Black Tie Event

What Is a Black Tie Event? Black tie is a formal dress code for evening occasions such as a dinner party, awards ceremony, milestone birthday, or wedding. Less formal than white tie but more formal than business dress, it is traditionally worn for events after 6pm.

Black tie is a semi-formal Western dress code for evening events, originating in British and American conventions for attire in the 19th century. In British English, the dress code is often referred to synecdochically by its principal element for men, the dinner suit or dinner jacket. In American English, the equivalent term tuxedo (or tux) is common. The dinner suit is a black, midnight blue or white two- or three-piece suit, distinguished by satin or grosgrain jacket lapels and similar stripes along the outseam of the trousers. It is worn with a white dress shirt with standing or turndown collar and link cuffs, a black bow tie, typically an evening waistcoat or a cummerbund, and black patent leather dress shoes or court pumps.[1] Accessories may include a semi-formal homburg, bowler, or boater hat. For women, an evening gown or other fashionable evening attire may be worn.

White Tie Event

What in the world of wedding attire is white tie? Also referred to as full dress, white tie attire is actually the most formal of any wedding (or event) dress code—even more so than black tie—and stems from over two centuries of Western evening wear tradition. White tie attire, arguably the rarest dress code these days, is reserved for super-special occasions like royal banquets, state dinners and über-formal weddings.

What Should Guests Wear to a Beach Wedding?
These are the fabrics, silhouettes, accessories, and shoes that work best for any beachfront affair

While brides and grooms planning beachfront weddings often have stylists, shopping assistants, and tailors making sure every stitch and seam is perfect, nailing the dress code as a wedding guest is usually entirely up to you. Figuring out the formality and exact location of the event (Will you be barefoot in the sand, or is the event black tie?) is key to choosing the right attire, says bridal stylist Gabrielle Hurwitz. “Generally speaking, I think the fashion aesthetic for a beach wedding is effortless, light, and flowing,” she says.

“But, there are nuances to the dress code, and you can still have varying degrees of formality, even if the wedding is in the sand.” Ahead, Hurwitz breaks down what attendees need to keep in mind as they shop for oceanfront event attire.
Are There Any Dress Codes That Should Be Avoided for a Summer Wedding?
Understand the difference between a cocktail and formal beach dress code.
Most beach weddings will suggest either a “cocktail” or “formal” dress code. For women attending a cocktail event, says Hurwitz, “I love a knee-length or midi dress in a breezy fabric or fun print. To keep it from being too formal, you can even do a fun maxi dress and add some fun accessories, like a statement earring. A jumpsuit is a great option, too.” Men on the guest list should look for a linen suit in a pale color—think beige, light blue, or pale green. “With that dress code, you can also get away with leaving the tie at home,” says Hurwitz. But don’t get too relaxed: “The wedding might be on the beach, but now is not the time to pull out shorts—unless you’re in Bermuda, where Bermuda shorts are customary for a formal event,” she says.

A request for formal attire at a beach wedding doesn’t usually mean ball gowns and tuxedos, says Hurwitz, though you’ll want to upgrade your cocktail look. “Being on the beach automatically takes away some of the formality of, for example, an indoor ballroom wedding, but if the dress code is formal, dress up a midi dress with chic accessories, or find a beautiful floor-length gown with a slimmer skirt to match the setting,” she says. “For men, if the dress code is ‘Beach Formal,’ I’d recommend a linen-blend suit in a darker color like black, dark gray, or navy.”

Consider fabrics and colors.
The festive summery atmosphere of a beach wedding should discourage you from heavy knits and dull colors, while the specific destination in which the wedding is taking place might also influence the color palette and prints that are appropriate. “I would avoid anything too dark and moody,” says Hurwitz. “Depending on the setting, I think you can get away with bright jewel tones in a tropical destination like Hawaii or the Caribbean and softer, pastel hues on the coasts like in Nantucket or Santa Barbara.

What in the world of wedding attire is white tie? Also referred to as full dress, white tie attire is actually the most formal of any wedding (or event) dress code—even more so than black tie—and stems from over two centuries of Western evening wear tradition. Black-Tie Dress Code: The Vogue Guide
BY ELLIE PITHERS

November 24, 202Henry Fonda and Shirlee Mae Adams at Truman Capote’s BlackandWhite Ball.nbsp

“Black-tie dress code” is up there with “black ice” in the terror stakes. It rivals “black hole” with its power to confuse and befuddle. As for “black sheep”? It’s easy to feel like one, if you manage to confound a collective decision to dress in a highly unambiguous manner for a terrifyingly specific occasion.

In a world where attire is becoming increasingly casual across the board, dress code dilemmas are ten-a-penny. Fresh hell: the unhelpful cipher that simply serves to confuse—“evening”, “business casual”, “hipster formal”, “a touch of glamour” stated in tiny italics—and gives no hint as to what is de rigueur.

Even Diana Vreeland, that legendary arbiter of taste, is no help here. While her aphorism that “unshined shoes are the end of civilization” still holds, her advice on black-tie dress code events is less constructive: “The best time to leave a party is when the party’s just beginning. There’s no drink that kills except the drink that you didn’t want to take, as the saying goes, and there’s no hour that kills except the hour you stayed after you wanted to go home.”

Black-tie events can pose an unnerving sartorial challenge, but once you’ve done one, you know what it is that ticks the boxes whilst also making you feel comfortable in your official attire. From simples frocks to standout gowns, don’t be afraid to repeat outfits. It’s chic to look the part but it’s even chicer to do so in a responsible way. Yes, even royals and celebrities can be spotted wearing outfits they were papped in before. Whether you achieve that by collating a collection by season or by degree of formality, build your own black-tie capsule wardrobe and you’re set.

“So, we know when to leave. But how to arrive – and in what look? Here’s Vogue’s guide to decoding the black-tie dress code on your party invites this season:

What does black-tie dress code actually mean?
“A black bow tie worn with a dinner jacket,” the dictionary helpfully posits. “Less formal than white tie… worn for dinners, parties and balls, as well as some Season events such as Glyndebourne,” adds Debrett’s. It all hinges, however, on the host. One man’s “dress to impress” is another man’s “barely-there Balmain minidress”. Which may well be impressive – but entirely wrong for a charity gala. In the first instance, don’t be afraid to text your host for clarification on what level of formality they are expecting their guests to respect, as well as intel on what they themselves are planning to wear.

What’s the best way to navigate black-tie dress code?
Simply put, “black tie” for women best translates as “long”, and in an evening-appropriate fabric, such as velvet, chiffon, silk or lace. A cocktail dress—shorter, possibly ritzier—might cut it if your host is of a relaxed nature (or if the dress is, say, a dramatic Alexander McQueen style), but it’s best to assume that a floor-sweeping number (or a tuxedo situation – yes women can wear a trousers suit to a black tie event) is expected.

How can I predict how smart an event will be?
There will be clues. Firstly, consider the invitation medium. The thicker the woven stock of your pigeon post (and the more fanciful the calligraphy and the first-class stamp), the smarter the event. If the summons came in digitally, via Facebook or WhatsApp, you can relax a little. The exception is Paperless Post—just because the invite dropped in via email doesn’t mean it’s not a floor-length affair. The medium of text message should also be respected: it’s a method that suggests, “I’m so laid-back with my invitations”, but means “rhinestones are encouraged”.

How can I avoid making a wardrobe faux pas?
Get hold of the guest list. This will provide you with both legions of people to quiz about their personal interpretation of the dress code, as well as handy intel if you’re considering repeat-wearing an old favorite. (This is no longer a faux pas; it simply shows you know your style). Above all, you don’t want to turn up wearing the same dress as someone else. If the worst happens, create an Instagram Story immediately, then keep well away from your doppelgänger.

What shoes should I wear?
Scope out the location. Gravel, paving, lawn, parquet floor? Assess the routes you might need to take over the course of the evening and prepare to park the stilettos. Or, if you simply must wear your new crystal-strewn Saint Laurent metallic sandals, find a willing squire to ferry you across danger areas. (On that note, never, ever take your shoes off on the dance floor. You may step on a rogue shard of glass—or another guest may step on your pedicure. Either way, it’s never chic.)

Can I wear black?
Absolutely. There’s a reason why everyone else is wearing it. Just make sure your accessories are ice-breaker status—your host will appreciate the effort you’ve made provided you’re wearing a Phoebe Philo-era Céline crystal collar. And if all else fails, buy a cluster of diamanté brooches and pile them on to lapels and necklines—or in messy, bed-head hair. Tell everyone they’re heirlooms and prepare to sparkle.

What we’ve learned over the years?
Take the advice given above but don’t forget act at your own discretion. Not every black-tie event is the same, so, different rules apply. Show your respect to the host and follow what they set out for the dress code to be for the night. If ever in doubt, ask the host – they will know the answer.

The new innovative “Electric Vehicles for Charity” (EVC) program by evCharity.

Planning on utilizing electric vehicles (EVs) especially utilization of Tesla’s EVs operated from evStation’s for Charitable activities. EVs for Good

Under the umbrella of EVC for charity program sub-programs created, developed and operated. All programs and assets to be 100% managed, controlled and operated by evCharity.

Funding from philanthropist and independent individuals. No public funds from government agencies, state, local agencies or other non-government organizations (NGOs).

Fundraisers hosted and co-hosted with silent auctions for donations, augmenting and supplementing philanthropist programs support.

Entrepreneurs and businessman management. No committees for board members making strategic decision and setting the agenda.

The mission is to help make a better world.

Philanthropy donate time, money, experience, skills or talent to help create a better world.

Electric Vehicles are computers on wheels. Wheels are important because in the United States they are regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) not individual building departments. Local authorities regulate: where and when electric vehicles can be parked.

Decentralized decision-making is planned. Grassroots local non-profit organizations have significant impact and success with boots on the ground locally. Non-profit organizations programs should be administrated locally because they have the most knowledge and understanding of the community and neighborhood in which they are serving and solving a problem. The mission agenda with guidelines can be centralized from a distant location, all other activities should occur locally.

Street legal planned vehicles with license plates, appropriate insurance and any other requirements that are required jurisdictional requirements.

Advanced communication systems are planned with satellite global capabilities providing internet bandwidth.

Supplemental energy storage is planned.

At location charging is possible and planned not requiring movement of the vehicle for charging.

Proposed Programs:

EVs for Needed (EVN)
The eligibility requirements for electric vehicles for needy individuals plans to include many different types of people including physically handicapped individuals.

EVs for Vets (EVV)
The electric vehicles for veterans program, proposes that Veterans have access to Electric Vehicle. The veteran program includes temporary sheltering for homeless vets.

EV for Shelter (EVS)
Temporary emergency housing (TEH). Putting electric vehicles for temporary sheltering.

EVs for Emergencies (EVE)
When emergency happen electric vehicles potentially can offer significant benefits including with autonomous capability bringing commodities: water for victims. Evacuation support is sometimes critical. Opt-in programs potentially with electric vehicle owners.

Others Programs

evSchool, evMed, evWork evVolunteer evshopping, evAnything and many others

Digital voucher plan by smartphone individuals can sponsor other individuals for transportation one trip or many trips including round trips.

evStation’s are planned to be the physical centralized hub for the Electric Vehicle for Good (EVG) programs. Many amenities are planned for support: charging, Cafe offering food and drinks, education including Polytechnic (electric vehicle & safety driving focused) restrooms with showering, entertainment and more.

EVs expected to be high-tech with hardware and software to support Missions objects. Over the air software updates enable incremental functionality and controls. Overall the vehicles are playing to ride with settings to improve the quality of life of individuals: security mode Sentry, camp mode (provides comfortable climate control precision temperature setting, in passenger cabin), advanced communications and much more.

EVs mobility, the plan is for the programs to determine the mobility of each vehicle depending upon the occupants requirements and capabilities. The vehicle can be utilized just parked or with driving functionality by individual occupant or others potentially autonomously.

Homeless Solution
The EVG program could reduce the homeless crisis immediately. Eligible participants propose starting with veterans, can be rented, leased or sold an Electric Vehicle with camp mode capabilities. The camp mode function reportedly operates for many hours, with limited battery usage.

Third-party accessories includes: many comfortable items, including bedding (custom fit foam &air mattresses), window shades for privacy and comfort.

Some high-level restrictions are planned for the homeless program. Eligible homeless individuals must abandon the other sidewalk tent or other unsightly structures, including removing all personal belongings. Clean Street initiative is planned and required. The vehicles are not intended to be in-addition to unsightly unsanitary, unhealthy encampments.

Day-to-day management is planned to happen with block manager. The local black manager he or she will manage the vehicle fleets designated for that geographic area. The local managers will process the intake applications of individuals directly and manage the vehicles including repossession as necessary.

Vehicles must remain in the same physical condition as when first utilize an occupied by the individual. Not allowed or any items stored above the vehicle or alongside the vehicle must be compliant without all local parking ordinances.

Parking for vehicles plan to be on the street and designated parking places not for parking lots or open parking area for homeless encampments.

Vehicle insurance
Original equipment manufacturer OEM has an vehicle insurance program. If necessary an umbrella car insurance program will be established.

Block manager determines the functionality of the vehicle incrementally for the individuals including driven Autonomously and/or by authorized by others to medical appointments evStation’s for meals and other consideration including communications with family and support organizations.

Transition to society
The helping electric vehicle support programs are established to help individuals transition to society. Potentially including ownership of the vehicle for mobility for educational accessing careers/job opportunities.

Subsidization
The electric vehicle programs are planned to be subsidized. The cost of acquisition and operating expenses of vehicles subsidized until individuals can handle 100% of the responsibility.

The current program is intended for individuals themselves to acquire the vehicles with pre-approval for eligibility for the vehicle insurance and initial operating expenses. No down payment or other costs encouraged by the individuals is planned. Centered vehicle agreements are planned to be signed by the individual or designated guardian.

Pilot demonstration project
It is planned to have a pilot demonstration project starting the most needed neighborhoods in the United States.

The programs are intended to be worldwide concurrently with the United States.

Potentially philanthropist individually can have a fleets of EVS especially designated for charitable programs. Real-time monitoring of activities of private vehicle fleet vehicles is possible to ensure helping individuals is being achieved continuously.

Repossession

Violating the terms and conditions of the arrangement could result in vehicle repossession.

There are two types of vehicle repossession: voluntary and involuntary. Both are similar in that the provider takes back the vehicle because you didn’t comply with the agreement.

Involuntary repossession means that the provider is seizing the vehicle because you are not in compliance.

Voluntary repossession means that you have let the provider now you can no longer want or need the the vehicle reached an agreement to give the vehicle back.

One advantage to voluntary repossession is that you can make provisions for when you will give up the vehicle and not be left suddenly high and dry. You also might remain basketball for vehicle access comparative to involuntary repossession.

Celebrity participation is expected. Some celebrities have pre-established foundations seeking ways to help selected targeted individuals like veterans.

Foundations and other charities can adopt the electric vehicle program and brand as their own for themselves directly with coaching support. Fundraising events including with musical activities (Live Band Performances) is beneficial.

Potentially low-cost acquisition of electric vehicles benefits the programs.

Scalability of the programs. It is expected to have significant scalability with the vehicles.

Recreational vehicles (RVs)
Off road recreational vehicles are planned in the electric vehicle fleet all terrain and in water vehicles are planned for charity assisting in seach and rescue and other activities for remote difficult to get to locations and/or bad weather conditions.

Multimedia
Vehicles are equipped with multimedia capabilities, including recording in ultra high resolution including good aspect ratio.

Currently, planning to have a white vehicle fleet

Actor Gary Sinise and members of his Lt. Dan Band showed their appreciation for U.S. servicemembers by holding a free concert May 11 on Panzer Kaserne here.

Sinise, best known for his role in “Forrest Gump,” and his band entertained more than 750 community members who came out with their lawn chairs, blankets and coolers. The band rocked for more than two hours, playing a string of covers and original songs.

Later, band members signed autographs, posed for snap shots and talked with fans well into the night. Prior to the concert, Sinise and U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart representatives attended the city of Stuttgart’s Fruhlingsfest (Spring Festival), which is held annually at the Canstatter Wasen.

The next day, Sinise received hands-on training at the Panzer’s KD Range with members of the 1/10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). A morning of target practice, sniper-shooting demo and a close-quarters combat exercise ended with lunch at the Panzer Dining Facility, where Sinise signed autographs, posed for pictures and talked with troops.

Later that afternoon, Sinise joined Brett Harwood, director of the Stuttgart Theatre Center, on stage for a question-and-answer session reminiscent of “Inside the Actor’s Studio.” Some 120 students from Patch High School, International School of Stuttgart and Filderstadt Musik Schule attended.

The event, hosted by U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart, Armed Forces Entertainment and the USO, was one of six stops at military bases throughout Europe by the Lt. Dan Band.

Kevin Bacon
“I’ve often said that my heroes played guitars,” says Kevin Bacon, “and in a way, it all started at home.” The celebrated actor, currently starring in the Fox drama series The Following, who has released seven albums with his real-life sibling and Bacon Brothers partner, Michael, recalls his childhood in Philadelphia, watching Michael and his older sister Hilda performing in a jug band in the family basement.

“Michael played guitar, and my sister played cello, oboe, guitar, banjo, piano – pretty much anything,” he remembers. “They sounded great. Seeing them make music in front of me, the fact that they played instruments and were in a band, it really got to me. It seemed really cool.”

Another important development in Bacon’s musical journey occurred when he was in the sixth grade and befriended a new kid in the neighborhood, Harry. “His family was from a long line of restaurant and club owners,” says Bacon, “and they opened a seminal rock club in Philly called The Electric Factory. We were just tiny kids, but we’d go and see these concerts – Janis Joplin and all the great acts. It was incredible. Eventually, they moved into doing arenas and stadiums, so we’d go to every single show at the Spectrum. Seeing all of those bands had a huge impact on me.”

These days, when he’s not recording or touring with his brother (an award-winning film and TV composer in his own right), Bacon merges music with his regular day job, sometimes compiling playlists as part of his research for internalizing different characters. “When you take on a role, you ask yourself a lot of questions,” he explains. “‘What’s this guy’s favorite food or favorite color? Who were his parents? Does he believe in God?’ It’s like writing a biography. And one of those questions is, ‘What kind of music does he like?’ It’s really helpful.”

Bacon admits that he can sometimes get carried away: Recently, his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick, asked him to put together one of his famous playlists for a role that she was preparing for. Of the four hours of music he ultimately assembled, Bacon laughs and says, “It was kind of long.”

Different Levels of Electric Car Charging

When you drive a gasoline vehicle, the process of “charging it up” is the same pretty much wherever you go. You pull into the nearest gas station, plug in the gas pump, and in a few minutes you’re ready to hit the road.

Charging an electric vehicle is a little more complicated. You’ll treat it more like a mobile phone and plug it in when you’re not using it – either at work, at home overnight, or in a public place.

While all gasoline vehicles “charge up” at approximately the same speed, not all ways to charge your electric vehicle are created equal. There are different kinds of chargers, fit for different purposes. Here’s a quick rundown of what level 1, level 2, and level 3 charging means.

Delivering charge at a rate of 3 to 20 miles per minute, Level 3 chargers use DC (direct current) instead of the AC (alternating current) of Level 1 and Level 2 chargers. Level 3 chargers are up to 15 times faster than a Level 2 charger.

Level 3 chargers are perfect for charging up your electric vehicle quickly – the Nissan Leaf that would take 30 to 40 hours charging on Level 1, or 2.5 to 4.5 hours on Level 2, takes only 30-40 minutes to suck in a full charge on a Level 3 charger.

Level 3 chargers (or DCFC, DC fast chargers) are very expensive, to the tune of tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars, which explains why you wouldn’t have one at your house. You’ll most commonly find them in locations along well-travelled highways to allow drivers to grab a quick “top off” on longer trips. That extra speed comes with an extra cost at higher per-minute charges. You might pay about the same as gasoline for an equivalent amount of miles.

Approximately 30 minutes
A Level 3 charging station, also called Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC), can deliver a full charge in approximately 30 minutes

Tesla Semi Will Charge At 1+ MW Using New V4 Charging Cable

Planning to support charging Tesla’s Semi potentially the charging of semis will be more of a commercial to commercial EV charging station plan.

The semi truck couldn’t go to a large electric generation facility with electric vehicle station infrastructure connecting cable and other assets for large amounts of electricity .

Recreational vehicles electric, including: quads (children & adult) snow machines and watercraft potentially available depending on the location and season. Horse run carrots and hayrides planned at select locations, potentially including horseback riding provided by others.

Fun and entertaining activities planned while waiting for electric vehicle to charge. Activity coordinator works with participants to select fun activity including movie watching on large screens. Business center plan with outdoor and indoor officing. Tasty snacks are planned.

Fashion shows and trunk sales are planned purchasable limited edition designer fashions at evStation’s iare planned. Spa treatments and other wellness activities and beautification are planned.

Electric vehicle inspections, maintenance and Technology checkup Plus driver training including in-simulator for driver training are planned.

Resort including ski Resort (half-day passes) with equipment rentals, as needed are planned for participants

Space consideration and parking area plan for the semi truck connected to trailer up to 53 ft long. Convenient turnaround capabilities is planned unpaved or rock surfaces. Potentially at power plants electric generating facility.

It will still be an EV charging station with amenities including potentially Cafe with coffee operating 24/7 365 as other stations more of a commercial location less amenities possible.

Potentially, Passenger electric vehicles possibly for rental short-term in long term.

Government:

“Most Terrifying Words – ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

Infrastructure for charging EVs is discussed, considered and developed. Public electric vehicle charging is complex. Electric charging stations and port’s for plugging-in vehicles difficult to determined and reliably is undeterminable.

Original equipment manufacturers (oems) have developed and spent a significant amount of time, energy and money of charging infrastructure. It’s strange to think about any Vehicle manufacturer developing charging infrastructure. You don’t see any General Motors or Ford petroleum stations, for the internal combustion engine (ice) vehicles that they manufacturer.

Therefore, why is it expected and occurring that the original vehicle manufacturers of electric vehicles are developing charging stations?

The simplest and easiest answer is individuals didn’t not want to purchase electric vehicles without some infrastructure for charging the product.

Reciprocal arrangement between Tesla and Ford. Recently announced collaboration between Tesla and Ford with respect to accessibility for electric vehicle owners of each brand and others.

The complexity of electric vehicle charging comes right down to the plug-in point. In the past and ongoing electric vehicle manufacturers had/have different types of connectors for charging and different electrical requirements. Some standardiztion is being proposed and expect to be implemented. In the income manufacturers and third parties have developed cable adapters enabling electricity to flow from the station to the vehicle.

Further complexity related to electric vehicle charging occurs with the expectation and capability of turning vehicle at home. Overnight charging at residence is possible and occurs. It’s expected for residential charging to continue into the future.

Supply, demand and equilibrium
Logically equilibrium is pursued matching, as precisely as possible, supply and demand. Electric vehicle ownership is a complex consideration. Purchases want to see the charging infrastructure before making a purchasing decision.

Stations are often confused with Ports or Stalls, electric charging happens with the vehicle connecting to a connection point. The number of ports at stations varies dramatically depending on location and developer.

EV charging can be a lucrative investment for your business, and charging fees can bring in thousands in revenue per year, depending on your situation and type of business

Two parts:

Planning a two-part system in many cases in the urban location is the charging station with charging ports. Physically charging the electric vehicles with the number of Port matching supply and demand based upon reservation and usage patterns. What does he have a balance between humanoids robots and humans. 24/7 365 hours of operation for some ports. Electric vehicle charging hours available.

Part 2 is the potential off-site location with solar farms and other clean generating capacity. The energy produced is captured and stored in transportability within energy storage units. The energy storage is transported by electric vehicles in truck bed or trailers depending on weight and other considerations.

evStation’s locations
The location of electric vehicle charging stations conveniently located for current and future electric vehicle owners and request. Unlike typical petroleum gas stations with large tanks underground and other negatives. TV stations with above ground infrastructure can be located anywhere and including at special events with spectators owning electric vehicles.

Incentive Programs Philanthropist:

In-kind participation possibly, electric vehicles provided instead of cash contributions.

Accessibility to specialize vehicle otherwise not otherwise available is potentially beneficial.

Cash For Clunkers Program official titled:
Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS) was a
US CARS, government multi-Billion Program (It started as a $1 billion dollar program and then grew to a $3 Billion Program)

United States government’s billion-dollar Cash for Clunkers Program, Officially, called the Car Allowance Rebate System – CARS, years ago under the Program In exchange for old vehicle clunker, owners got up to a $4,500 credit for a new car. Program had lots of rules.

Potentially, in the future in the United States and other Countries and Kingdoms a similar program could happen. Potentially, philanthropist supported

Cash for Gas Vehicles, officially, like before call it: Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS).
Individuals and fleet owners received up to additional amount (Before up to $4,500 USD).

CARS Programs potentially could be developed and funded by electric vehicle manufacturers and/or others to reduce pollution.

The CARS Program potentially could be nonprofit Program set-up as a United States, internal revenue Service (IRS) 501 C 3 with donate amounts potentially having tax deductibility?

Potentially, have a challenge grant (which might also be called a matching grant) a commitment to award a specified amount of money to organization based on the amount rasied. For every dollar amount raise an equal dollar amount is contributed by others, doubling the entire amount of money available for the Program.

Many Electric vehicle incentives are available.(reportedly, in the State of California a new Tesla electric vehicle, manufacturer retail price of $48,000 after all invectives, the actual purchase can be: $20,000 for new electric vehicle. Mathematically, resulting in $18,000 of incentives.

Attrition is a term that describes the gradual but intentional drop in something. Programs intend to accelerate attrition could be develop ed and enacted. Intentionally, reducing carbon emissions and adoption of electric vehicles.

Funding sources for new CARS Programs could come from the public or private sector including philanthropist. Potentially an offset program could be created we’re by the carbon emission reduction is offsetting other emissions.

Market Bass emission allowance program could be created carbon, like years ago Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) under the Clean Air Act (CAA) in the United States.

Less air pollution is beneficial to the environment. Incentivize for electric vehicle adoption could result in carbon emission reduction

Joe Biden’s Electric Car Planners Should Follow in Elon Musk’s Footsteps

Elon Musk’s greatest Tesla successes may not be vehicles. The Tesla CEO’s lasting impact on the auto industry, and the greater world at large, is public acceptance of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) as a viable mode of transportation in modern times and the build out of the Tesla Supercharger network, experts say.

“I think up until the last five to six years, you could draw a lot of parallels between Steve Jobs and Elon Musk, when it comes to developing a brand, making it cool, and keeping people interested. Jobs didn’t invent the digital music player, but he made the iPod. Musk didn’t invent the electric car, but he made Teslas. It was very Jobs-onian of him,” Chad Kirchner, vice president of content at EV Pulse, told Newsweek.

At the turn of the 20th Century, gasoline-powered cars were going head-to-head with those powered by electricity to see which fuel would become the people’s choice. Today, a similar battle is happening, though this time with more government influence on the outcome, and on a far larger scale.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently spelled out a list of targets that it hopes to reach as the auto industry approaches a carbon neutral future. It is predicting that 67 percent of vehicles will be electrified in the near future, a lofty estimate of where vehicle sales could end up should a number of alternative fuel factors play out.

The 758-page proposal presumes that automakers and consumers will fully abandon any hybrid vehicle powertrain solution in favor of BEVs ostensibly because recently passed legislation, including tax credits, would make the cost of owning an electric vehicle and ease of charging a model more palatable for Americans, Stephanie Brinley, associate director of research and analysis at S&P Global explained to Newsweek.

Tesla vehicles charging at Superchargers.
TESLA
EPA estimates based on fuel savings over the life of a vehicle assumes that the first owner of a vehicle drives it for eight years. Brinley says that ownership cycles tend to favor faster replacement than that.

“There are a number of underlying assumptions in the EPA saying its rules could lead to a 67 percent electric vehicle share of light-duty vehicle sales. The proposed rule only dictates the vehicle emissions, not the technology used to get there. There remains potential for other solutions to contribute to reaching the emissions targets that could change the EPA’s estimates for a potential sales mix,” Brinley said

“In addition, there are consumer electric vehicle education and adoption issues, manufacturing and supply chain development challenges, and infrastructure issues which will need to be resolved to get to the EPA’s scenario. Massive amounts of money, research, technology and innovation are being applied to address each of those issues; it would be unwise to presume the EPA’s estimate cannot be reached. But it is also wise to recognize there are challenges to getting there.”

Tesla has had four major successes aside from bringing cars to market: Supercharger network location, uptime of chargers, plug-and-charge and cost of charging. Industry analysts point to these as benchmarks that the U.S. federal government should take into consideration as it works with companies to improve EV charging infrastructure and promote the adoption of EVs.

Supercharger network location
Tesla’s Supercharger network wasn’t built on the idea that electric vehicle owners needed a fast charging source for their daily lives. The company designed it based on the premise that owners would charge at home then utilize Superchargers as they moved between cities. The company built their installations, often six, eight or 12 chargers in one spot, between towns.

Tesla Model Y charging SuperchargerTesla Model Y charging at a Supercharger.
TESLA
“If you looked at a map of Superchargers, for the longest time, the oldest stations were the busiest because that’s where the traffic was. Elon correctly predicted that behavior,” Kirchner said.

This is still a relatively novel idea. Most Electrify America, EVgo, and ChargePoint chargers are based within cities and at destinations as opposed to being between them. Only recently have those companies created cross-country networks, but even then, there’s stretches of road without charging that cause many EV owners to need to drive conservatively to reach their next destination after achieving the desirable 80 percent battery state of charge. There are frequently less of these branded chargers per location than at Supercharger sites.

Affluent early EV adopters, who were often White, highly educated and owned their own home, were better financially positioned to install at-home charging systems than lower-income buyers that are set to come along as more budget-friendly EVs begin to be sold en masse.

The U.S. federal government intends to work with companies to further build out charging infrastructure, giving Americans more options on where they charge as part of Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law spending, which will see $7.5 billion allocated toward those investments.

TESLA
Today, more than 130,000 public EV chargers are installed in the U.S. The administration’s goal is to drive that number to 500,000.

“It’s extremely important for the federal government to ensure that charging stations are being put where people are actually going to use them,” Kirchner said.

Supercharger plug-and-charge technology
While some automakers have recently adopted plug-and-charge technology in their vehicles, Tesla was doing this long before it was popular, and their process remains simple to use. To activate a charging session at a Supercharger, Tesla drivers simply need to pull up, plug in and sit back as the charging session begins.

Ford’s Plug & Charge (the company’s branded plug-and-charge solution) is most similar to Tesla’s. In a Ford Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning or E-Transit, a driver must first be connected to the FordPass Connect app and have activated their BlueOval Charge Network subscription. Then they have to find a charger that is both BlueOval Charge Network and Plug & Charge compatible, which is possible via the app. Upon arrival, the customer simply pulls up and plugs in, activating the session.

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Electrify America solarSolar charging stations use sunlight to charge on-site batteries that store the power to charge electric vehicles.
ELECTRIFY AMERICA
If a charger isn’t Plug & Charge compatible, but has a plug whose end complements the charging port of a Ford EV, it may require other steps, including downloading a new app and activating payment information, before a charging session can begin, adding minutes to a stop.

In other makers’ EVs, the process often requires the download of several charger company branded apps, and a multi-step process that includes long connectivity times, to begin a charge. Some charging stations allow for direct credit card payment, but like the chargers themselves, credit card readers aren’t always operable.

EVs have the advantage of getting cleaner as the grid switches to renewable energy, so their overall emissions could get even lower if more coal-fired power plants are retired.

High emissions from dirty grids remains a persistent EV myth, in part due to outdated information on the power-generation mix, but it’s largely been debunked by research. A study found that EVs are already cleaner than gasoline cars in 95% of the world.

Even when factoring in emissions from battery manufacturing and materials sourcing, a recent Reuters analysis found that electric cars have less environmental impact than gasoline cars after a short time on the road. For instance, a new Tesla Model 3 sold in the U.S. becomes cleaner than a 33-mpg Toyota Corolla after 13,500 miles.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk doesn’t appear to feel threatened by Ford and GM. Indeed he may view them as customers.

Both of the legacy carmakers recently announced that drivers of their electric vehicles would, starting early next year, be able to use Tesla Supercharger stations, and that they would adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) for connectors. That could lead to more crowded charging stations and encourage some EV customers who might otherwise buy a Tesla to instead purchase a Ford or GM vehicle—which, on the face of it, might sound like an unwise move by Musk and company.

Government

“Most Terrifying Words – ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

NEWS CONFERENCE – I’M HERE TO HELP
During this News Conference, President Ronald Reagan refers to how the government tends to be inefficient, to such a degree that instead of helping, it often causes harm instead. This view expresses the need for a more diminutive form of government where an individual or organization can complete an activity more effectively than the whole government.

A few key points are:

Government creates unpredictability due to constantly changing policies.
The government’s goals sometimes don’t align with the nation’s goals.

With this ideology, he wanted to create and organize a government of the right size for its people, where both could work in harmony to overcome the crisis.

The U.S. federal government intends to work with companies to further build out charging infrastructure, giving Americans more options on where they charge as part of Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law spending, which will see $7.5 billion allocated toward those investments.

Today, more than 130,000 public EV chargers are installed in the U.S. The administration’s goal is to drive that number to 500,000.

General Motors (GM)

General Motors is moving ahead with plans to install as many as 40,000 electric vehicle chargers in, mostly, rural parts of America. This comes as GM plans to sell exclusively zero-emission passenger vehicles by 2035.

These will not be so-called “Level 3” fast chargers — the sort that can charge an EV to 80% of its battery capacity in 30 minutes or so — but will be slower “Level 2” chargers, albeit relatively powerful ones. They will go in places where EV drivers might leave their vehicles parked for a couple of hours such as parks, sports venues or downtown shopping districts. The chargers will have industry-standard J1772 charging plugs that can be used by most electric vehicles, not just GM (GM) models. Tesla (TSLA) vehicles will also be able to use the chargers with an adapter.

There are currently about 43,000 charging stations of this type in America. If all 40,000 units are installed, GM’s program would nearly double the current number of stations.

ELECTRIFICATION

Our path to more accessible EV charging

As our Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac brands introduce more EVs, it is our goal to simplify the charging experience for electric vehicle owners at home and in public. GM’s holistic charging approach, Ultium Charge 360 will integrate charging networks, brand mobile apps and other products and services.
Access to Charging: GM will continue to work with charging providers, electric utilities and government agencies to make home, workplace, public and fleet charging ubiquitous and easy for customers.
Mobile Apps: Mobile apps across GM’s product brands will provide an intuitive mobile experience that makes navigating to an available charging station, plugging into a charger and paying for charging simple.
Products and Services: To help ensure the transition to an EV is seamless, GM is working to offer EV owners charging accessories and installation services tailored to their lifestyle.

customers will be able to easily see real-time information from approximately 80,000 places to charge throughout the U.S. and Canada, find charging stations along a route and initiate and pay for charging.

As home is one of the primary locations EV drivers will charge for those with a dedicated parking spot, Ultium Charge 360 also includes GM’s collaboration with Qmerit, which manages a nationwide network of certified EV charger installers, helping to simplify the home charging experience. Working with Qmerit, electric vehicle owners can easily find and obtain quotes from pre-approved EV charging station installers. In collaboration with Qmerit, Chevrolet will cover standard installation of Level 2 charging outlets for most qualified and eligible customers who purchase or lease a 2022 Bolt EUV or Bolt EV.

We believe that the democratization of charging is vital to helping accelerate the mass adoption of electric vehicles.

Others

There are about 115,000 gas stations in the U.S. That figure has dropped sharply over the last two decades. The reasons are primarily a fall off in the margins owners get, and more fuel efficient cars. And, while there are only a few hundred thousand electric cars in America, that figure is likely to surge. Gas stations, in many areas, will slowly disappear.

Most electric car sales are in large cities, particularly along both coasts. A map of Tesla Inc. Superchargers show they clustered in the East. The company has over 1,000 of these. However, there are many smaller stations, and many people charge their Tesla at home. The installation of the home chargers can take less than a day.

General Motors Company, claims that it will build its own network of charging stations. It has hinted that eventually this will top the Tesla count. It is safe to forecast the other large manufacturers will build station networks, and offer home charging options. The number of chargers across all manufacturers should reach into the tens of thousands in a few years.

Manufacturers will need to build out the electric charger infrastructure. GM says it will have 20 electric car models in dealers around the world by 2023. The U.S. is the second largest car market globally-after China-so many of those models will need to be available in America. Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) says it will have 40 electric cars and hybrids available by the middle of the decade. Most huge car manufacturers have similar plans.

How soon will gas-powered cars be driven off the road by electric vehicles. If the large car companies have their ways, a decade from now the number of gas stations could be cut by half. However, stations will need to be available for older cars. The typical American car has been driving for over 11 years. But, by 2030 many of those will be gone.

Will electric cars be half of the cars sold in the U.S. a decade from now? Big car companies are betting on it. If their plans work, the gas station will quickly be a thing of the past across much of America.

Worldwide numbers
In China, according to different reports, the total number of gas/oil stations (at the end of 2018) is about 106,000.
India—60,799 (as of November 2017)
Russia—there were about 25,000 stations in the Russian Federation (2011)
In Argentina, as of 2021, there are more than 5000 stationl

Tesla Semi

large electric vehicles like Class 8 semi trucks, there really is no other way to quickly replenish the driving range, considering how big the batteries are (at least several hundred kWh).

According to the brief info, the company developed a new charging solution for 1+ MW (1,000+ kW) DC charging.

It’s not said how high the power might go. We guess that it’s just the starting point, as the CharIN’s Megawatt Charging System (MCS) is potentially ready for 3,750 kW (3.75 MW) of peak power, assuming 3,000 A (3 kA) at up to 1,250 V (1.25 kV).

V4 charging cable
What we do know is that to achieve a 1 MW charging level, and maintain a thin/light/flexible charging cable, Tesla developed a new V4 charging cable, which uses a new immersion cooling technology.

As we can see in the image below, there are 12 wires (6 each way) and two coolant tubes inside the V3 Supercharging cable. That’s enough to achieve a current density of roughly 14 A/mm2, (compared to 4 A/mm2 or so in the V2 version, without liquid cooling).

Golf Carts Push For Autonomy
Faced with the harsh reality that a future of fully autonomous cars is further away than promised, automakers and tech companies are pivoting to alternate uses for self-driving technology. Some turn to delivery robots, while others are helping deploy small, low-speed golf-cart-type machines for sites, farms or airports.

For example, Honda is testing a new golf-cart-type model. That so-called “micromobility device” is part of Honda’s efforts to help people who can’t drive themselves, like the elderly or Generation Z. In their current state, Honda vehicles are more like golf carts or UTVs. But Honda believes these machines will have their place in the future urban environment.

The new “Honda CI Micro-Mobility” self-driving EVs are set to hit the streets, combining Artificial (AI) and Cooperative (CI) technologies. Although it may resemble the look of a golf cart, Honda’s “Micro Mobility” concept is capable of much more, with features designed to shuttle around those who either don’t want to or can’t drive

Aspect Ratio

Does seeing numbers like 16:9, 4:3, 2.35, 4K, and 1080p just confuse you? This ultimate guide will demystify video aspect ratios and resolutions for you.

Intro
The video aspect ratio probably isn’t the first thing you think about when uploading your video online — but it should be! Getting the aspect ratio of your video right will bring the quality of your video’s image up to a high standard. And when viewers have countless video choices online today, you can’t afford to sacrifice quality, especially not for something as simple as the video aspect ratio.

The video aspect ratio is important, but what is it? How is it related to video resolution, and which aspect ratios should you use for uploading videos online? In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about aspect ratios for your online videos and live streams.W

What at is a video aspect ratio?

The video aspect ratio is a ratio, like 1:1 or 1:2, that determines the size and quality of your video’s image. The first number in the ratio is the width, and the second number is the height. Both the width and height are measured in pixels.

A common ratio for online video is 16:9. But an image 16 pixels by 9 pixels would be too small to see, so we use an image that’s 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels instead. Ratios may also be written as decimals, so 4:3 would be 1.33. The video aspect ratio is often determined by the device you’re viewing the image on.

Quick history lesson in video formatting
Aspect ratios go back to the beginning of film in the early twentieth century. The first aspect ratio ever used was developed with 35mm film and was the 4:3 aspect ratio. 4:3 was used until around the 1950s, when the widescreen “cinemascope” aspect ratio (2.35) took over. Aside from widescreen films at cinemas, 4:3 was the standard until the 1980s, with the rise of digital video. Around that time, the 16:9 ratio, which is directly between 4:3 and widescreen 2.35, was born. The 16:9 ratio has become the standard aspect ratio for flatscreen TVs and online video.

What is video resolution?
Now that you know what a video aspect ratio is, you need to understand video resolution and how the two fit together. Images are full of little squares, or pixels, placed side by side. The resolution is the number of pixels that make up the image on the screen, usually measured in PPI (pixels per inch). The higher your resolution, the more pixels you have per square inch. The more pixels you have per square inch, the higher the quality of your image.

How is resolution related to aspect ratio?
The video aspect ratio and resolution are closely related. You get the resolution by multiplying width by height, and you get the aspect ratio by dividing width by height. If we use two numbers to calculate resolution, why do you only see resolution written as one number, such as 1080p? 1080 refers to the number of horizontal pixels in the image, or the height. We usually use the height (the second number) when talking about resolution, so 720p would indicate an image has 720 horizontal pixels, and 4K would be an image with approximately 4,000 horizontal pixels (3,840 exactly).

It’s worth noting that almost all digital screens use a 16:9 aspect ratio; only the resolution changes. The width and the height of the digital image is always 16:9, but the number of pixels per square inch increases as your resolution gets higher. Typically, the resolution of an image or video determines its aspect ratio. For example, 1080 looks best in a 16:9 aspect ratio. It doesn’t work the other way around, though, as the aspect ratio doesn’t affect your choice of resolution.

Using a higher resolution is almost always to your benefit — a higher resolution means a better-quality image. But there are times when a lower resolution is better, like if you need a smaller file size for your video or if you’re multistreaming to several platforms at once.

Background/research

Digital biology
Digital biology is the future of technology with creative thinkers working in computer science today. The next giant step in computing technology is already under way as computer scientists attempt to create digital universes that replicate the natural world. Within these digital universes, we will evolve solutions to problems, construct digital brains that can learn and think, and use immune systems to trap and destroy computer viruses.

The digital biological world, In practical terms, means that we have “smart” devices, such as houses that will keep the temperature as we like it and automobiles that will start only for drivers they recognize (through voice recognition or other systems) and that will navigate highways safely and with maximum efficiency. Computers will soon be powerful enough and small enough that they can become part of clothing. “Digital agents” will be able to help us find a bank or restaurant in a city that we have never visited before, even as we walk through the airport. Robots may even be monitor our health.

Digital Biology is also an exploration of biology itself from a new perspective. We must understand how nature works in its most intimate detail before we can use these same biological processes inside our computers. Already scientists engaged in this work have gained new insights into the elegant simplicity of the natural universe.

Visionary, accessible, non technical language, explains how cutting-edge computer science will shape our world in the coming decades.

Digital Microscopes

For Industrial and Life Science Solutions
Powerful Analysis, Dynamic Imaging
Digital microscopes use a digital camera in place of an eyepiece to capture images that are displayed in real time on a computer monitor. As versatile and all-in-one systems, digital microscopes are used to inspect and analyze a wide range of samples across industries, including electronics, metals, automotive, manufacturing, and research. No matter the industry or application, our digital microscopes combine ease of use, flexible imaging, and smart features to speed up your workflow

Microscopes for Medical Insect Research
To achieve a clear three-dimensional (3D) digital image and facilitate the observation and study of insect structure, entomologists use digital microscopes. For instance, the Olympus DSX1000 digital microscope provides many helpful capabilities:

Extended focus imaging (EFI) to capture all-in-focus images of whole insects
Easy 3D imaging and measurement
20X to 7,000X magnification range enables accurate observation
A variety of long working distance objectives can observe irregular samples, enabling researchers to inspect a variety of insects (including larger ones)
The microscope body tilts ± 90° so that you can observe and capture an insect sample from multiple angles and obtain clear macro and micro images with one instrument
The stage rotates ± 90 ° to make it easier to observe and analyze thin samples
Below are example images of flies and mosquitoes captured with a DSX1000 digital microscope.

Agricultural, insects have a significant impact good Bee’s) and bad on agriculture with global sharing digital in real-time with scientists and other farmers will be beneficial.Clear macro and micro images digitally captured including video will be beneficial.

There are no hard and fast rules, but many eye care professionals agree that their adult patients (ages 40 and up) should get their eyes examined once a year. Younger adults can probably go once every two years. But there are exceptions. You should see your eye doctor if you experience:

Eye pain
Bulging eye
Decreased vision, even if temporary
Double vision
Vision blocked by partially or entirely by dark or blurred shapes
Loss of peripheral vision
Unusual or persistent redness
Unusual pupil size or shape
Blood in the eye
Excess tearing
Injury to an eye, including a blow to the eye or chemicals splashed in the eye
These warning signs fall under the category of an emergency. You should contact your eye doctor if there has been a significant change in your eyes or your ability to see. Excessive tearing, itching, and intermittent blurred vision fall into the “change” category, as does any new difficulty you have seeing or focusing on objects, nearby or far away, Stabilizing your vision could prevent it from getting any worse.

Amazing technologies…

Article (section)

Grabbing a still from a video clip is an established technique, but the ability to extract a 35MP image from an 8K sequence and then produce a detailed A3 print of it opens up a wealth of new opportunities. It’s the perfect way to capture unpredictable events – from a fleeting juxtaposition in street photography to the arrival of a wild animal in a rural scene. It also offers more choice when it comes to isolating that decisive moment – a subtle change in expression in a portrait, perhaps, or in the case of wedding photographer Sanjay Jogia, a glance between the bride and groom midway through the ceremony.

Sanjay and his wife Roshni run Eye Jogia, which specialises in Indian weddings and high-end destination ceremonies, and have made printing their own images a core part of their photography business. “Creating wall art and a printed album is part of the process,” he explains. “There are wedding photographers who only distribute digital packages but I think they are missing an opportunity.”

The Canon Ambassador was one of the first photographers to explore how the Canon EOS R5 can bring photography and cinema even closer together, demonstrating how easy it is to shoot an 8K video still and print it on a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-300 printer – with beautiful results.

“Shooting 8K video handheld on a non-IS lens with no other form of stabilisation was so easy,” he explains. “But being able to take a still frame, process it like any of my other RAW files, and print it out at A3 size? The result was stunning. The prospect of 8K printing is really exciting – it means we’re able to record unpredictable events or things that happen very quickly, and it gives us the chance to print those moments. Any new camera technology that makes it easier to capture stills provides us with an opportunity to sell the file as a print.”

Here, he explains how the process works, and why the ability to print 8K video stills has the potential to revolutionise image-gathering for photographers and filmmakers alike

When might it be useful to print 8K video frames?
“I’d normally just shoot stills at a wedding,” says Sanjay. “The only time I’ve shot video is for a hybrid product we produce, which merges photos into short video clips and back again. I’ve been pulling 4K stills to do that sort of thing, but never really to print. The resolution was too low and there were some limitations in terms of being able to process and grade the images.

“Now, the option of 8K resolution and the advanced colour science and image quality of the Canon EOS R5 is opening up new possibilities. Being able to pull and then print a video still gives me an opportunity to work quickly and capture things I might normally miss. During the ceremony, for example, when you know that things are going to be a little bit frantic, you can simply hit the video record button. Even during the portraits, if you’re doing anything that involves movement and motion, you could either burst through that moment in stills and generate a lot of 45MP photos, or you could shoot a video clip and stop it at the point where you want to extract a frame.

“I’m due to shoot a surprise proposal in a London restaurant and I’m planning to lock off one of my Canon EOS R5 bodies on a tripod near the couple and set the camera to record 8K video while I shoot stills from a different position. As well as giving me the option of creating a full clip, I’ll be able to pull stills from the video. I know I won’t miss any of the emotions or expressions, as I can trust the Canon EOS R5’s autofocus to lock onto the couple’s faces.”

8K will be the new Still Photography
RedShark Replay: Each still frame in an 8K video is a 32 megapixel still image. It may just be that 8K video is the best way to capture still images in the future.

With some people wondering why the new Hasselblad camera that has a 50 Mpixel sensor can’t shoot video at even 4K (hint – it’s a still camera) you would be right to question the sanity of the title of this article. But I very strongly believe that the ability to shoot at video frame rates at super-high resolutions is an important step for still photography to take.

There is simply no better way to shoot a still photo than to browse through successive frames of video so that you can pick the ideal frame. This is especially so with large sensor cameras that have an almost impossibly shallow depth of field, which can lead to stunning photos, but, more often than not, to shots that are out of focus, or which are in focus on the wrong thing.

I’ve only tried this with 4K and I’ve been very pleased with the results. I’ve used this picture before in RedShark but it does illustrate the point very well. It was shot with a Canon 1D C in 4K, and I remember browsing through about thirty second’s worth of video to find the right frame. There were lots that were just rubbish, some that were nearly right but not quite, and one – yes, just a single frame – from the entire thirty second clip that was good enough to use.

When you’re shooting a moving object (and that includes portrait photography) or if you’re shooting handheld and you have a large sensor, depth of field can be as small as a few millimetres. This might not be obvious in a small viewfinder, and it’s very easy to not notice that your chosen shot has missed that ideal point – in all probability only captured with a single frame where the shot is moving through the perfect focus point.

Having used this technique, it’s something I would definitely like to see built into more still cameras.

What might hold this back is that it’s not easy building 8K cameras. That’s an awful lot of data to deal with, and you have to have at least a 32 Mpixel sensor in the first place. Then there’s the issue that if you have a greater than 32 Mpixel sensor, you have to have enough processing power to reduce the resolution of the image down to 8K.

Except that you don’t, necessarily, for still images.

That’s because if you need to downsample, then you don’t necessarily have to do it in real time. Quickly would be good, but if you can only do it in one fifth or a tenth of real time, then it means you’re only going to have to wait a small fraction of a second to view the images. Or, the chances are, that the video can all be processed while you’re getting ready to preview the shots.

And if you don’t downsample – and why would you, necessarily – then you can shoot at the maximum resolution of the frame. 12K video, anyone? (The alternative of shooting from a cropped 32 Mpixel section of the sensor would work but would change the field of view).

But the point is that this technique is not there to shoot video. It’s there to shoot stills. So while storing 8K or 12K raw video needs a lot of expensive, high speed storage, the reality is that you’re rarely going to need to shoot more than about five seconds of video in order to extract a suitable frame.

This means that it’s OK to use expensive storage, because you don’t need much of it. And nor do you have to have all the other stuff that goes into modern video cameras, other than the ability to capture a few seconds of super-high resolution.

Let’s hope that this genuinely useful technique takes off, and starts to be offered by manufacturers. I think it will be incredibly popular.

iPhone — extract a single frame as a still image,

I have a video on my iPhone that I recorded using my iPhone. I want to extract a single frame as a still image, preserving the full quality and native resolution of the recording.

I know it’s possible to take a screenshot of video, but I’m not sure if that ends up being a lower resolution image. Also, it just feels clumsy to use a screenshot because HD the time I end up with UI controls over top the image.

Is there a way, without third party software, to extract a full resolution still image frame from a video on iOS?

What is the major difference between a 12MP, 32MP, 48MP and 64MP cameras in a smartphone
The main difference between a 12MP, 32MP, 48MP and 64MP camera in a smartphone is the resolution and level of detail that the camera can capture.

  • 12MP Camera: A 12MP camera captures images with a resolution of 4000 x 3000 pixels. This is considered standard resolution and is suitable for most everyday photography needs.
  • 32MP Camera: A 32MP camera captures images with a resolution of 6528 x 4896 pixels. This higher resolution can capture more detail in the image, making it suitable for larger prints or cropping the image without losing quality.
  • 48MP Camera: A 48MP camera captures images with a resolution of 8000 x 6000 pixels. This is an even higher resolution than the 32MP camera and is suitable for capturing highly detailed images that require a lot of zooming or cropping.
  • 64MP Camera: A 64MP camera captures images with a resolution of 9280 x 6944 pixels. This is the highest resolution camera currently available in a smartphone. It can capture highly detailed images and is suitable for professional-level photography.

However, it is important to note that the number of megapixels alone does not determine the quality of the camera. Other factors such as sensor size, aperture, and image processing capabilities also play a role in determining the quality of the images captured by the camera.

Creating content for your LED wall

Creating content for your LED wall is very different than any other type of source. When it comes to LED content…

your displays should:

Be creative and visually appealing
Clearly communicate your message
Utilize a strategy to guide your audience through your processes
Follow best practices for video and graphic content
Because this content is so large, the video wall demands attention and easily captures the eyes of those around it. However, content that isn’t catered to your LED wall can quickly miss the mark and lose its impact. Try some of these tips for LED video wall content creation in your organization and see what beautiful and engaging designs you can develop!

Know Your Aspect Ratio Right
Remembering your LED product’s aspect ratio and how that influences the items you display is one of the most important principles to understand when designing content. Design your LED graphics and media with the ratio at the forefront of your mind, and don’t change it. Creating outside the ratio will lead to distorted images that don’t look right.

Consider The Viewing Distance
Your LED screen’s viewing distance helps determine how big and bold you should make the content you’re designing so that it can easily be read by all viewers. A good rule of thumb to follow is the lower the screen resolution and the viewing distance, the larger and bolder you should make the graphics. Larger outdoor video walls, such as billboards, should have larger graphics so that those who are further distances can still read them. With higher-resolution indoor LED screens, you can use smaller graphics since the viewing distance is shorter in many cases.

Use Motion Graphics
Has a motion graphic or video ever caught the corner of your eye? If one has, you know the feeling. Viewers tend to do a double-take because the motion graphic is enough to draw them in. In general, you should try to use motion graphics instead of static ones when possible. Moving images like videos and motion graphics will get more attention than a static image or plain text every time and create more engagement with your audience.

The Three S’s: Short, Sweet, and Simple
Much like we learned in grade school at a young age, you don’t want to load down a slide with too much information or text to read. Too much text can become confusing and hard for viewers to know where to focus. Show them what you want them to see and eliminate any other distractions.

Use minimal wording in big, bold letters
Add interesting images
Make your messaging concise
Utilize Contrast and Consider Visibility
To avoid washed-out text, images, and graphics, try to capitalize on high-contrast designs. This will make your items really pop off the screen and are much easier for all viewers to read. The contrast doesn’t have to literally be black and white, but you will want to proof and test all graphic colors before committing to them on the big screen. Stick to basic design principles.

philosopher Lao Tzu
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” is a quote from the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu
Great philosopher words updated would be a person not just a man.

“Learning (teaching) how: is the plan to be feed for lifetime” new digital disrupt skills, talents and new small business opportunities with complete Independence. Building value, perhaps being Existing by acquisition in a Wall Street Roll-up initial public offering (IPO) strategy.

Years ago individuals worked for themselves. Hard work and long hours, especially on the farm. Now unfortunately many people want to work for Corporate America in office maybe four (4) days a week.

Expecting learning programs supporting men and women including all ages: teens and adults. The learning program are gender neutral
Learning programs are geographically inclusive.

To learn to be the best, especially in digital world, it’s imperative to have access to the best equipment, hardware and software you cannot learn to be the best on interior assets. Technology is changing rapidly it’s essential to have technology refresh. Consumers will want the best available technology they expect their technicians to have experience, skills and talents with the latest available technology.

Unfortunately many educational institutions do not have the budget or the resources to have the best available technology and definitely not human resources adaptation to the newest technologies.

Most Advanced technologies are obsolete when available commercially. It’s imperative to work with technology providers to receive products prior to commercialization.

Planning a complete end-to-end learning program independently from any existing educational Institution. 100% control decentralized learning. No federal, state or local government funding support.

Tesla Service Fleet
Looking to the future, it is easy to see a fleet of Tesla’s soon-to-be-announced electric pickup trucks roaming around cities to service customer vehicles. Indeed, the high mileage Tesla puts on its service vehicles each year would make using its own trucks a great option to break in the first thousand Tesla Model P trucks (P for pickup) that come off the production line.

Potentially, working closely with Tesla service fleet to visit evStation’s to perform repairs on Tesla vehicles. Perhaps, working with independent certified technician. Tesla Service fleet brings and/or arranges for the parts needed for repairs including auto body parts.

Strategic teaming arrangement (STA) would be best for everyone. Supporting indoor (Dome’s or other) and/or outdoor repair area. Multimedia supported video showing the problem and repair techniques.

Camera to cloud (C2C)

Camera to cloud (C2C) bandwidth satellite globallbally. Reported, possibly more than 10Mbps

‘Ideally, having anything more than 10Mbps upload will result in offsite collaborators having access to clips within a minute or two of the take. When higher bandwidth is available, takes are available within seconds.”

Our goal is to support the camera to cloud (C2C) with the ideal bandwidth.using: SpaceX Starlink satellite Communication System, Tesla electric vehicle: Cybertruck with energy storage.

Potentially also using humanoids Teslas Bot (Optimus)

Article:

According to Cioni, if you can make a phone call from where you’re shooting, you can probably shoot C2C. He explains that the way Frame.io’s system works is that you can throttle the quality of files up or down based on network bandwidth availability.

“At 2Mbps, 1080/24p, one hour of content is about 1GB of total footage. Since crews typically shoot between two and four hours of footage a day (or 2-4 gigabytes of C2C proxies), they can easily upload all the media spread across the shoot day,” he says.

“Ideally, having anything more than 10Mbps upload will result in offsite collaborators having access to clips within a minute or two of the take. When higher bandwidth is available, takes are available within seconds. Even a one-hour interview with 10-20Mbps of upload bandwidth can be fully transmitted in less than six minutes, so the post-production and transcription processes can begin while the crew is still wrapping.”

For higher quality files like H.265 4K, the same principles apply. 10-20Mbps is going to be enough for C2C to work “extremely efficiently – enough to eliminate any sense of delay”, Cioni says.

Sohonet is on the same page, recommending a minimum of 1Gbps both up and down to accommodate small and medium-sized productions, with larger tent pole shows often deploying 10Gbps and beyond for their workflows off set.

While there is a lot of buzz around the camera itself pushing directly to the cloud, it’s not an efficient model. According to Parker, this is more likely to occur in small budget productions, B units off-lot, or production of commercials where there are only one or two cameras.

“Most meaningful productions for episodic and features have multiple cameras and are typically using WiFi spectrum to push the data from the camera to the video village where the footage is cached,” he says. “The director, producer, DoP, DIT, etc, all want to have a look at the take(s) before agreeing to move forward with the next scene or shot.

“Additionally, large shoots employ video assist software to provide for better shot management relative to metadata, multiple camera feeds, scene in/out, etc. Pushing all of the video through a common shot manager is the most common practice for medium and large productions.”

RAW workflows – not so fast

This is all fine for the vast majority of workflows which work with proxy video, but anyone wanting to push camera RAW (Original Camera Files/OCF) faces an uphill task today.

OCF requires more like 1000Mbps before it’s reliable enough to move. OCFs are not only the largest data payload but the least time sensitive. Today, OCFs do not come directly from the cameras, but rather are being pushed to a local staging environment (on-set or near-set storage as a part of video village).

“When it comes to transmission, the ability to get OCF directly to the cloud is limited today, but we are starting to see it happen,” Cioni says. “Companies like Sohonet are working with studios to install ultra-high-speed network connections that enable DITs to upload OCF right from set. Currently, those transmissions can’t be done wirelessly because wireless networks still lack the appropriate bandwidth.”

But there is one more thing we need to solve before the wireless networks catch up: today’s cameras are not yet designed to get OCF up to the cloud without first downloading it. Cioni predicts that cameras will be developed to allow access to OCFs so that it can be uploaded from the camera itself.

“The first step is that camera manufacturers will have to create that technology, and as they make headway, the telecom solutions will continue to increase bandwidth (hardline or wireless) to allow for connections that move OCF right to the cloud,” he says

Should I film in 4K or 8K?
Arguably, unless you’re using a high-end cinema camera to shoot feature films for the biggest of screens, the best reason to shoot 8K today is to improve 4K videos. And that’s because shooting 8K footage with the expressed purpose of creating a 4K video gives you a lot more information to work with.
If you’re talking about massive theater-size screens like Samsung’s Wall or Sony’s Crystal LED, 8K would be amazing. But since 4K is hard to discern when comparing to a 1080p TV, 4K to 8K from 10 feet away will be pretty much impossible

Research

Air Quality
the air systems on planes (planned in Modules) ensure excellent levels of air quality. But that’s not all. Due to their smaller dimensions and technology, private jets like the Citation Mustang jets could offer even better air quality than commercial planes.

After a recent Forbes article mentioned that passengers fear the risk of getting ill while travelling, we have highlighted the differences between commercial planes and the air systems used by very light jets (like the Citation Mustang) for you to be able to choose the safest travel means for your journeys.

Commercial airlines’ HEPA filters VS very light jets more secure air system
When it comes to air quality, commercial aircraft are equipped with robust filtration systems known as True High-Efficiency Particle Filters (True HEPA) or High-Efficiency Particle Filters (HEPA). These filters allow a complete air exchange within about three minutes, thus resulting in excellent air quality and high protection.

According to IATA, the International Air Transport Association, “HEPA filters are effective at capturing more than 99 per cent of the airborne microbes in the filtered air. Filtered, recirculated air provides higher cabin humidity levels and lower particulate levels than 100% outside air systems.” HEPA filters, however, should be regularly maintained to ensure an effective air exchange.

HEPA filters are not exclusive to airlines; they’re used in many areas of everyday life, as well as in hospitals and other places where high sanitation is of utmost priority.

How can very light jets ensure the best air quality?
Continuous air cabin circulation ensures fresh air on board at any point in time
The big difference between commercial planes and very light jets is that the latter don’t use any filtration system. The Citation Mustang jet, for example, uses modified engine bleed air to heat, cool, and pressurize the cockpit and cabin. The hot engine bleed air is cooled by heat exchangers, regulated by valves, and enters the cabin.

The outflow valves – which regulate the flow of the air coming out of the cabin, always remain partially open to ensure continuous fresh air circulation thus minimizing the spread of viruses and bacteria
