A tethered drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle tethered to the ground. It consists of a base stations (Electric vehicle assets) which is connected to the station through the tether (cable). The drone can be operated remotely and potentially anonymously to perform specific tasks and guides others.

Situational Awareness System
Mission critical situational awareness information is continuously available on included rugged tablets and allows teams to make increasingly information-driven decisions through a simple, straightforward interface.

Reliability is one of the cornerstones of technologies. While normal drone use is widely limited in inclement weather conditions, actively tethered unmanned aerial systems (UAS) is regularly deployed in rain, snow, and windy conditions.

System consists of the Ground Station and the tether drone. A tablet or computer runs the Live App which shows the real-time thermal and low-light video streams, giving actionable information throughout their mission safely and reliably; no piloting necessary.

Aerial high-resolution video (4k & 8k) is planned for many purposes for participants. Technological access currently limited. Content focused, not equipment focused for benefits.

Executive Protection program, is planning on utilizing tethered drones, for properties, electric vehicles and more, including red-zone route planning.

The Cybertruck’s and crew-boat ramp systems facilitate rapid deployment of motorized assets on the water’s edge and in -water.

What are the disadvantages of tethered drones?
Drawbacks of a tethered drone? The tethered drone cannot fly beyond the maximum extension of the tether cable length from the fixed point which the base power station is being set up. Also, the tethered drone would not be able to fly through narrow course or path with many overhead obstacles.

How high can tethered drones fly?

The tether cable contains lightweight and thin conductors, which reduce the wind drag, enabling the drone to reach a higher altitude (around 400 feet). A Power station (aka drone station or tether station) on the ground converts AC electricity into higher-powered DC.
