers, generate more revenue, and make a convincing argument that self-driving cars are more than just an expensive fad.

In Phoenix, the company’s autonomous Jaguar I-PACE vehicles will now cover a total of 180 square miles, or roughly twice the size of its current map and four times the size of the area that the company served when it first launched its ride-hailing operation in 2020.

National & International Accounts

Potentially securing National and international accounts fulfillment by local and regional providers with evFleets

What is national accounts marketing?
A national account is a prospect or customer with locations in several sales territories that are sold, using a coordinated national strategy rather than strategies that focus on specific locations.
What does national account mean in business?
National accounts are a system of accounts and balance sheets that provide a broad and integrated framework to describe an economy, whether a region, a country, or a group of countries such as the European Union (EU)
Could A Tesla Really Be An Appreciating Asset?
The Tesla Model 3 has already proven it has very low depreciation, but to grow in value seems crazy.
Depreciation & Tesla’s appreciated in value

An unfortunate fact of car ownership is depreciation. In just one year, the average car can depreciate as much as 20-percent of its value, losing up to 60-percent of its worth in as little as five years. While antique cars and collector’s edition vehicles are notable exceptions to this rule, new trends suggest that the Tesla model could also prove a more worthwhile investment than your typical commuter car. Not only do Teslas hold their value upon purchase, but certain models can even appreciate value over time due to increased demand for used electric vehicles. In particular, the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y are in high demand from customers worldwide, resulting in higher prices not only for brand-new models, but for used ones as well. As Tesla increases production and further advances their cutting-edge all-electric technology. But, what exactly allows Teslas to hold their value compared to other battery-operated vehicles? To determine that, it’s important to understand why cars depreciate in the first place, and how Tesla’s Full Self Driving (FSD) capability keeps the car from taking a strong hit.

Currently casinos cover the entire cost transportation in a combination for high rollers. Expansion of this high-roller package could include robo-taxi. The casinos would pay a fee or reciprocate with rooms and other benefits to robo-taxing services. In-kind compensation. Innovative robo taxing businesses opportunities for all parties expanded.

evValet
High traffic popular destinations can have evValet robo taxi stations. Dedicated locations for arriving and departing passengers. Including on-demand robotaxing. Walk-up and depart by robotaxi.

Concierge
Robotaxi providers work closely with concierge virtually and physically. Booking free is paid to concierge in cash and/or in-kind products and services a good gift certificates and vouchers.

Tipping
Compensation to drivers and others can be earned with tipping. Much like many industries the larger portions their income compensation come from tips paid by consumers

Potentially, drivers additional compensation from consumers by tipping with cash or in-kind services. Possibly traveling by private jet to a destination offered or other beneficial traveling on boats. Having a robot taxi with or without a driver is beneficial to travel a consumers.

Regional knowledge
Especially travelers unfamiliar with local and region can greatly benefit from robotaxi with our without drivers. This includes taking consumers to special locations including working with restauranteurs to expand experiences.

Environmental benefits
Electric vehicle robo-traveling will have significant reduced of polluting emissions from any current form of traveling. Clean sustainable traveling: local, regional and national traveling is enabled.

Driver security
Vehicle technology includes multiple cameras including in the passenger cabin potentially with real-time multimedia sharing to central location. Any criminal activity occurring in or around the vehicle is video recorded and reported with expected law enforcement response to occur quickly. Special low profile security systems can be installed in robo-taxis.

Traveling comfortable & securely
Technology transportation vehicles increase traveling comfortableness and security. Entertainment and traveling flexibility for food and drinks has many benefits including: convenience, comfort, safety and security.

Arbitrage
Individuals can average cause the difference between vehicles payments (rental, lease or banking) and potential earning power of the vehicle. Vehicle insurance is probably operating cost potentially available by electric vehicle manufacturer or under a special auto insurance umbrella policy.

Profitability formulas
At this time it’s extremely difficult to financially model with accuracy the profitability of having a robo-taxi fleet (similar to the real estate industry)

Cost per key, utilization rate & revenue rate.

The formula is likely to consist of cost per key really the monthly payment, not totally vehicle cost (the lower the cost per vehicle the better for the formula autonomously enabled electric vehicles potentially and reportedly could be low soon, including for purposely manufactured vehicles for robotaxing.

At this time, autonomous electric vehicle can be rented, leased and purchased. The autonomous software can be purchased or paid by monthly subscription.

Ride sharing
The ride-sharing industry is significant financially with Uber and Lyft as a leading players. Both companies are publicly traded with significant market cap. Both companies went from zero revenue to billions of dollars short period of time.

The technology the “app” was the key enabler to existence of the ride-sharing industry including payments.

Ride-sharing disrupted the traditional taxi industry for ground transportation of individuals.

Prediction of the market value for robotaxi industry are significant trillions of dollars.

Opt in program
Current and future autonomously enabled vehicle owners can opt-in to participate in robo-taxi program. Potentially, generating passive income or direct income depending on their requirements and capability.

In the United States, many states require drivers that are transporting people to have a chauffeur’s license.

Back ground Chauffeur:
Similar to a taxi driver, a professional chauffeur is responsible for transporting clients from one place to another while ensuring safety and comfort.

Where the jobs differ is instead of running a meter or searching the city for passengers, chauffeurs usually have a pre-determined schedule or they work exclusively for specific clients.

Does Virginia have chauffeur license?
What do I need to do to operate a limousine and/or executive sedan for compensation within Virginia? You must obtain a Contract Passenger Carrier certificate. To obtain the authority, you must submit an Operating Authority Certificate or License Application (OA-150) with all of the required documentation

Chauffeur drivers are trained on a professional level to take proper safety precautions whenever they’re behind the wheels with a business executive. On the other hand, a commercial driver (CDL) professionally handles heavy trucks and other vehicles used for transportation of various cargo

What does chauffeur meaning in slang?
The literal meaning of the French noun chauffeur (from the verb chauffer, meaning “to heat”) is “one that heats.” In the early days of automobiles, French speakers extended the word to those who drove the “horseless carriage,” and it eventually developed an extended sense specifically for someone hired to drive other
Female Chauffeuse
Chauffeur” is a masculine French word, with the feminine equivalent being “chauffeuse” but, like many historically gendered professions, “chauffeur” has now become the accepted gender-neutral term, with “chauffeuse” now more likely to be used to describe a chair by a fireplace

Background Information:

When the car is FSD without supervision, i.e. Robotaxi, you’ll be able to earn far more than monthly lease/loan cost by allowing others to use it. Managing a small fleet of Robotaxis will be a career for many & much better than driving a single car. “ October 2019 – Elon Musk

Musk has long-championed the concept of autonomous vehicles, in 2019 calling Tesla vehicles “appreciating assets” because of his confidence that Tesla owners could one day deploy their vehicles as robotaxis
and make money on the cars instead of leaving them in parking lots.

Elon Musk’s robotaxi plan help Tesla owners make $30,000 a year? Per vehicle, potentially small business owners can have many vehicles 10 Vehicles could earn as much as $300,000 per year cross revenue possibly.

Elon Musk further noted that by next year, Tesla would have 1 million vehicles on the road that could potentially take part in its Robotaxi fleet. The CEO expects each car to be capable of doing around 100 hours of work per week, allowing owners to make money as the electric vehicles drive passengers to and from their destination

Ark Estimates $11–12 Trillion Robotaxi Market in 2030
July 28, 2021 by Brian Wang
ARK estimates that autonomous driving could reduce the cost of ride-hail significantly, expanding the addressable market. Today, the average price of an Uber is $2 per mile, while Didi is $0.50-$.70 per mile. We estimate that autonomous ride-hail vehicles will have higher utilization rates than human-driven cars, as well as lower labor and insurance costs. At scale, ARK estimates that an autonomous taxi platform could price rides profitably at 25 cents per mile

What is it with change? You know there’s no going back and that you’ll love it eventually, but the often the very idea of it is too much to handle. Case in point; the car. Back in 1803, the great engineer Richard Trevithick demonstrated what is thought to have been the first horseless carriage in London. The steam-powered converted passenger carriage lasted the best part of a century, with the first US version appearing in around 1863. However, it was doomed to fail and be supplanted by vehicles powered by the internal combustion engine (although what really spelled the end for the steam carriage was the rise of the railways, which were much more suited to regulated steam power than roads).

In fact, work on petrol-driven vehicles was underway throughout the nineteenth century. By 1885, Karl Benz (later to partner with Daimler and his company’s Mercedes brand) started a rudimentary production line for his petrol-powered car, although it was the Model T from Ford in 1908 that turned the car into a mass market product.

In those early days of the industry, the “car” was seen as a menace and a mechanical monster by large sections of the population. Luckily private investment managed to drive through (bad pun intended) the development of the car, as wealthy individuals attracted by the prestige, the speed and no doubt the danger, provided the financial backing. The fear of many people about trusting their lives to a carriage that had no horses was understandable. Remember that streets and towns were never designed for vehicles, adding to the peril.

But the car was here to stay. The influential wealthy elites (especially in France, which after all gave us the name “automobile”) ensured their success. But what is often overlooked is that most of these early car owners didn’t drive themselves – they employed (another adopted French word) chauffeurs.

Fast forward to today. The prospect of autonomous vehicles – and silent electric ones at that – is proving equally terrifying to many people. They will soon be faced with vehicles that look different to the cars of today (whose design is constrained by chassis and combustion engine space requirements), are powered by a different energy source, and require a different type of driver. Is a computer algorithm and real-time sensor/actuator system any different from employing a liveried chauffeur to perform the mysterious act of “driving” and controlling the car? Not really. And are our towns and cities suited to these new vehicles? No they are not, and they will need to be rebuilt.

The combustion-engine car lasted a few decades longer than the steam powered horse carriages (and proved far more successful), but now it’s time for another change. It will happen, and people will accept that change, but there will be difficulties along the way.

All of which leads us to three separate news stories that have emerged in the past 24 hours, all relating to the human acceptance (or otherwise) of the autonomous vehicle.

Trust me, I’m an autonomous vehicle
Intel has been pushing its work on autonomous vehicles recently, with numerous media updates. It says that passenger trust is the key to our autonomous future, even with perfect self-driving. It quotes a 2016 AAA study that found that 75 per cent of Americans are afraid to ride in self-driving cars.

“We are really close to perfecting the technology for self-driving cars,” said Jack Weast, senior principal engineer and the chief systems architect of Intel’s Autonomous Driving Group, “but our driverless future won’t go anywhere if people don’t trust it. The difference between theory and practice comes down to this: People are downright scared of robot cars.”

Intel recently conducted a ‘trust interaction’ qualitative study with autonomous car passengers who had no previous exposure to driverless cars. Apparently, every single participant experienced a huge leap in their confidence level after their journey.

The research identified seven areas of tension that warrant further exploration and Intel plans to continue user experience research in these areas to help the industry deliver a trustworthy driverless car experience. The human machine interface (HMI) tension points were identified as follows:

Human vs. machine judgment: Participants were concerned about the absence of human judgment in a driverless car for handling nuanced situations like jaywalkers or other drivers cutting ahead of the autonomous car.
Personalized space vs. lack of assistance: The idea of having free time while riding in a self-driving vehicle was welcomed, but participants were also concerned about the lack of accountability when there is no driver.
Awareness vs. too much information: Most participants anticipated a learning curve to get comfortable with the autonomous driving system, but they felt some of the alerts and communications might become bothersome and intrusive.
Giving up control of the vehicle vs. gaining new control of the vehicle: For some, riding in the back seat where there were no vehicle controls was an uneasy feeling, but they also valued new control experiences, such as the ability to summon a vehicle and open it using a mobile device.
How it works vs. proof it works: Understanding how the technology functions and its full capabilities was paramount to participants.
Tell me vs. listen to me: While participants were comforted by the car’s human “voice,” many wondered if they could use their own voice to communicate with the car.
Rule-following machines vs. human interpretation of the rules: While safety was the number one factor for trust among participants, there were nuances in their interpretation of safety, as their own behaviour as drivers was not always safe or by the book.
Fear factor
If 75 per cent of Americans said last year that they were afraid to ride in self-driving cars, what has happened twelve months on? Not very much, according to a new Gartner survey. This survey polled around 1,500 people in the US and Germany and found that 55 per cent will not ride in a fully autonomous vehicle. Like Intel, Gartner cautions that consumer and social acceptance is a key driver in autonomous vehicle adoption.

“Fear of autonomous vehicles getting confused by unexpected situations, safety concerns around equipment and system failures and vehicle and system security are top concerns around using fully autonomous vehicles,” said Mike Ramsey, research director at Gartner.

Survey respondents agreed that fully autonomous vehicles do offer many advantages, including improved fuel economy and a reduced number and severity of crashes. Additional benefits they identified include having a safe transportation option when drivers are tired and using travel time for entertainment and work. The survey found that consumers who currently embrace on-demand car services are more likely to ride in and purchase partially and fully autonomous vehicles, signifying that these more evolved users of transportation methods are more open toward the concept of autonomous cars.

“Autonomous driving technology will fundamentally transform the automotive industry, changing the way vehicles are built, operated, sold, used and serviced,” added Ramsey. “The industry is investing in new safety and convenience technology at a rate not seen since the dawn of the automobile. The experience of owning and operating a car will be dramatically different in ten years.”

Gartner believes that as of mid-2017, more than 46 companies are building artificial intelligence-based software to control autonomous vehicles. In a glimmer of good news, it adds that 71 per cent of its survey respondents said they may consider riding in a partially autonomous vehicle. Hey, it’s a start!

Human fallibilities
Whilst not specifically focused on autonomous vehicles, a new initiative in Japan will undoubtedly feed into the autonomous driving development work. Accenture has announced that it is collaborating with Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance and Daiichi Kotsu Sangyo in Japan to build a deep learning algorithm using the Intel IoT Platform Reference Architecture to better understand individual driving habits and identify new ways to transform driver safety.

Accenture will use the input to develop an algorithm that will automatically assess the accident risk for each driver by collating and analysing images, biometrics, and vehicle data indicating speed and driving behaviour. Deep learning will be integral to the data platform and could enable transportation companies to provide personalized safety instructions for drivers, helping reduce the number of accidents.

“Rapid advances in IoT and autonomous driving technologies are bringing new challenges that can only be addressed by using new technologies such as this deep learning algorithm,” said Takuya Kudo, Data Science Center of Excellence global lead and Japan lead for Accenture Analytics.

In an initial Proof of Concept experiment conducted in March 2017 that used data collected from 100 taxis and 100 drivers, the deep-learning algorithm created intelligence that identified signs of drivers’ drowsiness and near-miss accidents from their heart-rate changes and driving behaviour.

Vehicles from horse-drawn carriages to the latest Tesla model have always presented dangers, with many of these been down to human errors and fallibilities. Will AI-based autonomous fare any different, or will we be faced with all too predictable headlines about the Rise of the Killer Robot Cars?

Effectively utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and artificial general intelligence (AGI) is planned for everything.

Definition of Effectively
in such a manner as to achieve a desired result.
“make sure that resources are used effectively

The world is changing rapidly in part because of artificial intelligence capabilities. Effectively, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into activities is critically important for effectiveness.

Every activity needs to be reevaluated and artificial intelligence especially equipment needs to be considered for the task, assignment and missions.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is embedded or soon will be embedded in many new products and services including equipment.

Particularly, non-profit organizations must embrace and utilize artificial intelligence directly or indirectly with the products, services and equipment they utilize for helping to make the world better.

Artificial intelligence increases the probability to make sure resources are used effectively.

Elon Musk — Effectively
Re: Elon Musk Says It’s ‘Very Hard to Give Away Money Effectively’ -Elon Musk says he’s not concerned getting recognition for donating money.

He says this makes philanthropy a challenge: “It is very hard to give away money effectively.”

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO is the world’s richest person, with a net worth of roughly $260 billion.
Influence & support AI controls

Planning to influence and support directly artificial intelligence controls in Washington DC. Educating and providing educational information including personal interaction and experiences with equipped artificial intelligence vehicles and equipment is planned. When seeking positive outcomes politically it’s imperative to include real world experiences and more closely with staff not just upper high level decision makers. The staffers are significantly instrumental in legislation, rulemaking and other aspects. Must implant to work with staffers on artificial intelligence controls.

Tesla Vehicle’s & Robot’s AI

The Tesla electric vehicles (most models) and Tesla Bot (Humanoid Robot) Optimus reportly, have artificial intelligence. Tesla’s hardware 4.0 (HW4) reportly operates with artificial intelligence.

Many people do not understand that artificial intelligence is or will be embedded in products and services they procure.

Within our planned solutions, it’s possible and likely we will be utilizing both Tesla’s artificial equipment. Current plans include utilization of cybertruck with AI and Tesla’s Bot with AI. The combination of AI technologies is potentially incredible. Combined with SpaceX Starlink advanced communications global satellite system. Significant new thoughts and thinking are necessary for all activities.

AI Warnings -Elon Musk

Musk, however, is resolute, calling those who push against his warnings “fools” at SXSW.

So-called AI experts -Elon Musk

“The biggest issue I see with so-called AI experts is that they think they know more than they do, and they think they are smarter than they actually are,” said Musk. “This tends to plague smart people. They define themselves by their intelligence and they don’t like the idea that a machine could be way smarter than them, so they discount the idea — which is fundamentally flawed.”

Based on his knowledge of machine intelligence and its developments, Musk believes there is reason to be worried.

Elon Musk Is Using Trillion Dollar Power to Create AGI

What is Project Dojo, and why does it matter?

Necessity breeds innovation: Tesla’s million-plus fleet of vehicles generates huge amounts of data, and the self-driving systems behind them require vast sums of real-world data. The computational demands for training these neural nets are huge, and since Tesla didn’t want to be limited by the general-purpose graphics processing units (GPUs) available, it decided to build something better. (Elon Musk Dojo supercompter, potentially available to individuals & entities for processing information/data).

Why AI

The processing power of artificial intelligence is incredible and difficult to comprehend compared to human. AI enabled device, vehicle or equipment can process information more rapidly than humans it has significant benefits to performing tasks.

As with all new technology it can be used for goods or for bad. Hey I can be beneficial to humanity for detrimental. It’s up to you humans to decide, how control and deploy AI effectively so that the AI is beneficial to humanity.

It is highly unlikely that proper controls on the artificial intelligence will occur from political legislation, regulation or other well-intentioned controls. Comprehension of the magnitude and the overall Ai technology is mind-boggling. Objective strategy cannot just be one-country attempting to control AI.

Donating is complicated.

Don’t donate, never only make donations of cash. Many times in-kind or purchasing assets needed is better.

Nonprofit organizations seek donations and oftentimes submit grant request, when grantor publishes grant availability

The problem

Many sophisticated organized large nonprofit organizations are funding machine. They often say that they support grassroots non-profit organizations close to the need.

For example a large natural disaster happens with significant amount of news coverage the large nonprofits crank-up the machine to raise as much money as they can during the crisis and High Media attention strategic interviews arranged by public relations teams.

Non-profit certification organization work with the largest nonprofits

In the United States for donation to be tax deductible must provide funds to a internal revenue Service 501c3 organization for tax exempt status purposes. It sometimes takes 6 months or more to get tax exemption letter from the internal revenue Service (IRS) some are never approved.

The solution

Strategically support grassroots Mission focus non-profit organizations directly.

In-kind Contributions
It makes no sense for a non-profit organization to raise money and then purchase access they need to fulfill their mission. It’s it’s likely to be better that philanthropist purchase the assets needed and making available to mission focus nonprofit.

Public relations stunts
Sometimes the party involved I’m motivated by public relation stunts.

Financing structure

Philanthropist funding source financing structure like venture capitalists in a for-profit funding transactions for startup.

Subordinate debenture
Loaning cash assets to nonprofit
Assets purchase have security interests lean in behalf of the philanthropist or foundation

Efficient Mission focusing

Philanthropy

Direct involvement of people and assets is better.

Philanthropist

Self-made philanthropists are best because they know how to build an organization for success.

Elon Musk Says It’s ‘Very Hard to Give Away Money Effectively’

Elon Musk is the richest person in the world, but he says it’s still hard to give away money to do good.

“When it comes to donations, I’d say it is very difficult to give away money effectively,” Musk said in a recent conversation with Mathias Döpfner, the CEO of Insider’s parent company, Axel Springer.

When asked about the goals of his foundation, Musk said he cares more about the outcomes, not optics, of philanthropy. This, he says, makes it harder for him to give away money “effectively.”

“If you care about the reality of doing good and not the perception of doing good, then it is very hard to give away money effectively,” he said. “I care about reality. Perception be damned

“I do want to emphasize that SpaceX and Tesla fundamentally intend to improve the quality of the future,” he said. “Especially in terms of usefulness to humanity. Tesla by accelerating sustainable energy. And SpaceX by making multiplanetary intercourse possible. This is more than I can do myself.”

Musk is one of the richest people in human history, with a net worth of roughly $260 billion. When asked how he felt about this, Musk said he thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin is “significantly richer than me.”

In response to criticism surrounding his perceived lack of philanthropy, Musk argued that all his existing ventures, including Tesla and SpaceX, are philanthropic because they exist to “do good for the future of humanity.”

Tesla aims to “accelerate the advent of sustainable transport and energy” and Space X is “providing internet to the least served people around the world.” The evidence of their “good” is fairly ample. Musk recently used SpaceX to support Ukraine by maintaining connectivity in some of the areas hardest hit by the war. But we must ask the question: Is this philanthropy?

Musk has a fraught relationship with giving. He recently argued that fellow billionaires employ philanthropy simply as a façade to curry public favor. In late November, he donated $5.7 billion “to charity” without disclosing any further details. It is not clear where his money has gone. But if this donation is legitimate, it would rank Musk as America’s second-biggest donor after Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates last year.

Many people are quick to criticize philanthropists–for giving too little, for giving to the wrong initiatives, or for giving for the mere sake of giving–but it’s difficult to give away money effectively. You cannot throw money at world problems and expect them to be instantly resolved.

Despite the backlash, Musk raises a good point: Money isn’t necessarily the answer. It’s how that money is used. He once said that “if you care about the reality of doing good and not the perception of doing good, then it is very hard to give away money effectively,” and I agree.

Philanthropy requires thoughtfulness. It requires a passion coupled with a strategic collaboration of expertise to ensure targeted and effective action.

I am tackling the largest disability in the world: poor vision. It cannot be solved through donation alone. It requires expertise, teamwork, risk, and it’s largely a matter of trial and error.

The criticism of Elon Musk fails to acknowledge that innovation is a core aspect of philanthropy. If we want to tackle the world’s largest issues, we need technologies and ideas to emerge that offer new solutions. Musk’s businesses may not look like acts of philanthropy, but their ground-breaking innovations could be just that.

Twitter offers another crucial opportunity for Musk to do “good for the future of humanity” by ensuring those who do not have a voice on the ground can find one online. The internet was designed to turn the world into a village, after all, and has done so successfully.

In the right hands, it could be used to build a global community. Thus far, Twitter’s algorithm has primarily amplified extreme rhetoric, turning the conversation into for-and-against debates that spark engagement. Misinformation and offensive sentiment are rife. This is exactly where Musk has the opportunity to do good by continuing to protect free speech while tweaking the algorithm to boost purposeful stories.

With his PayPal savvy, perhaps Elon Musk could incorporate a donations portal into the social media platform. He could make giving a core way people engage via Twitter and thus democratize philanthropy on a global scale.

Elon Musk certainly resembles a philanthropist in many ways: He is opinionated, smart, and forward-thinking. He yields great wealth, but his superpower is his influence. I hope he will use this influence to change one of the world’s most popular online platforms “for the good of future humanity.”

Twitter has rarely made the world a better place. Musk has rarely fully engaged with philanthropy. But if he is truly committed to doing good, Musk can flip the script.

“If you care about the reality of doing good and not the perception of doing good, then it is very hard to give away money effectively,” he said. “I care about reality. Perception be damned.”Despite what he described as a challenge to philanthropic efforts, Musk said, “I’m always looking for ways to give away money that are effective,” he continued.

The SpaceX and Tesla CEO brought up a number of social causes during the conversation.

“There’s obviously environmental causes, there is education, especially science and engineering education,” he said. “Pediatric healthcare. Hunger these days is more of a political and logistics problem than it is not having enough food. There is a lot of food. In the US and many countries, the issue is more obesity than it is hunger.”

Musk also touched on the positive change he hopes SpaceX and Tesla will bring.

“It is very hard to donate money,” Musk said in a May 7 tweet.

The full quote, which appeared to be missing a couple of words, was, “It is very hard to donate money if you [care] about it doing actual good [and] not merely the appearance of it.”
