As we finish out 2017, and enter into 2018 as a new year, I would like to offer the following – “Top Ten Resolutions for 2018” with do’s and don’ts. To keep your resolutions, they must become part of your natural lifestyle and have support. Our for-profit and nonprofit entities will enable you to do most of these resolutions forever. I encourage you to do them ALL with discipline!!
- Improve your fitness – Do’s: workout every day at home & outside. Don’ts: buy exercise equipment or health club membership.
- Eat Better – Do’s: daily every meal to be personalized. Suggest using the sous vide cooking technique, with personal chef support, learn more my @PopUpCafes Don’ts: Never eat at restaurants or buy expensive ingredients, most importantly never diet.
- Quit smoking – common sense!
- Moderate drinking – Do’s: enjoy alcohol socially in moderation, consumed and paired with food. Don’ts: drink alcohol excessively without food.
- Learn something new – Do’s: for eating better and for fun learn the sous vide cooking technique. To improve your fitness learn indoor/outdoor physical activity. Do it with passion. Don’ts: something difficult and unsustainable.
- Travel more – Do’s: incorporate fitness, eating better and moderate social alcohol drinking. Wineries, beach and mountains offer wonderful memorable experiences. Volunteer, for natural disasters response and recovery, all expenses are paid. Don’ts: excessive: eating, drinking and no physical activities.
- Volunteer – Do’s: Helping others in need is a great and selfless. Natural disasters are ideal for your helping. Don’ts: just donate money. Volunteer and donate ONLY to local grass-root nonprofit organizations.
- Meet Someone – Do’s: Make 2018 the year you meet that passionate special someone, if you’re not in a healthy committed relationship. Just start chatting up someone you find cute in at PopUp Cafes, volunteering or other active events. There are plenty of online options to help you find a partner. Don’ts: be closed minded, limit your search or compromise.
- Sleep more – Tired of being tired? Do’s: There are more benefits to getting a good night’s sleep than just feeling more refreshed. A proper snooze can do all kinds of things, including keeping your metabolism going strong, help you concentrate better, and make you less likely to get sick. Don’ts: allow others or yourself to get less sleep.
- Get out of debt – Do’s: be an entrepreneur full or part-time. Portfolio your income, not just work for others. Use new income to pay-off all your debt. Living debt free provides you freedom. Don’ts: consolidate your debt or borrow money.
Join me with the implantation most of these – “Top 10 New Year’s Resolutions.”
