Apple

Get a sneak peek at the hand-tracking and occlusion capabilities of Apple’s upcoming Vision Pro headset.

FACTS
Apple’s upcoming Vision Pro headset, set to launch in the coming months, is expected to use hand-tracking as its primary input method. The device’s hand-tracking technology is divided into two capabilities: ‘hand-tracking’ and ‘hand-occlusion’. Hand-tracking refers to the 3D model of the hand, its joints, and fingertip positions used for interaction, while hand-occlusion deals with overlaying the user’s real hand onto virtual content.

A video posted by a Vision Pro developer using Unity shows the hand-tracking and occlusion capabilities of the device. It reveals that hand-occlusion is quite effective, although there is some clipping around the edges of the hand when surrounded by virtual content and moving quickly. The actual hand-tracking position appears to lag behind the hand-occlusion by about 100–200ms. However, it is difficult to determine the true latency of Vision Pro’s hand-tracking, as the video only shows the occlusion-tracking hands for comparison.

Video: Unknown, first reported by Road to VR

CONTEXT
No VR Controllers planned for Apple Vision Pro
The use of hand-tracking in VR/AR devices is not new, but the level of precision and realism that Apple’s Vision Pro seems to offer is significant. The device uses a ‘look and tap’ modality, combining hand-tracking with eye-tracking for system-level interactions. Developers can also build applications that allow users to interact directly with applications using their hands. This technology could potentially change the way users interact with VR/AR experiences, making them more immersive and intuitive.

There have been reported production problems and VR controller rejection issues with Apple’s Vision Pro. The device will not support VR controllers, instead opting for a ‘more elegant solution’ using hand- and eye-tracking, says Apple. Only certain Bluetooth keyboards for text input in the Vision Pro and gaming controllers from Sony’s Playstation and Microsoft’s Xbox consoles are initially supported.

OPINION
Is hand-tracking enough for VR?
The introduction of hand-tracking and occlusion capabilities in Apple’s Vision Pro could revolutionize the VR/AR industry. The ability to interact directly with virtual content using one’s hands makes VR/AR experiences more immersive and intuitive. However, the apparent latency issues highlighted in the developer video could be a potential drawback, potentially affecting the user experience. High latency is also an issue with the Quest 3’s hand-tracking.

The absence of VR controllers might be considered a disadvantage by some, especially those who are used to traditional VR gaming experiences. However, this decision seems to be in line with Apple’s aim to create a sleek, elegant device with minimal accessories. Furthermore, gaming does not seem to be a major focus for Apple, although VR games have already been announced for the Vision Pro. Moreover, the support for certain Bluetooth keyboards and gaming controllers could partially offset this disadvantage.

Background Three — Producer

Notes: new Vision Producers, will have a special expand capabilities and responsibilities.

A. What does a producer do?

Producers make the business and financial decisions for a film, stage production, or TV show.

They raise money for the project and hire the director and crew, which may include designers, editors, and other workers.

B. Executive producer (EP) is one of the top positions in the making of a commercial entertainment product.

Depending on the medium, the executive producer may be concerned with management accounting or associated with legal issues (like copyrights or royalties).

C.Is an executive producer higher than a producer?

The executive producer sits at the top of the production hierarchy as it is their job to source and secure financing for production.

Without them, a film or show could never be made as they are the ones who kickstart the project.

Their role goes beyond just getting a project off the ground.

Digital Piano’s, sound like a real piano, at the same time, advances in technology have made it possible for digital pianos to reproduce sounds very close to those of an acoustic piano, and even the feel of the keyboard can be closely simulated by various mechanisms. A highly sophisticated instrument developed throughout the long history of piano music.

Digital pianos are not loud, and that is due to the electronics and mechanics. If a digital piano is able to produce high notes with a high volume, it will distort the sound.

Planning on utilizing digital pianos because they enable much greater flexibility for movement indoor and outdoor weather conditions and other aspects the same sound quality as an acoustical piano.

Selected digital pianos have higher-quality key action, more realistic sound samples, excellent speakers, and additional features such as weighted keys, touch sensitivity, and a wider range of instrument sounds.

In comparison to acoustic pianos, digital pianos are more flexible and portable. Plus, the lack of tuning requirements.

A digital piano is maintenance free – there are no hammers and strings to produce sound so there’s no tuning required. Also means that they are less sensitive to room climate changes so can be placed anywhere, indoors and outside.

The difference between a digital keyboard and a digital piano? Planning piano, not keyboards primarily.

Vision Learning Profile

Version 5.0
28 December, Friday
12 pm

Underdevelopment is our “Vision Learning” planning on utilizing Apple products for new innovative Vision Learning. Spatial learning techniques with spatial technologies.

Vision Learning XR is expected to be revolutionary for education/learning.

Extended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term encapsulating Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and everything in between.

Spatial computing is the digitization of activities involving machines, people, objects, and the environments in which they take place to enable and optimize actions and interactions.

Spatial computing refers to the process of using digital technology to make computers interact seamlessly in a three-dimensional world using augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR). Spatial computing uses physical space to send input and receive output from a computer.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) learning continuous development.

Terms Apple used when launching the Vision Pro, and completely left out. Words like “AI” were notably missing from Apple’s launch of its mixed-reality headset.

Instead, Apple used words like “machine learning” and “spatial computing” to describe Vision Pro.

AI is believed to central to Apple’s Vision Pro augmented reality headset — specifically FaceTime on the Vision Pro.

Using machine learning, the Vision Pro can create a virtual avatar of the wearer, interpolating out a full range of facial contortions — down to the skin tension and muscle work.

Apple unveiled, Apple Vision Pro, as a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world, while allowing users to stay present and connected to others.

Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer reportly, It could possibly, allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us.

Vision Pro reportly, creates an infinite canvas for apps that scales beyond the boundaries of a traditional display and introduces a fully three-dimensional user interface controlled by the most natural and intuitive inputs possible — a user’s eyes, hands, and voice.

Featuring visionOS, the world’s first spatial operating system, Vision Pro lets users interact with digital content in a way that feels like it is physically present in their space.

The breakthrough design of Vision Pro features an ultra-high-resolution display system that packs 23 million pixels across two displays, and custom Apple silicon in a unique dual-chip design to ensure every experience feels like it’s taking place in front of the user’s eyes in real time.

Apple’s iPhones 15 Pro and Pro max reportedly capable of spatial recording, three dimensional (3D) images and audio. Apple’s Airpods (Gen3) special new version plays advanced audio. The Apple smartphone and earbuds utilization for special content development including interactive spatial computing curriculum.

Apple’s Vision Pro headset reportly offering many benefits for Vision Learning.

Strictly using the definitions of AR and VR that we’ve relied on in the past, the Apple Vision Pro is unquestionably a VR headset. It’s an opaque (to the wearer) heads-up display that completely covers and takes over the user’s vision.

Headset with cameras expands content development and playback functionality.

The Vision Pro, is a fully functional, wearable computing platform (computer, monitor, keyboard, audio device) that sits on your face, reportly.

Online virtual and physical schooling. Planning classroom climate controlled Domes and outdoor kitchens in Domes for food and drinks. Portable restroom modules are planned.

Philanthropists are encouraged to participate.

Billion Dollars -for- Billion Students is a conceptual plan. Teaching useful skills and talents for earning virtual and physical globally is contemplated.

Integration of Tesla vehicles (parked operating in climate controlled camp mode) and Apple’s Vision Pro headsets , could potential create the ultimate classroom.
SpaceX Starlink space communications system and energy storage completes the schooling classroom infrastructure.

Spatial computing and learning.
3D objects are defined by the three spatial dimensions of height, width and depth.

Human eyes have 3D perception, also known as depth perception. With depth perception, people see the world in all three spatial dimensions. The visual cortex in each human eye first perceives the three dimensions of space as 2D images.

What is the difference between spatial and temporal media? Spatial refers to space. Temporal refers to time. Spatio-temporal, or spatial temporal, is used in data analysis when data is collected across both space and time.

What is spatial audio? Spatial Audio is an immersive audio experience that puts your users at the center of the action, making content sound more realistic.

The sound is “spatialized” to create a multi-speaker effect, similar to a surround sound set-up, but through headphones instead.

Educational Spatial Platform digitally and physically is planned.

The story Apple is telling about Vision Pro is that it’s a device you wear to “communicate, collaborate, work, and enjoy entertainment.”

Sure, you can do things on a Mac or an iPhone, but not like this. Not in a way that feels entirely new, but also entirely intuitive.

That’s the power of storytelling, and it might be the most impressive thing about Vision Pro.

It’s also a lesson for every company. If you’re trying to persuade people to get on board with something entirely new, the story you tell matters.

Deliver video content for spatial experiences
Learn how to prepare and deliver video content for visionOS using HTTP Live Streaming (HLS). Discover the current HLS delivery process for media and explore how you can expand your delivery pipeline to support 3D content. Get up to speed with tips and techniques for spatial media streaming and adapting your existing caption production workflows for 3D. And find out how to share audio tracks across video variants and add spatial audio to make your video content more immersive.

What are the three types of spatial?
According to National Geographic, there are three general types of spatial process: natural-physical systems, environment-society relationships, and human systems. These different systems help to explain how a spatial distribution came to be, such as the distribution of Irish-Americans in the U.S.

What is spatial audio on Android?
Spatial Audio is an immersive audio experience that puts your users at the center of the action, making your content sound more realistic. The sound is “spatialized” to create a multi-speaker effect, similar to a surround sound setup, but through headphones instead.

Take your iPad and iPhone apps even further on Apple Vision Pro

A brand‑new App Store will launch with Apple Vision Pro, featuring apps and games built for visionOS, as well as hundreds of thousands of iPad and iPhone apps that run great on visionOS too. Users can access their favorite iPad and iPhone apps side by side with new visionOS apps on the infinite canvas of Apple Vision Pro, enabling them to be more connected, productive, and entertained than ever before. And since most iPad and iPhone apps run on visionOS as is, your app experiences can easily extend to Apple Vision Pro from day one — with no additional work required.

Timing. Starting this fall, an upcoming developer beta release of visionOS will include the App Store. By default, your iPad and/or iPhone apps will be published automatically on the App Store on Apple Vision Pro. Most frameworks available in iPadOS and iOS are also included in visionOS, which means nearly all iPad and iPhone apps can run on visionOS, unmodified. Customers will be able to use your apps on visionOS early next year when Apple Vision Pro becomes available.

Making updates, if needed. In the case that your app requires a capability that is unavailable on Apple Vision Pro, App Store Connect will indicate that your app isn’t compatible and it won’t be made available. To make your app available, you can provide alternative functionality, or update its UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities. If you need to edit your existing app’s availability, you can do so at any time in App Store Connect.

To see your app in action, use the visionOS simulator in Xcode 15 beta. The simulator lets you interact with and easily test most of your app’s core functionality. To run and test your app on an Apple Vision Pro device, you can submit your app for a compatibility evaluation or sign up for a developer lab.

Beyond compatibility. If you want to take your app to the next level, you can make your app experience feel more natural on visionOS by building your app with the visionOS SDK. Your app will adopt the standard visionOS system appearance and you can add elements, such as 3D content tuned for eyes and hands input. To learn how to build an entirely new app or game that takes advantage of the unique and immersive capabilities of visionOS, view our design and development resources.

CUPERTINO, Calif.—Going into the Vision Pro demo room at Apple’s WWDC conference, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The keynote presentation, which showed everything from desktop productivity apps to dinosaurs circling a Vision Pro user in space, seemed impressive, but augmented reality promotional videos often do.

They depict a seamless experience in which the elements of digital space merge with the user’s actual surroundings completely. When you actually put on the headset, though, you’ll often find that the promotional video was pure aspiration and reality still has some catching up to do. That was my experience with HoloLens, and it has been that way with consumer AR devices like Nreal, too.

Hands-on with Apple Vision Pro: This is not a VR headset
This was the best headset demo I’ve ever seen. But there’s room for improvement.
by Samuel Axon, Jun 6, 2023

This is Apple’s Vision Pro headset. It looks a bit like a particularly bulky pair of ski goggles, with the materials and design language of Apple’s AirPods Max headphones.

Getting set up
Before I was able to put on Vision Pro and try it, Apple gathered some information about my vision—specifically, that I was wearing contact lenses and that I’m nearsighted but not farsighted. This was to see if I needed corrective vision inserts, as glasses would not fit in the headset. Since I was wearing contacts, I didn’t.

An Apple rep also handed me an iPhone, which I used to scan my face with the TrueDepth sensor array. This was to create a virtual avatar, called a “persona,” for FaceTime calls (more on that shortly) and to pick the right modular components for the headset to make sure it fit my head.

When the headset goes on sale, you’ll be able to use your iPhone to do all this while ordering Vision Pro online. If you don’t have an iPhone, you’ll be able to go into the Apple Store, and they’ll do it for you there.

As for the vision part, glasses wearers sometimes find it uncomfortable to wear VR headsets because their glasses might not fit comfortably inside. Other headsets are made large enough to accommodate glasses, but then they’re unwieldy. In typical Apple fashion, the company wants Vision Pro users to throw money at the problem. Inserts matched to your glasses prescription will fit magnetically inside the headset, so you won’t have to wear glasses or contacts at all. It seems that this will be part of the buying process for Vision Pro.

What is 3D and how does it work?
3D objects are defined by the three spatial dimensions of height, width and depth. Human eyes have 3D perception, also known as depth perception. With depth perception, people see the world in all three spatial dimensions. The visual cortex in each human eye first perceives the three dimensions of space as 2D images.

The 256GB iPhone 15 Pro Max costs $1,199, followed by the 512GB model at $1,399 and the 1TB model at $1,599. The iPhone 15 Pro Max was announced at the Apple Event on September 12 and went on sale September 22. Good luck in getting your hands on an iPhone 15 Pro Max, though — supplies are strained right now

Capture 40X on the standard iPhone camera, up to 120X on the 3x iPhone Telephoto cameras and up to 200x on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Photograph details never before-seen on an iPhone.

What is the difference between iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max?

iPhone 15 Pro Max: Bigger screen, bigger battery. The most obvious difference between the two phones is in the size. This means that the phone’s screen and the battery are both much larger than its smaller sibling’s.

microscopic.. we use iphone to take pictures through the microscope all the time, without any attachment. It takes practice but a good skill for us (pathologists) to have to take quick pictures.

AirPods Max support 3d audio?
To set up Personalized Spatial Audio, you need an iPhone with iOS 16 or later and the TrueDepth camera. After you sign in with your Apple ID, you can use Personalized Spatial Audio on these devices: AirPods Pro (1st or 2nd generation), AirPods Max, AirPods (3rd generation), Beats Fit Pro, or Beats Studio Pro.

Alongside the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models, Apple debuted a new version of the AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C charging case.

The swap to USB-C instead of Lightning is the primary new feature, but Apple also updated audio quality in a way that may upset some of its customers.

the new ‌AirPods Pro‌ feature additional dust resistance and support for 20-bit 48kHz lossless audio when connected to the Vision Pro headset. At the time, it seemed unusual that Apple would limit a key audio feature to the new ‌AirPods Pro‌ 2 when the original version is just a year old, but that’s exactly what Apple has done.

According to the latest PowerOn newsletter from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple confirmed that Lossless Audio will not be available on the ‌AirPods Pro‌ 2 with Lightning charging case, and it is indeed a feature limited to the new USB-C ‌AirPods Pro‌ 2.
Apple in a press release announcing the ‌AirPods Pro‌ 2 with USB-C charging case touted the new audio feature, calling it the “perfect true wireless solution” for Vision Pro.

AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (USB‑C) will enable Lossless Audio with ultra-low latency to deliver the perfect true wireless solution with Apple Vision Pro. The H2 chip in the latest AirPods Pro and Apple Vision Pro, combined with a groundbreaking wireless audio protocol, unlocks powerful 20-bit, 48 kHz Lossless Audio with a massive reduction in audio latency.

When Apple Vision Pro is available early next year in the U.S., customers will be able to enjoy the most advanced wireless audio experience in the industry with the new AirPods Pro for exceptional entertainment, gaming, FaceTime calls, and so much more.

Customers who want to be able to use Lossless Audio with Vision Pro for this audio experience will need to purchase the new ‌AirPods Pro‌ 2, which are available for $249. The Vision Pro headset itself is set to be priced at $3,500.

revealed that the H2 chip in the USB-C AirPods Pro supports the 5GHz band of wireless frequencies for ultra-low latency and less interference, while the H2 chip in the original second-generation AirPods Pro with a Lightning case is limited to the 2.4GHz band. Apple says it is this 5GHz support that enables the updated AirPods Pro to support lossless audio with the Vision Pro, which is slated for release in the U.S. in early 2024.

By now you’ve heard that Apple has finally announced and demonstrated the rumored mixed-reality (MR) headset it had been working on for over a decade. Apple has created the audio-visual device it believes not only changes how we use computers, but how we interact with the world around us.

From the Audioholics perspective, VisionPro potentially marks a disruptive, watershed moment in home theater and immersive audio just as the iPod did to the music industry. Think of a single device where large-scale TVs, projectors, and immersive audio setups are consolidated into a single, portable device. And in Vision Pro (and its new operating system VisionOS), we could also be witnessing the start of a change in Human-Computer Interaction almost as dramatic as the launch of the original iPhone.

The naysayer might remark that might this is an expensive misstep Vision Pro someday to remembered alongside Apple Newton. It will certainly be interesting to look back at this article in 5 years and see what evolution has transpired. Nevertheless, whatever the future holds, nearly everyone who has tried Vision Pro seems to agree it’s a breakthrough MR headset technology. And Vision Pro is only the first iteration of a device running VisionOS.

In usual Apple form, Vision Pro is not completely new. It’s an evolution and refinement of technologies to create an entirely new experience. Apple CEO Tim Cook calls that new experience “spatial computing”—the ultimate progression of its Spatial Audio format and a fair description of the device’s new VisionOS. Since Apple considers the Vision Pro a new category, at its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC23) presentation, Apple avoided using broader terminology associated with Vision Pro’s underlying technology. It’s not just an augmented reality (AR) device, nor is it virtual reality (VR) headset. Most tech-press are calling it a mixed reality (MR) device. I’ll go with the wisdom of the online crowd here.

Make no mistake: Vision Pro is not an accessory. Instead, it’s a fully functional, wearable computing platform (computer, monitor, keyboard, audio device) that sits on your face. That last sentence conveys both Vision Pro’s greatest value proposition, and its biggest hurdle to broad adoption.

Vision Pro, is a fully functional, wearable computing platform (computer, monitor, keyboard, audio device) that sits on your face.

Background Article by others:

The Most Impressive Thing About the Apple Vision Pro Isn’t the Technology.

It’s the Story It seems like Apple has nailed the hardware. It definitely nailed the experience.

BY JASON ATEN, TECH COLUMNIST

If the thing you’re trying to get people to use is a computer they strap to their face, the bar is–understandably–pretty high. It doesn’t matter how good it is. The problem every product in this category has to overcome is that you look weird while using any of them.

That’s fine if what you’re doing is sitting at home by yourself playing a video game in your living room. It’s something different if the headset is meant to be something you might wear around people, say, at work.

Apple, however, is making a big bet that the benefit of its long-anticipated headset, the Vision Pro, will be worth it. I don’t know if wearing a computer on your face will ever be cool, but Apple is certainly giving it its best shot.

In fact, Apple’s announcement is a lesson for every company about the story you tell about your products. It’s easy to talk about details and technical specifications, but none of that matters nearly as much as the story, because the story is what convinces people that whatever you’re making matters to their life. That’s something Apple has always been very good at, and it has never been better than it is with Vision Pro.

First, it’s worth mentioning that the technology in the Vision Pro is very good. I had a chance to use one during a 30-minute demo on Tuesday, and it was, without question, the most impressive piece of technology I’ve ever experienced. It was a “Wow, I didn’t expect that” level of good.

If you were wondering whether a device that covers your face, while showing you a video feed of your environment overlaid with virtual elements, could possibly work, the answer is yes. The Vision Pro includes two “postage-stamp-size” displays that each pack more pixels than a 4K television, 23 million of them in total. It’s powered by both an M2 system on a chip, as well as a new Apple Silicon processor known as R1, which handles real-time tasks like rendering the environment, and processing information from the device’s cameras.

As for those cameras, there are a bunch of them. There are six on the outside, four that face down and two that point to the side. These are used not only to give you a view of the environment around you but also to track your hands. There are also two infrared cameras that track even the most subtle movements of your eyes, which is how you navigate the Vision Pro–by looking at what you want to do.

If you want to open an app, you look at it, and it highlights, and you use a simple hand gesture to “tap” on it. Except, you don’t have to reach up to tap on anything, you simply tap your first finger against your thumb. During the entire demo, I did this with my hand sitting on my lap, and it just worked every time.

Thirty minutes isn’t a lot of time to explore what Apple is calling “spatial computing,” but I was able to have a FaceTime call with someone wearing a Vision Pro, which meant I got to see their persona (Apple’s term for its sophisticated digital avatars created using lidar scanners on the front of the Vision Pro). You would never mistake a persona for a live video of someone’s face, but it was very good.

I also got to watch part of the 3-D version of Avatar, view panoramic photos taken with an iPhone that seems to completely wrap around you, and I was able to experience what Apple calls an “interactive spatial encounter” that included a butterfly coming to land on my finger, as well as an incredibly life-like dinosaur that came so close that I could see light reflecting in its eyes.

By the way, not once during the experience did anyone talk to me about tech specs. Sure, during the keynote, Apple described some of the technology it packed in to make all of this work, but it was only after it had already told the story. The story was the point–the technology is just what makes it work.

One Apple person told me, “Today isn’t about tech specs. We’ll get you all of that later. Today is about the experience.” Normally, that would just sound like something a PR person says about preproduction hardware, but it’s actually very important. The only thing you need to know about the tech specs is that they are good enough to make this all work, and it works very well.

The story Apple is telling about Vision Pro is that it’s a device you wear to “communicate, collaborate, work, and enjoy entertainment.” That’s exactly how Tim Cook described it during the keynote. Sure, you can do all of those things on a Mac or an iPhone, but not like this. Not in a way that feels entirely new, but also entirely intuitive.

That’s the power of storytelling, and it might be the most impressive thing about Vision Pro so far. It’s also a lesson for every company. If you’re trying to persuade people to get on board with something entirely new, the story you tell matters. Sure, some people will care about the details, but–as with the Vision Pro–the most important thing is the experience you are creating, and how well you communicate that to your audience.

In this case, Apple seems to have nailed the technology. There’s no question it nailed the story.

Tesla, the company known for its electric cars, solar panels and batteries, has also been working hard on developing humanoid robots that can perform various tasks and interact with humans.

Optimus Gen 2 is the second generation of Tesla’s humanoid robot. It is designed to be a general-purpose machine that can assist humans in various domains, such as manufacturing, construction, healthcare and entertainment.

The humanoid robot by the numbers, the robot stands at 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 121 lbs, which is 22 lbs lighter than the previous version.

It can run at a speed of 5 mph, which is 30% faster than before. It has 35 degrees of freedom, which means it can move its joints in various directions and angles. It also has a more human-like appearance and movement, thanks to its new hands, feet, neck and body.

The company has recently unveiled its latest version of its robot, called Optimus Gen 2, which is lighter, faster, smoother and more capable than its predecessor.

Planning on utilizing Tesla Cybertruck for many reasons, including reported aquatic (water capabilities). Onboard High-resolution camera suite and computer system reporting many potential benefits.

The Tesla Cybertruck is a battery electric full-size pickup truck built by Tesla, Inc. It is notable for its distinctive triangular body design with flat sheet metal panels made of stainless steel. Advanced Driver systems including potentially full self-driving and enhanced autopilot provide potential significantly and benefits.

Tesla says this will essentially teleport the truck from zero to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds, with a top speed of 130 mph. All Cybertrucks have an adjustable air suspension that can be raised or lowered on the fly and provides up to 17 inches of ground clearance. Add that to its 35-degree approach and 28-degree departure angles and the Tesla pickup could prove to be a formidable off-road machine.

Adding degrees of steering to the rear axle of a vehicle comes with a few benefits. Turning the rear counter to the front steering angle reduces the turning radius, making vehicles more nimble and maneuverable at low speeds and in tight quarters, such as parking lots.

At higher speeds, a small amount of rear steer in concert with the front can improve stability during highway lane changes.

Planning to color wrap the Cybertrucks to be the color exterior over the stainless steel as preferred and necessary for the operating environment: shiny black, white or other color considered.

Reportedly, Cybertruck as is, not planned for availability in European countries due to safety restriction compliance. Special use permits or other modifications to the trucks is tentatively planned for European operation.

Factory available accessories considered and planned especially the Tesla’s Rack for the truck bed.

Human drivers are planned to meet regulatory requirements for operating vehicles on public roadways. Exceptions for critical emergencies expected. Blue light high speed driving capabilities and approvals expected during crisis situation. Reportedly, the Tesla Cybertruck has a high speed of over 130 miles per hour (MPH).

Visual media is planned for indoor and outdoor venues. Natural beauty is focused upon. Nature offers spectacular beauty. Locations, seasons and time of day or night oftentimes makes a significant difference with visual beauty.

Portable digital audio recorders are designed to be compact, easily transportable, and rugged so that audio recordists and videographers can reliably capture sound no matter where they are.

Convenient audio connectivity, in addition,to the headphone output and external audio inputs, the audio system can connect to the outside world via USB for importing/exporting WAV/MP3 audio files directly.

The headphone jack also doubles as an S/PDIF optical out, so you can stream audio to digital equipment such as digital speakers or DAT/CD/MD recorders.

What is the difference between photograph and video? The main difference between a photo and a video is that a photo captures a single moment in time, while a video captures a series of moments in motion. A photo is a still image, frozen in time, while a video is a sequence of frames that creates the illusion of continuous movement.

Convert any video to an image sequence online. A stop motion effect is a special technique with tiny pauses after each frame.

Actually, it’s an image sequence that creates an action. Don’t mistake it for a slideshow, which is just a row of different pictures.
Video to Image Sequence. Converters enabling video to pictures selected frame-by-frame selecting the best still picture.

DPI limit, usually ~600DPI, which for a 4×6 is equivalent to 3600 dots. The human eye can’t see those dots from 12 inches. When you start printing 8×10″, that’s now 6000 dots on the long side.

Some printers, print at a whopping 4800x2400dpi, which if you were to put into “pixels per inch” (not possible, lets just assume a reasonable circle of confusion) on a 8×10 it would be the equivalent of something like 16K!
Printed pictures from video is planned and fully supported including printing arrangements in many different sizes.

Visual Beauty captured by videos has destructively change dramatically with recent technological advancements. No longer, is videography one camera, one person on a tripod or handheld. Dynamic motion videos are now possible.

Action and many natural situations are best videoed with motion. Different axis video recordings, creates dramatically beneficial viewing.

SpaceX, Starlink & Elon

The space business and public markets are not, perhaps, a match made in heaven.

Consider the much-anticipated Starlink IPO. Elon Musk’s SpaceX is the most valuable private company in the U.S., and its largest revenue driver by far is Starlink, which offers broadband connections around the globe via a constellation of low-Earth orbit satellites.

But Musk is in no hurry to spin off Starlink, despite excitement over the idea.

A big reason why? The advantages of being a private company versus a public one.

“At SpaceX, we never think about the quarter. We never think about it, and we don’t think about the stock price,” Musk said this week during a Spaces conversation hosted by ARK Investment Management CEO Cathie Wood.

As he knows from leading Tesla, there’s “immense pressure on a public company to not have a bad quarter.

So this can actually result in a less efficient operation, where you’re going to great lengths at the end of a quarter to not

Tesla Sandbagging Production of Cybertruck at Giga Texas

I think Tesla is sandbagging the production capability of the Cybertruck as it was seen today that there are over 80 Cybertrucks ready for delivery outside at Giga Texas. This comes just two days after 40 were seen ready for delivery.

Sandbagging:

Sandbagging simply means that in this case, Tesla has said that production will be difficult and slow to ramp, but I think Tesla is figuring it out faster than we think and will ramp to 250,000 per year as a run rate before the end of next year.

The channel was created by Australian-American media mogul Rupert Murdoch in 1996 to appeal to a conservative audience, hiring former Republican media consultant and CNBC executive Roger Ailes as its founding CEO.

It launched on October 7, 1996, to 17 million cable subscribers.
Fox News grew during the late 1990s and 2000s to become the dominant United States cable news subscription network.[15] By September 2018, 87 million U.S. households (91 percent of television subscribers) could receive Fox News.[16] In 2019, it was the top-rated cable network, averaging 2.5 million viewers in prime time.[17][18][19] Murdoch, the executive chairman since 2016,[20][21] said in 2023 that he would step down and hand responsibilities to his son, Lachlan.[22] Suzanne Scott has been the CEO since 2018.[23]

Fox News controversies have included biased reporting in favor of the Republican Party, its politicians, and conservative causes,[24][25][26] while portraying the Democratic Party in a negative light.[27][28] Critics have argued that the channel is damaging to the integrity of news overall.[29][30] In 2009, Fox News denied bias in its news reporting. The channel’s official position was that its reporting operates independently of its opinion journalism.[31][needs update]

After Dominion Voting Systems initiated a defamation lawsuit against Fox regarding their reporting on the 2020 U.S. election, Fox’s internal communications were released, showing that its presenters and senior executives privately doubted claims of a stolen election, while Fox continued to broadcast such claims.[32] Other communications showed Fox CEO Suzanne Scott stating that fact-checking such claims would alienate Fox viewers.[33] Fox settled the lawsuit in 2023 by agreeing to pay Dominion $787.5 million and acknowledging the court ruling that Fox spread falsehoods about Dominion.

According to Pew Research Center, in 2019, 65 percent of Republicans and people who lean Republican trusted Fox News.

New York(CNN Business)Verizon is exiting the media business, announcing Monday that it’s selling the unit for $5 billion to private equity firm Apollo Global Management.

Verizon once had great plans to become a dominant player in the online media and ad business.

The telephone company bought AOL for $4.4 billion in 2015 and further bolstered its portfolio with its Yahoo purchase at a similar price in 2017.

The unit was briefly named Oath, but Verizon admitted that its plans to take on Amazon (AMZN), Google (GOOG) and Facebook (FB) was essentially a waste when it took a $4.6 billion writedown on Oath in 2018.

An investigative journalisrs may spend months or years researching and preparing a report. Practitioners sometimes use the terms “watchdog reporting” or “accountability reporting”.

Most investigative journalism has traditionally been conducted by newspapers, wire services, and freelance journalists.

With the decline in income through advertising, many traditional news services have struggled to fund investigative journalism, due to it being very time-consuming and expensive.

Journalistic investigations are increasingly carried out by news organizations working together, even internationally (as in the case of the Panama Papers and Paradise Papers), or by nonprofit outlets such as ProPublica, which rely on the support of the public and benefactors to fund their work.

Unfortunately, basis news outlets often don’t objectively report information accurately.

Military and law enforcement it is not planned to overly support investigation journalism covering military branches, intelligence community or law enforcement agencies. Independent individuals can report on anything in the public interest.

Disclaimer the plan is completely conceptual and might not not happen as intended. Information is subject to change without notice.

What are the 5 W’s in investigative journalism?

The 5 Ws are who, what, when, where, and why. These are all questions that a writer should be able to ask and answer while composing their work. If they are unable to answer any of these questions successfully, the writing may not be detailed enough, and readers may lose interest or fail to be persuaded.

How hard is it to become an investigative journalist?

To become a successful investigative journalist, you need curiosity, persistence, and strong investigative skills. Organizational and time management skills are also very important, and you have to work very well under pressure

Tesla/Elon Support

Tesla/Elon Support Profile

Version 3.0

F*** You CNN (Cable News Network), Washington Post (news paper) and NTSB (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) US Federal Government Agency, all are bias against Elon and Tesla, because of policy and political reasons.

Elon, like he did recently during CNN hosted event said “F*** You” to policy and political advertisers related to Twitter, now X.

Self-driving artificial intelligence Tesla vehicles are safier than human drivers, so F**k-Off and leave Elon/Tesla alone to do their great work to make a better safer world, please!

What is the simple definition of bias?
A tendency to believe that some people, ideas, etc., are better than others that usually results in treating some people unfairly.

Congratulations Elon:

CEO Elon Musk has said the company’s investment in artificial intelligence and its use in both self-driving vehicles as well as its plans for humanoid robots are a key to its current and future value.

Well said Elon: “self-driving vehicles as well as its plans for humanoid robots” reportedly both the Tesla vehicles and Humanoids (Optimus) are equipped with same Artificial Intelligence hardware and software. Visual AI, likely AGI (artificial general intelligence) the next level of AI. Visual machine learning (ML) not thousands of lines of computer-code.

People will die and be seriously insured with self-driving vehicles and Advanced Driving Systems (ADS) equipped vehicles, including Tesla’s new energy vehicles (Electric Vehicles EVs). That doesn’t mean you Stop development, sales and usage. All new beneficiary developments, in the early stages have negatives. What is important is to properly with bias, preform and constantly preform, Risk-Benefit analysis. Not be policy or political driven.

Keep in mind, the United States is one Country of over 180 countries and territories in the world. The USA is critical important leader, however not the only Country.

The United States should be careful Not to push around the most brilliant person in the world employing over 185,000 people. What news reporter or politician can make that claim? Elon, is and will remain the wealthiest man in the world monetarily and much more.

Go Elon F***k-Off all the idiots that do not comprehend or understand the benefits of Elon.

My Capabilities Statements:
I’m a certified professional driving instructor, I have preformed driver training on racetrack for hundreds of hours. I have traveled to the Middle East provided vehicle driver training. The gentleman that trained me, established the United States Secret Service vehicle counter-terrorism driver program. His racetrack continues with over 40 driving instructors (I was one of the first 4). The United States Department of State driver training facilities is co-located at the racetrack.

Good Morning America (GMA) filmed Highway Safety Driving Program, with celebrity host Bruce Jenner at the track and on public roads. I was one of the Vehicle drivers in the TV program and help driver train the segment Producer Bruce’s friend Howie. We all had fun at the track and off-site, including nice dinner with grand family.

I believe Artificial Intelligence (AI) at this moment in time, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) equipped on Tesla vehicles, with a little track time, can drive better than me and any human.

I’m planning to proving the capabilities on racetrack, video segments, me vs. AI as soon as possible.

Reportly over 35,000 deaths occur needlessly from vehicle accidents (including pedestrians). Artificial Intelligence (AI) could possibly reduce deaths and serious vehicle accidents, at least by 50% planning on supporting AI Safety Driving.

Saving over 10,000 lives annually is a worthy legacy for me. Even with a small part.

I’m playing to fully support United States Regulator Relief, and worldwide for allowing self-driving equiped vehicles. I believe the regulations (not necessary for new Legislation or new regulations) for enabling self-driving high-tech vehicles is better, humans at not good drivers, especially new drivers communicating on smartphones and being distracted by smartphones and other devices while behind the wheel driving.

Self-driving technologies are not distracted drivers.

In the interim we’re developing a program for AI Safety drivers. Humans with motorvehicle valid driver’s license, operating the self-driving AI vehicles. This is a completely new type of driver. Passive vehicle driver, potentially eating money (side-gig or side hustle) payment per-mile is planned. Vertical rate of compensation per mile for the driver depending on location and time I’m driving passively the vehicle.

Robotaxing and other autonomous vehicle driving offerings expected to happen in the future.

AI Safety Drivers can occur immediately and meet all regulatory requirements.

Tesla vehicles, punched or leased, with driver software subscription (about $200/month) and Starlink space communications system. The combination creates endless benefits and opportunities.

Planning on Tesla Vehicles individually owned and small private fleets, secure: Tesla vehicle insurance, enabling toggling, between owners use and opt-in usage programs forprofit and nonprofit organization support to help others.

Many beneficial capabilities are newly available because of Elon, and his companies.

We are working on AI Gun Dection offering, could be extremely beneficial for reducing shootings, including school shootings – program includes concept of teaches, administrators and potentially students owning Tesla Vehicles parking in the schools parking lots, activity provided advanced video gun dection surveillance the AI software reportly by others, using Artificial Intelligence vision techniques to recognize guns autonomously within seconds and make notifications in seconds. Again, better than humans. It’s very difficult to watch surveillance video for hours by humans.

Suggested and re-suggesting to Elon and the Tesla team “Stop” using “Full Self-driving (FSD), its not helping.

Vedio proof, planning on coordinating video showing advance Driving Systems in Tesla vehicles avoiding accidents. Videos showing Incidents (avoided accidents) believe will 10 times the reported 1,000 accidents allegedly reported by others.

Normally, it’s difficult to prove something that didn’t happen, however with Tesla’s Advanced camera systems on all new vehicles with hardware 4 (HW4) it is now possible that video captured can prove the improved capabilities of artificial intelligence computer driving.

Coming soon, it’s planned to provide compelling video proof of improved safety with AI.

Dispite, best efforts of the current US administration agencies and big tech media, Elon and Tesla are constantly and continually working towards making a better world.

Philanthropists wanted and needed to help make it better world participation is encouraged. Participate immediately disclosure: no cash donations or in-kind donations or other financial participation has been committed to or received from Elon Musk or Tesla, to me or our forprofit or nonprofit organization under formation. Open-source information is planned, anyone can participate.

Background News Article:

Tesla recalls nearly all 2 million of its vehicles on US roads
By Chris Isidore, CNN
Wed December 13, 2023

New York
CNN

Tesla is recalling nearly all 2 million of its cars on US roads to limit the use of its Autopilot feature following a two-year probe by US safety regulators of roughly 1,000 crashes in which the feature was engaged.

The limitations on Autopilot serve as a blow to Tesla’s efforts to market its vehicles to buyers willing to pay extra to have their cars do the driving for them.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the Autopilot system can give drivers a false sense of security and be easily misused in certain dangerous situations when a Tesla’s technology may be unable to safely navigate the road. The over-the-air software update will give Tesla drivers more warnings when they are not paying attention to the road while the Autopilot’s “Autosteer” function is turned on. Those notifications will remind drivers to keep their hands on the wheel and pay attention to the road, according to a statement from NHTSA

After the recall, Teslas with Autosteer turned on will more routinely check on the driver’s attention level – and may disengage the feature – when the software determines the driver isn’t paying attention, when the car is approaching traffic controls, or when it’s off the highway when Autosteer alone isn’t sufficient to drive the car.

The recall was disclosed in a letter to Tesla posted by NHTSA, which said that Tesla had agreed to the software update starting on Tuesday that will limit the use of the Autosteer feature if a driver repeatedly fails to demonstrate he or she is ready to resume control of the car while the feature is on.

Video: Tesla car in autonomous mode causes pileup in San Francisco
Tesla has been pushing its driver-assist features, including Autopilot and what it calls “Full Self Driving,” which Tesla has insisted make driving safer than cars operated exclusively by humans. But NHTSA has been studying reports of accidents involving Autopilot and its Autosteer function for more than two years.

The recall comes two days after a detailed investigation was published by the Washington Post that found at least eight serious accidents, including some fatalities, in which the the Autopilot feature should not have been engaged in the first place.

Tesla’s owners manuals say: “Autosteer is intended for use only on highways and limited-access roads with a fully attentive driver.” But the company has pushed the idea that its driver assist features allow the cars to safely make most driving decisions even away from those roads.

A NHTSA investigation, however, has found numerous accidents over the past several years that suggest that these features do not live up to their names of Autopilot and Full Self Driving.

The safety regulator in its letter to Tesla said “in certain circumstances when Autosteer is engaged, the prominence and scope of the feature’s controls may not be sufficient to prevent driver misuse [of the feature.]” It said that when drivers are not fully engaged and ready to take control of the car “there may be an increased risk of a crash.”

In addition to the software updates, Tesla will mail letters to car owners notifying them of the change.

A history of Autopilot issues
This is not the first time that NHTSA has pushed Tesla to make changes to its Autopilot or Full Self Driving features after finding the features posed safety problems.

In February, Tesla recalled all 363,000 US vehicles then on the road with its FSD feature after finding cars operating with the feature would violate traffic laws, including “traveling straight through an intersection while in a turn-only lane, entering a stop sign-controlled intersection without coming to a complete stop, or proceeding into an intersection during a steady yellow traffic signal without due caution.”

And NHTSA and the National Transportation Safety Board have been investigating crashes involving Tesla vehicles using the various driver assist features, including a series of crashes into emergency vehicles on the scene of other accidents.

Tesla is not the only automaker offering driver assist features marketed as “self-driving.” And it is not the only one to run into safety problems. Recently General Motors’ Cruise unit suspended its driverless taxi service nationwide after California authorities suspended its ability to operate the system there after an accident.

But, because it markets the names Autopilot and Full Self Driving, Tesla has made a greater emphasis than competitors on self-driving. It charges buyers $6,000 for cars with what it calls “enhanced Autopilot.” and $12,000 for the FSD feature.

Many who paid extra for those features have told CNN they think the features are not worth the extra money. But while the features have found support among other owners, the reports of serious accidents and deaths by police and safety regulators could hurt Tesla’s efforts to market the cars and their expensive features.
